As the Finance Director, you will manage the efficient and effective running of the finance department and lead on the strategic development of CSW’s multi-year financial planning providing responsive reporting and adaptive forecasting to the CEO, the SLT (of which you will be part) and the charity’s Board of Trustees. You will be an excellent financial professional, self-motivated and passionate about your work. You are proactive and willing to work well with others to achieve targets. You are inspired by CSW’s mission and eager to play your part, through this role, in ensuring freedom of religion and belief for all.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant financial qualification or be qualified by experience. You will have substantial experience at middle or senior financial management level in the commercial or not-for-profit sector, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire people when working in a team. You will possess strong strategic planning skills, and a good grasp of key charity accounting and database software; principally Sage Line 50, Raiser’s Edge, electronic/online banking, Microsoft Office, especially Excel at advanced level. You should have good knowledge of financial budgetary and accounting systems, as well as the ability to ensure operational excellence.

LSCft Charitable Fund is the charity linked to the Trust which covers donations for patients, service users, carers and colleague’s wellbeing.

About the role
The Senior External Affairs Manager is responsible for overseeing the NHS Confederation’s strategy for how it engages with central government, parliamentarians, political parties and national stakeholders so that the organisation can effectively influence on behalf of its members.

About the role:
The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive support to our Executive Director to coordinate all aspects of our business; working with our Board and committees to take our services to our international community of plastic surgeons to the next level, and to further our mission to improve education in our field for the benefit and safety of patients.

As Examinations Coordinator (Clinical) you will support the Overseas Examinations Manager by coordinating the operational delivery of all aspects of MRCPCH clinical examination activity, engaging clinicians to deliver examinations to the required standard, on schedule and to budget.
This is a crucial role within the Clinical Assessments Team as you will undertake routine forward planning to work with the Overseas Examination Manager to support hosts for exams and related exam preparation whilst also supporting the recruitment, training and performance review of MRCPCH examiners.
With line management responsibility for two administrators, you will provide input into monitoring and evaluating each clinical exam delivered, to ensure standards are maintained and candidate and examiner feedback is captured, whilst identifying and reporting on key concerns for future improvement, development and delivery.
In addition, you will provide committee administration support, including developing schedules for committees, ensuring they adhere to RCPCH Governance arrangements.
Educated to A-level standard or with relevant experience in a similar role, you will have outstanding communication skills and be adept at managing stakeholder relationships.
With an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, you will be able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations.
You will also have the ability to act to minimise errors and inaccuracies, whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and correctness in dealing with information and data.

To increase income generation, specifically unrestricted funds, enhance existing financial controls, and impact reporting. To also ensure there are clear and impactful communications, partnerships and marketing approaches for the development of the Green Team.

About the PKD Charity.
Founded in 2000, we’re the first and only UK charity solely dedicated to improving the lives of an estimated 70,000 individuals and their families affected by polycystic kidney disease (PKD) in the UK.
PKD is a range of life-threatening inherited conditions that can cause kidney failure and affect other organs in the body such as the liver, brain, heart and bowels. Most people with PKD live with an uncertain prognosis, intermittent pain and infections, and then have to undergo life-saving dialysis or transplant in their 50s. A few babies have a rare form of PKD which results in death during pregnancy or shortly after birth; surviving children often have to have either a kidney or liver transplant before the age of 10.

Payroll Manager - up to £51,000. London - Hybrid
For an International NGO operating in 40 countries worldwide, we are recruiting a Payroll Manager. Reporting to the Association Director of Financial Services, the Payroll Manager will manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with policies and legal regulations. The Payroll Manager will manage a team of 2 Payroll Officers, and will partner closely with HR, Finance and other teams to ensure a seamless payroll operation. This role will oversee both UK and international payroll and will be a key member in the Pensions Committee.
Main Duties:
- Payroll Processing - Oversee the preparation and processing of the organisation's payroll including salaries, benefits, bonuses and deductions
- Handle all discrepancies and resolve issues related to payroll processing
- Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with all internal and external local payroll regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including annual and quarterly reports
- Complete regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure compliance
- Stay updated on change in payroll laws and implemented changes as necessary
- Ensure all payroll balance sheet reconciliations are completed
- Systems - Manage the Ceridian Dayforce payroll systems and implement updates as needed. Trouble shoot and resolve any payroll system issues
- Team Management - Lead and mentor a team of 2 Payroll officers including performance evaluations, and ongoing training and mentorship
- Collaboration - Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data, and handle payroll related reports and data to senior management

We’re embarking on an intensive 3-year fundraising strategy that will enable Westonbirt Arboretum to achieve their 10-year vision. We work with a bid writing agency to secure all major grants, and we’re looking for a Fundraising Manager that can add equal attention to our individual giving strategy. The successful candidate will manage our existing fundraising real estate including our benches, leaves for life, and Wills & legacies campaigns, while adding a fresh view on opportunities for our birthday celebrations next year. You will Chair our Joint Fundraising Committee with our partners at Forestry England; lead on the pipeline development; project manage activities across trust & grant fundraising, individual giving, major donors and appeals; and support the CEO with awarding grants and reporting the impact.
The role reports to the CEO and is responsible for developing and implementing our fundraising strategy as well as managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Are you a hands-on experienced Head of Finance who has strong experience as a Finance Business Partner as well?
An exciting opportunity has come up with a leading £18million turnover international charity which works in partnership with a global INGO to be their Head of Finance. This is a newly created role where you will be reporting to the Finance Director, leading a team of two and be the main Finance Business Partner to the Fundraising team specifically the Individual Giving team and other budget holders.
