An opportunity exists for a part time bookkeeper to join the team. The Bookkeeper role is broad and will encompass some administrative work including managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes and stationary ordering. The postholder will also provide office services such as accounts payable, collection of time sheets and payroll. You will also Monitor cash flow, be involved in petty cash handling, paying invoices, communicating with local government finance team, HR and funding application /budgets and monitoring. 21 hours a week (3 days), hybrid in Lambeth, London. Perm post.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates who are AAT qualified with previous bookkeeping experience. You will be highly organised with great communication skills and be comfortable using excel and other Microsoft packages. You will also be able to demonstrate a passion for the third sector though your work experience or outside interests. Knowledge of QuickBooks online and funding applications will be an advantage although not essential.

About the role:
We are is looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our London and South East Care Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager out of our London and South East team base and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss, and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

A national children’s charity are looking to recruit a Head of Financial Accounting & Finance Systems. You will ensure the integrity of the accounting records and financial reporting. You will lead the statutory accounts preparation, year-end audits and month-end close. This role will play a lead role in employing strong financial controls and statutory compliance while managing and developing staff, building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and driving department efficiencies, improving processes and financial controls. This role will also oversee and ensure the organisations finance systems are working effectively
Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead the accounting activities across the group, including financial accounting. Responsible for ensuring the TB and GL is maintained and accurate. Ensuring there is a strong financial control environment. Overseeing payment runs.
- Lead the year end processes including preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosure notes for the charity.
- Lead the month end close process and balance sheet reconciliations. Reviewing team reconciliations and supporting them to identify and resolve unreconciled items

The Growing Younger team will work collaboratively and creatively to enable the delivery of the Growing Younger stream of the Diocesan Transformation programme, with a specific focus on building mission and discipleship pathways for 0-25s, growing missional chaplaincy in FE colleges and schools, and raising up new youth and children’s leaders.

The Role
This is an exciting and challenging position, which will be pivotal in growing the acquisition programme as part of our 5-year strategy. Working closely with the rest of the A&W team and wider stakeholders, such as the Communications team, media and creative agencies, you'll help to optimise acquisition activity as we scale up investment in this area. This is an opportunity for someone to help make a real difference to a varied programme using a test and learn approach.
In addition to leading DRTV, this role also involves delivering a variety of other important activity as required, such as inserts and welcome journeys. There are opportunities to turn your hand to a range of channels and product promotion as we aim to scale up channels such as inserts.
Criteria
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy looking for ways to optimise all elements of campaigns from creative, content and media testing and able to act as a key point of knowledge in this area. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings.

Summary
- Service Desk: This team are the first point of contact for anybody needing our support. They receive, record, respond and resolve approximately 12,000 enquiries a year.
- Infrastructure: This team manages the NCIs' physical and virtual technology infrastructure Also manages against Cyber Security threats and protection. We are Cyber Essentials PLUS certified having undergone an external audit of our Cyber protection processes.
- Business Change: This team support the specification and delivery of the NCIs' IT-enabled projects portfolio.
- Procurement Management: This team manages the NCIs technology contracts portfolio and oversees IT procurement procedures and processes.
- Operate as the first point of contact for NCl's users to investigate and resolve 1st / 2nd line technical incidents to agreed service levels and to provide technical advice and support.
- Provide a high level of customer service via direct phone and email support, including remote support and ensure service level agreements are consistently met.
- Actively own, manage, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve queries and incidents reported to the service desk and prioritise, resolve, or correctly refer to the relevant IT support teams. To provide both remote and on-site technical support to 600 network users across 3 sites and remote locations. Take ownership of requests and- incidents reported to the IT service desk.
