IRC UK launched its first Resettlement Asylum and Integration (RAI) programme in the UK called RISE in 2021, working in partnership with local councils, to provide integration support to resettled refugees in Southeast England. The IRC now supports refugees and asylum seekers throughout England. In September 2023 we started delivering the Refugee Employability Programme (REP) in the Southwest of England, a programme to help support refugees into work.
The Purpose of the Role
The Community Outreach Worker will engage with clients and partners, assess program eligibility, and provide administrative support. This role focuses on recruiting participants, fostering community relationships, organizing events, and managing logistics. The goal is to support refugees, migrants, and vulnerable groups by ensuring they access necessary services and resources.
Key Working Relationships:
Position reports to the Project Manager REP and will work closely with the integration and ESOL teams.
- Assess clients’ eligibility for the programme and maintain up-to-date knowledge of eligibility requirements and procedures.
- Input client information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and assist with tracking and reporting.
- Research, identify and outreach to services and resources that could be useful to the clients.
- Identify, collaborate and develop relationships with external partner organisations such as local council staff, charities and diaspora groups to promote the programme.
- Manage inquiries via the email inbox to support partner and client engagement.
- Arrange and facilitate information sessions online and in person to support participant engagement.
Administrative and resource distribution:
- Assist with project logistics, such as setting up the training rooms or events, preparing participant materials.
- Collaborate with the team members to support in administrative tasks.
- Organise clients travel and payment reimbursement process.
- Work closely with programme teams and UK supply chain team to handlelogistics for delivery of IT equipment, and obtain and save IT equipment and client receipts.

the3million is looking for a new Community Organiser to help us build the power of EU citizens in the UK and of their non-EU family members, working alongside two other Organisers in our team and the members of our EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network
Since Brexit, EU citizens in the UK and their family members have been brought under the Hostile Environment. the3million has been providing information to EU citizens and has continuously advocated for a fairer immigration system, especially in making the EU Settlement Scheme more accessible to all.
We provide a platform for EU citizens to become politically active and use their voices to advocate for themselves. The Community Organiser will be part of a team to create opportunities for EU citizens to have increased capacity to engage in activism and lead the change they want to see in the UK, their home.
This role is at an officer level and suitable for people who are looking for their first paid role in Organising, but have had some grassroots experience, even if on an informal or voluntary basis. You can expect to be mentored by an experienced Community Organiser and thereby learn a lot while on the job. More experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.We are currently in the process of applying for funding to extend this role. If we are successful, the contract will be extended by 2 years and we will work with the successful Organiser on a progression route, reviewing the job holder’s salary level after they have been in the role for 6 months.
Position type: Part time, between 3 to 4 days a week, depending on the successful candidate’s preference
Duration: 4 months (September - December 2024) with possibility of a 2 year extension from January 2025, subject to funding

**Duties and responsibilities **
1. Co-lead the3million’s “EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network”

Working with the Community Organiser - Campaigns to recruit more members of the EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network by regularly reaching out to relevant communities and booking 1-1 meetings with key community leaders;

Working with the Community Organiser - Campaigns to support and guide our existing Network members made up of over 40 community leaders who have a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience in campaigning, developing their confidence and ability to become effective change-makers and encouraging them to take coordinated, strategic actions to advance our campaigns;

Co-facilitate monthly Network meetings: setting agendas, facilitating Breakout rooms, taking minutes and following up with Network members on their agreed actions;

Support the3million’s campaigns by supporting our Head of Policy and Advocacy on our MP-facing work in Parliament and our Communications Manager to ensure that our campaigns are featured on our social media, newsletters and clearly communicated to key stakeholders such as partner organisations in the migration sector and to key community leaders on the ground
2. Relationship-building and in-person workshops

Rolling out a series of “listening sessions” and “Know Your Rights” workshops with community groups across the country: liaising with relevant community leaders to visit them and their communities, this may include working on Saturdays (and taking time off in lieu during the week) and running in-person sessions. You will receive guidance on the format from the Community Organiser - Campaigns but will be the main person delivering such sessions on the ground.
3. Professional learning and development
- Taking a proactive approach to your learning and development towards becoming a confident and versatile Community Organiser and Campaigns specialist, you will have regular check-ins with your line manager (Community Organiser - Political Campaigns) and engage in an ongoing process of evaluation, thereby reflecting on the work you are carrying out to draw out learning and being willing to stretch yourself. The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in establishing and developing Global Greengrants Fund UK’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) work. The new role of MEAL Officer will undertake high-quality data management and analysis to produce key learnings on the outcomes of GGF’s grantmaking and other programmatic activity, as well as leading system improvements to our evolving monitoring, evaluation and learning framework in collaboration with global colleagues. They will be providing support to the emerging global learning function, and the role will support the delivery of learning activities across our network to develop clear briefs, learnings and findings that can be used by other functions, including the Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to strengthen the organisation’s external and internal engagement and knowledge sharing activities. The candidate profile
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They will be an experienced, senior-level specialist with a strong track record in data collection, monitoring and analysis, with good working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, tools and systems, and in using this information to evaluate and recommend adaptations, and in reporting. Higher-level qualifications/certification in a relevant field, post-graduate qualification would be a distinct advantage, particularly in the social sciences and/or use of mixed method approaches. They will have demonstrated experience authoring MEAL related reports, either organisational reports or academic publications; demonstrated ability to coordinate and improve the process of data collection, analysis and reporting and demonstrated experience in managing datasets, databases, programming, and other analysis software. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. They have exceptional organisational and research abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including analysing large amounts of information from disparate sources. Sightsavers’ work in the field of education is driven by the principle of inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. We are looking for a Global Technical Lead – Inclusive Education to provide technical leadership and expertise in inclusive education to guide the development and delivery of specific initiatives and programmes.
As the Global Technical Lead for Inclusive Education, you will support Sightsavers to promote inclusive education for children, youth, and adults with disabilities in education systems in West Africa, East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA), and South Asia. Working across multiple countries, you will ensure that disability inclusion is at the centre of conceptualisation, design and implementation of Sightsavers’ projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Main purpose of role
To develop The Family Centre Deaf Children’s (FCDC) fundraising channels and secure income from grant funders and individual donors in order to sustain and develop the charity’s services and infrastructure, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to FCDC's overall strategic development, aims and operations.
The Development Officer is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our Fundraising Strategy 2024-2029 to support the charity’s continuous improvement, financial sustainability and future growth.
The post holder will be responsible for inspiring individual donations to the charity through local giving initiatives and further developing the charity’s existing income channels including:
· Community and events fundraising
· Individual giving
· Grants from Trusts and Foundations and other relevant grant income sources.
2.Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 General
· To champion FCDC’s vision, mission, ethos and values (internally and externally).
· To comply with all relevant charity and other legislation.
· To uphold and contribute to the updating of FCDC’s internal policies and codes of conduct.
· To contribute towards the delivery of the charity’s strategic, operational, and departmental plans.
· To develop and maintain good working relationships with FCDC staff members, Trustees, service users, volunteers and other key internal and external stakeholders.
2.2 Income generation from individuals
· Sustain and grow FCDC’s individual donor base and community fundraising in line with agreed income targets.
· Research and identify potential major donors.
· Work alongside the Centre Manager and Board of Trustees to develop relationships with potential donors.
· Work alongside FCDC’s Fundraising Working Group, Centre Manager and Events and Family Development Officer to develop and coordinate an annual calendar of community fundraising events.
· Develop local individual giving campaigns and social media appeals to secure individual donations.
· Ensure all fundraising activity is in keeping with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and is compliant with fundraising regulations.
· Ensure all fundraising activity is in keeping with FCDC’s mission, values, ethos and objectives.
· Ensure Gift Aid is claimed on all eligible donations and appropriate Gift Aid records are kept.
· Ensure our email opt-in and supporter subscriber lists are kept up to date.
2.3 Income generation from Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Agencies
· Maximise income from grant-giving organisations to ensure sustainable growth of restricted and unrestricted income in line with agreed income targets.
· Build and manage relationships with Trusts and Foundations to secure grants of £5,000 or more.
· Research, contact, correspond and meet with funders (as and when required) to build relationships prior to submitting funding applications.
· Collaborate with the FCDC team across the organisation to create compelling fundraising proposals and produce high-quality applications, reports and budgets.

· Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of FCDC’s Fundraising Strategy 2024-2029, with specific focus on individual giving, community fundraising and Trusts and Foundations.
· Support the Chair and Centre Manager to set up a new Fundraising and Events Working Group (consisting of volunteers, service users, Trustees and staff), who will support and act as a sounding board for new fundraising initiatives and open doors to new income streams.
· Keep up-to-date with fundraising trends, opportunities and best practice and recommend changes in our funding strategies and annual fundraising action plans.
· Maximise income from new fundraising opportunities as and when they arise in the course of our work. For example: local sports group donations and company payroll giving.
