· help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

About the Role

The Events & Partnerships Officer will help plan, coordinate, and deliver community events, charity fundraisers, and partnership activities to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver events (community days, fundraisers, volunteer events)

• Build relationships with schools, local businesses, and partners

• Secure sponsorships, in-kind donations, and venue support

• Promote events alongside the communications team

• Manage event volunteers and logistics

Seed Sowers are a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the growth of The Green House. The aims of the volunteer group are:

• To help the Green House grow our funding, networks and audience
• Give advice and feedback on fundraising campaigns and strategies
• Lead and support fundraising initiatives
• Make introductions to potential collaborators like business contacts, influencers, public figures
• Represent the charity at events and talks

The role focuses on advancing the charity’s mission through fundraising and networking. The Seed Sowers is an advisory and action-oriented group, focused on proactively amplifying The Green House’s fundraising and communications initiatives and increasing the charity’s income and visibility.

The group will be led by an appointed volunteer Chair, who will coordinate activity and act as the primary point of contact.

The Lyonic Scots Clan Society is a modern Scottish cultural organisation inspired by the legacy of Robert “The Lyon” and the survivors of Culloden. We celebrate Scottish heritage, Highland identity, and the enduring spirit of courage, kinship, and belonging.

As we continue to grow across the UK and internationally, we are seeking enthusiastic Volunteer Events Organisers to help us plan and deliver a number of small cultural events throughout the year. Whether you want to organise one event or several, your contribution will help bring the Clan together and strengthen our community.

About the Role

Events are at the heart of any clan society — moments where heritage comes alive, friendships are formed, and community is strengthened. We are looking for volunteers who can help plan, coordinate, and deliver small‑scale gatherings such as:

• Cultural meet‑ups

• Heritage talks or workshops

• Social gatherings

• Online events

• Local clan meet‑and‑greets

• Seasonal celebrations

You can take on one event, a few, or support the full calendar — whatever suits your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organise small events (online or in‑person)

• Communicate with attendees and the Council

• Ensure events run smoothly and reflect the dignity and heritage of the Clan

• Work with other volunteers when needed
