Contract: Permanent.  Full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Part time hours will also be considered.

Salary:  Full time starting salary in the range of £34,053 to £41,620 per annum for Social Worker depending on skills and experience (pro rata if part time)

Full time starting salary in the range of £39,291 to £48,022 per annum for Senior Social Worker depending on skills and experience (pro rata if part time)

About the role:

The Social Worker or Senior Social Worker’s role is a pivotal one within our Adoption service.  Some of your responsibilities will include:

· taking part in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters

· undertaking ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel

· support families throughout the matching process and once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order

About you:

As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development.

As a Senior Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in childcare social work, and previous experience of completing adoption assessments (or similar), or family finding/supporting children in their adoptive families.

The Role:

Mary’s Meals International is recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Risk & Governance function. Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. The role

The post holder will be responsible for managing Foxglove’s legal team and legal work. You will drive forward a range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. Person Specification

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £70,075 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. THE ROLE

The Fundraising Manager (Partnerships) role is a fantastic opportunity to lead on developing partnerships with The Girls’ Network's corporate and public sector supporters. The programme is well established with £170,000 worth of partners already on board. There is an opportunity to put your own stamp on the work, developing new collateral and ideas for excellent partnerships. The role is within our Fundraising & Communications team of four staff and works in collaboration with regional Senior Network Managers. There is an opportunity for the post holder to collaborate with the Fundraising Manager (Trusts and Foundations) on the development of grant applications.

Key roles and responsibilities

Income generation

• Primary focus of the role is to manage a portfolio of £170,000 worth of corporate partners and public sector organisations, to meet annual income targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.
• Develop compelling funding propositions and case for support to meet priorities, working closely with colleagues in Fundraising & Communications, Programmes and Monitoring, Research, Evaluation & Learning (MERL).
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects through research and excellent record keeping (using SalesForce), ensuring that applications are made to meet known deadlines.
• Collaborate with Network Managers on regional corporate partnerships, ensuring a consistent and good supporter experience and identifying opportunities for development.
• Ensure that all reporting and grant monitoring is delivered in a timely manner, working closely with the MERL Manager and colleagues across Programmes.
• Oversee calendar of third-party events, liaising with external partners and ensuring appropriate TGN involvement.

Stewardship

• Develop data management processes, ensuring timely impact reporting or other agreed deliverables.
• Ensure all donations and supporters are thanked in a timely and appropriate mode to their giving channel.
• Keep all relevant donor and financial information up-to-date on Salesforce, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other relevant good practice, as defined by the Fundraising Regulator and other sector bodies.
• Work with Communications to ensure regular updates to website and other digital channels, identifying opportunities for partnership activities.
• Work with colleagues in Fundraising & Communications and CEO to deliver appropriate partner recognition including events and other engagement activities

Other duties

• As a small charity with limited resources, all staff are expected to be flexible with their work and as such you may be required to undertake other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• You will have at least five years’ relevant experience as a fundraiser or in other similar roles e.g. marketing or sales, ideally with at least three years working in fundraising and be able to demonstrate previous success in generating income and achieving targets.
• You will be an exceptional communicator with the confidence to work on your own initiative and to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You will be well organised with excellent attention to detail, work well under pressure and have the ability to think both strategically and operationally.

We are looking for a determined, skilled, proactive trusts fundraiser to join our small team in this newly created role to help stop children dying suddenly and without explanation.

Tragically, 1-2 seemingly healthy children die in the UK every fortnight, often going to sleep and never waking up. This incidence is unchanging. SUDC UK was founded in 2017 to raise awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), encourage and fund scientific research and offer support and advice to affected families.  We believe SUDC research should receive more attention and scientific investment and are inspired by efforts to impact SIDS (cot death), where there has been an 80% reduction in infant deaths in the past 30 years. We can do so much more for SUDC children and their families.

SMART CJS is seeking a skilled and experienced Trusts and Foundations Bid Writer to play a key role in generating income from charitable trusts, foundations, and statutory funders. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of writing successful funding applications and identifying new opportunities that align with SMART’s strategic goals in tackling homelessness and supporting vulnerable individuals in Bedford and the surrounding area.

This is an exciting time to join SMART CJS as we grow and respond to new funding opportunities. The role is primarily home-based, so the successful candidate must be able to work independently and manage their time effectively. Given the nature of our work, personal resilience is also important, as some of the stories and case studies used in funding applications can be emotionally challenging. The role will come with realistic targets.

Main Purpose of the Role

To identify, write, and submit compelling, well-researched and tailored funding applications to trusts, foundations, and relevant grant-giving bodies. The post holder will work closely with the CEO, Head of Business, and operational teams to gather information, write bids, and track progress of submissions, ensuring SMART CJS meets income targets.

We're looking for a creative mind and empathetic team manager to join our Mass Fundraising team in managing our cash and appeals function. This team delivers inspiring fundraising campaigns to attract new supporters and build relationships with our existing donors. You'll also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of one of the UK's most well-known fundraising appeals: the Great Daffodil Appeal. By overseeing some of our biggest organisational fundraising moments you will be pivotal in the generation of income and support for Marie Curie.

Marie Curie has ambitious plans to double the number of people we can provide direct care and support to over the next five years. As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our cash giving strategy and leading key fundraising moments, including our annual Christmas appeal and the Great Daffodil Appeal.

Your efforts will help ensure that everyone affected by dying, death, and bereavement has the best possible experience, reflecting what's important to them. You will manage a team of 6 and oversee the delivery of over £3.5m net income annually, making a significant impact on our fundraising goals.

Main responsibilities:
- Establish a clear direction and plan to achieve net contribution growth for Marie Curie.
- Promote cross-organisational collaboration to embed our integrated appeals approach and oversee the full experience of the product audience.
- Manage and oversee the allocation and prioritisation of projects to deliver the product strategy.
- Manage 6 direct reports, setting clear objectives and providing development opportunities.
- Develop ways of working to ensure high performance and an excellent supporter experience.
- Develop appropriate systems and procedures to meet statutory and organisational requirements, allowing the Cash Team to run effectively.

Key Criteria:
- Solid understanding of direct marketing and fundraising principles, fundraising rules and regulations, and the external charity environment.
- Proven experience in building strategic plans, ensuring progression of objectives, and project delivery success.
- Previous people management experience with demonstrable ability to lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to build good relationships at multiple levels.
- Practical knowledge of campaign management, managing marketing budgets, monitoring, and using data effectively to drive results.
- Passion and dedication to Marie Curie's cause to inspire others and foster commitment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK and visit our London office 1-2 times a month.

Supported by a wider programme team, but responsible for this project on the ground, the Project Manager will marry our organisational expertise with a passion for environmental change. They will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and reporting on a set of behaviour change campaigns and interventions. 

The ideal candidate will be a natural networker, adept at building relationships within the local community, connecting people and creating opportunities, and have heaps of initiative and a passion for engaging people to work together to improve local spaces.

This is an exciting role within a fast-paced charity. You will have a proven track record in project management and managing a range of stakeholders with varying expectations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in evaluating projects and continually making improvements based on learnings.
