About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role in supporting the Executive Team at St Mungo’s by providing a range of services to ensure that their work runs smoothly and efficiently. As an Executive Administrator for the Executive Team, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team with your Executive Support Team Leader. You will be exposed to the inner workings of a large charity, with consistent and varied opportunities to learn about what the Executive Team and Leadership Team at St Mungo’s does, and how they do it. 

In this role you will: 

• Attend and provide support, including minute-taking, for a range of key organisational meetings. This will give you exposure to the strategic decision making and operational problem solving that takes place at a senior level in our work to end homelessness and rebuild lives. 

• Build relationships and work closely with members of our Executive Team, providing administrative support to at least 2 Executive Directors and establishing and maintaining effective processes. 

• Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to ensure that efficient and effective administrative support is consistently provided.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

About the role 

As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be part of Crisis Skylight Brent’s Engagement and Assessment Team, providing a high quality, non-judgemental and safe service to individuals who approach our Skylight Centre. Engagement and Assessment Workers are the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from people who are experiencing homelessness for the first time, individuals with complex and multiple needs, visitors, volunteers, and supporters. You will be providing information about Crisis’ services, delivering a high-quality triage and assessment service, and offering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) on local homelessness and other related services. You will also manage a small caseload. 

Crisis uses a case management approach, and the successful candidate will attend case management meetings, reflective practice, and team meetings. You will also work collaboratively with external partners and Crisis Skylight Brent’s Coaching and Learning Teams. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Experience of working with homeless or other vulnerable groups and understanding of the importance of respecting confidentiality, showing empathy and sensitivity, and working in a boundary way 

• Experience of assessing presenting needs and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment, and in a way that ensures that members with all levels of need can access the service. 

• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer care and high quality IAG. 

• Good knowledge of homelessness, housing and welfare legislation and Safeguarding procedures 

• Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with challenging situations with a calm approach. 

• Ability to manage a caseload, and successful relationships with external service providers and partners. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

We are currently looking to recruit an Outreach worker in Westminster are to provide accessible information to parents and carers, particularly those who are marginalised, to ensure they receive the support they need in order to increase opportunities and strengthen family life, bringing better outcomes for children.

Fluent in Bengali, the role will include developing an understanding of the local area including services and facilities. In addition, the successful individual will help to organise social events to bring the community together.

We are looking for someone who has experience of community and outreach work with diverse communities in an inner-city environment. A Recovery Coordinator is required to join the rough sleeper's team of a Drug and Alcohol service in Southwark, on an initial temporary basis.

This contract will run for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

About this key role

As a Specialist Caseworker, you will provide peer supervisory support to the team within the wider hospital-based services, which includes deputising for the Senior Caseworker when required, and support the Data Coordinator and Senior Caseworker with the collation of information and data for project monitoring purposes.  You will develop and maintain an up-to-date and accurate resource of suitable onward referrals and develop and maintain strong relationships with both clinicians and hospital staff and with other services in the hospital, i.e. CAMHS, IDVA, COMPASS.

We will count on you to identify and assess young victims of violence, producing support and risk management plans based on these assessments, and to provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community.  You will also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will see you provide practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children 

• Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy

• Substantial experience of assessing the needs of young people at risk of significant harm

• Experience in working as part of a multi-agency team, working together to achieve positive outcomes for young people and establishing links to further the aims of a project

• Experience of using support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services

• Substantial experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people

• Excellent IT, prioritisation, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Be a people-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering positive, inclusive workplaces.
