The Chief Executive Officer will be instrumental in steering R-evolution through its next exciting phase of development. In collaboration with the Board of Trustees, the CEO will play a key role in defining the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives and will take the lead in driving their implementation. These programmes are primarily around cycling, cycle maintenance, horticulture and life-coaching.
Currently overseen by our Board of 7 dedicated trustees, our 15 fantastic staff and 27 committed volunteers currently work with partner organisations to deliver across a range of projects. R-evolution are budgeting for circa £750k turnover in 2024/2025.

We are looking for someone who is a strong leader, is approachable, and that has a desire to manage the opportunities that exist for our organisation.
You will have proven experience in a senior management role, leading successful teams, as well as a strong track record of financial management. You will bring experience of successfully applying for funding and will have strong skills in project implementation and management.
The successful applicant will be able to think clearly and make good judgements under pressure. You will work effectively, whilst also leading with compassion for others.

This role offers hybrid working between home and either our Blackpool office, surrounded by excellent amenities or our Ashburton office, situated on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park (a robust home broadband connection is essential). You will need to live within an easily commutable distance of the office either by car or public transport, we suggest up to an hour's commute. During the probation and training period you will be required to come into the office at least 2 days a week.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This will be based within community venues and working alongside our REP Case Managers to deliver an employability themed curriculum on a face-to-face basis. You will ensure that all learners have completed their ESOL Assessment, are engaged in the right level of support, are learning and are thriving in their journey towards integration in the UK and progressing with their ESOL to support returning to work over their time on REP.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work alongside Case Managers to complete ESOL assessments and design bespoke
ESOL learning plans for each individual
• Deliver good quality in-house ESOL provision on a face-to-face basis appropriate to
learners levels and in the community and at community venues.
• Where needed liaise with local colleges, ESOL providers, charities and other
organisations to refer learners based on their language levels and needs
• Monitor leaners’ engagement with courses, including our own, their progress and
objectives or qualification achieved. Adapt provision where needed to maintain

We are seeking an experienced, creative and strategic Lottery and Promotions Lead to join our Fundraising and Lottery team and play a vital role in raising funds to help us advance our mission of delivering compassionate care. Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our Fundraising and Lottery team. As the Lottery and Promotions Lead, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing innovative Lottery and Promotions campaigns that drive engagement and sales across Lincolnshire. Your primary focus will be on increasing our income generation from Lottery and Promotions activities, adapting to the challenging economic climate.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and Lottery to develop and implement a strategic approach to expanding our reach, reducing attrition rates, increasing income and enhancing brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and promote Lottery and Promotions products within the organisation and throughout our Lincolnshire community and beyond to support the Charity’s Trust-wide Organisational and Income Generation Strategies for 2024-2029 in order to drive growth.
- Identify and seize business development opportunities to promote the Hospice Lottery across Lincolnshire.
- Increase sales of Lottery and Promotions products, including lottery memberships and raffles.
- Understand supporter motivations and tailor Lottery and Promotions activities to meet their needs.
- Manage an income target of circa £700, 000 across Lottery and Promotions products.
- You will be the primary contact for Lottery and Promotions advice, guidance, and support to ensure that activity is delivered to the highest standard, and levels of confidentiality and is compliant with Gambling and Charity legislation, including the Gambling Act 2005, GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice and Gambling Commission

Qualifications and Experience:
Applications are welcome from candidates who ideally are educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and have a minimum of 2 years in Fundraising/Business Development experience with knowledge of Gambling Commission requirements and a proven track record of achieving targets.
Knowledge and Experience
Ideally you will have:
- Innovative and strategic with a strong background in business development and campaign management.
- Proven experience in leading successful Lottery and Promotions initiatives.
- The ability to champion and promote Lottery and Promotions products within the organisation and throughout the Lincolnshire Community and beyond.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Understand and analyse the market, identifying opportunities and supporter motivations to tailor approaches effectively.
· Focus on ongoing donor stewardship, building strong and lasting relationships with supporters.

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we’ve been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to lead the communications function of a fast-growing charity delivering frontline medical aid.
As the Head of Communications, you will play a key role in amplifying UK-Med’s voice, supporting our fundraising efforts through strategic communications, and ensuring our message reaches the world’s most vulnerable people.
UK-Med has an ambitious five-year strategy (you can view it here) with a goal to generate £1 million per year from voluntary sources by 2026 to fund emergency responses and training for health staff. While fundraising remains under the purview of another department, your role will be crucial in crafting and delivering the communications that support these fundraising efforts. Our charity’s income is currently primarily statutory, and while we are relatively new to fundraising, our voluntary income has quadrupled year on year for the last three years. Earlier this year, the Board invested in the team to support the delivery of the 2021-2026 Fundraising and Communications strategy.
As Head of Communications, you will build on the promising foundations laid to deliver an exciting chapter in the charity’s development. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, determined, and passionate individual to make a real difference in how we communicate our mission and impact to the world. Experience in the humanitarian or international development sector is desirable, but a keen interest in global affairs and a commitment to UK-Med’s humanitarian mandate are essential.
