Across two sites in Watford and Hemel Hempstead, our work helps to build family resilience in the pivotal early years of a child’s life. Our specialist early intervention work delivering multi-disciplinary therapeutic play sessions, parent training/modelling, family social respite events and family support provides holistic family centred work aiming to build foundational skills for life.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Physiotherapist to work in an interdisciplinary team alongside an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, specialist workers, family support workers and the families/carers of the children within groups in Hemel Hempstead on Fridays.
As a Clinical Care Manager, you will also play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations within the charity. Providing strategic direction and leadership to therapy teams, ensuring alignment with the charity’s mission and goals including the recruitment, training, and performance of therapy staff; fostering a supportive and effective work environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our children and families receive the highest standard of care while supporting our dedicated team of therapists.
This role requires an experienced physiotherapist with excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a deep commitment to service delivery, clinical governance and quality improvement to ensure the highest standards of care. You must be able to engage with other agencies to ensure collaborative practice for best therapeutic outcomes. As a self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative, problem solve and prioritise, with good planning and organisational skills. You will be expected to have a positive, resilient attitude, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect to recruit from our members and from the community of those who stammer or those who support people who stammer (speech & language therapists, family and friends).
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead.
- Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
- Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for volunteers and ensure processes comply with the charity’s values
- Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
- Support and recruit volunteer community leaders for our groups and networks; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders. Longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
- Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
- Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings and volunteer recruitment campaigns.
- Keep up to date with legislation, best practice and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
- Maintain the database of volunteers and ensure all volunteers are registered members.
- Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.
PLEASE NOTE
This is a hybrid role, and all staff are expected to attend team meetings, held in London, every 6-8 weeks.

Trust & Corporate Fundraising Officer
Re-engage has just launched a new five-year strategy which will have growth at its heart. We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team as Trust and Corporate Fundraising Officer and be a vital part of this exciting phase of our development.
This is a new role within a growing fundraising team which is aiming to significantly grow income to achieve our growth strategy. Reporting to the Trust Fundraising Manager, you will work across both the Trust and Corporate fundraising teams to raise money from smaller trusts and companies and help them understand the lifechanging difference they make.
Key responsibilities
Charitable Trusts (approx. 3 days per week)
- Identify and research potential trust supporters, liaising with the Senior Trust Officer and Trust Manager on new funding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit compelling, well researched proposals to trusts and foundations, using existing cases for support
- Produce high quality, professional funder reports that meet the grant terms and conditions.
- Maintain a clear overview of funder reporting needs and funder targets for the team
Corporate Fundraising (approx. 2 days per week)
- Identify and research potential corporate partners, sponsors and donors.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partners, including making approaches, sending donor acknowledgements, stewardship materials and impact reports.
- Assist with corporate fundraising events and corporate volunteering activities
- Provide support where appropriate to the wider corporate fundraising team

Summary
The Bishop of Oxford is seeking a Senior Chaplain for an initial period of 4 years to be a resource to the Bishop and senior colleagues in practical support and theological reflection. You will need to be a good team player, adaptable, flexible, assisting the Bishop with daily routine matters, including contact with others face to face, and by telephone and correspondence, over matters of a pastoral, theological, liturgical and disciplinary nature. The Bishop's Chaplain will:
- Be a resource to the Bishop in theological reflection and endeavour.
Assist the Bishop with daily routine matters, including contact - face to face, by telephone and correspondence - over matters of a pastoral, theological, liturgical and disciplinary nature, drafting letters and references in the Bishop's name and responding in their own name to letters addressed to the Bishop where appropriate.
Act as required as the Bishop's personal representative with individuals, to parishes and at particular events/meetings, and on task groups within the Diocese including the chairing of the Diocesan Emergency Planning Gold Group and liaison with faith leaders across the three counties.
Act on the Bishop's behalf to offer pastoral support at senior level to colleagues across the Diocese and co-ordinate the offering of such support to clergy, survivors of abuse and complainants and respondents.
Help to maintain and build on the effective and efficient communication which exists among the Bishop's Staff and between the Bishop's Office and other offices, particularly those of the Diocesan Secretary, the Cathedral Chapter, the Communications Officer, the Safeguarding Adviser and the Diocesan Registry.

Key requirements
- The Senior Chaplain's main place of work is Church House Oxford, Langford Locks, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 1GF
- The expectation is of a similar time commitment as a parish priest. As a general rule the Chaplain will be expected to share in morning worship outside office hours, and to keep office hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with a break for lunch. There is an expectation of some work, and ministry being exercised, outside office hours. There will be some evening commitments. The rest day is generally a Saturday.

What we offer

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications and sitting within the Marketing and Communications team you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our awareness and acquisition marketing activities, creating and delivering multi-format and multi-channel content that helps us attract and acquire volunteers, fundraisers, donors, referrers and supporters through digital channels, specifically search, email and social media.

Relevant experience

About the role
