Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide executive support to the Head of Delivery.
• Support with improvement of systems and processes.
• Support with administration of projects (Resettlement, Hosting & Integration Hub).
• Ensure that invoices and payment records are up to date.
• Ensure that rotas are kept up to date and accurate.
• Conduct research, compile data, and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
• Lead on the review of delivery team handbooks.

Continuous Improvement/Quality Assurance

• Lead on improvement of systems and processes across the Delivery Department.
• Assist with the implementation of an organisation wide strategic goals, providing tools and processes to ensure this is done efficiently.
• Collaborate and support staff in the development of systems and processes for the monitoring and evaluation of our work.
• Analyse data and identify trends, themes and unmet needs to contribute to the improvement of existing services and identification of service developments. This includes the planning, development, and analysis of surveys with stakeholders.

Other

• Make an active contribution to the overall work of Upbeat Communities through team meetings, staff training, awareness and fundraising events, and any other appropriate activities

Hours

This role could be 37.5 or 30 hours per week depending on the preference of the candidate. The workload of the role would be adjusted accordingly. Specific hours will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process to accommodate both the candidate's and the company's needs.

Partnership Development Executive.

Salary: c£32,333 per annum inclusive of Inner London Allowance of £3,333 per annum. If based outside of London, you will not be entitled to the Inner London Allowance.

About the RSS and this role

About the role

A key aim for this role is to help the charity to reduce its legal, contracts and compliance risk profile and to respond proactively to changes in the legal, regulatory, donor and compliance context. The Legal Counsel reports to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, works closely with the Chief Executive and other SLT members and supervises the Legal, Contracts and Compliance Advisors and the Paralegal and Procurement Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

· Oversight and management of key legal risks applicable to ODI including but not limited to, insurance, intellectual property, trademark registration, government legislation (including IR35) defamation, subscriptions, tenancy and lease agreements and other relevant agreements.

· Advise and manage contract disputes and audit challenges and assist ODI in mitigating legal risks not only in contracts but compliance and operational processes where required

· Provide advice and support to the research teams throughout the contract process, starting with tendering and negotiating through to the eventual contract award and implementation phase.  This support will include review, drafting and negotiation of contract terms.

· Simplify and streamline the contract process; developing guidance, templates and training for teams involved in contracting and promoting sound contract management across the global entities.

· Support the programmes with assessment of donor procurement requirements and opportunities in order to deliver compliant, quality and value for money arrangements on behalf of ODI.

Social media

• Maintain Blagrave’s social media accounts, and work with the wider team to ensure a regular social media presence for Blagrave.
• Research, create, and publish content for Blagrave’s social media platforms. This includes writing, getting approval and scheduling content, and creating appropriate imagery that is engaging and aligned to Blagrave’s style guide.
• Proactively monitor our social media channels, responding as relevant.
• Monitor social media outputs of other charitable foundations and youth organisations to inspire and inform Blagrave’s communications output.
• Strengthen Blagrave’s digital output/presence and reach by tracking analytics via monthly reporting on social media performance, making recommendations of how we can engage with audiences more effectively

• Regularly update and maintain the organisation’s website, liaising with colleagues to ensure all content is current and relevant.
• Publish regular blog posts and vacancies, when required.

Wider comms

• Liaise with colleagues in other teams to understand and support them in their comms needs, implementing internal / external comms initiatives as required.
• Design, draft and circulate internal and external comms outputs and suggest new ways to communicate our messages to our audiences.
• Be a guardian of Blagrave’s tone and brand identity, reviewing communications outputs prepared by the team.

The country’s most vulnerable children have overwhelmingly poor educational and life-outcomes, with disastrous consequences for themselves and society. Many of these children are excluded from school.

The Difference exists to improve the life-outcomes of the most vulnerable children by raising the status and expertise of those who educate them. The organisation creates specialist senior school leaders, with the expertise to lead whole-school and multi-agency approaches to meeting the learning, wellbeing, and safeguarding needs of all children.

The Difference is a small and growing organisation, founded in 2017. They’re an agile and flexible team and you’ll be joining at a time of investment in fundraising, having recently employed their first full-time Head of Fundraising.  It’s an exciting time to join the organisation as they develop a new strategy to take them to 2030 with fundraising playing a key role in the organisation’s growth. They have a small but generous group of funders who have supported The Difference and as Trust & Foundations Manager you will work to grow the pipeline of trust funders and work closely with the Head of Fundraising to develop a fundraising strategy.

You will manage, develop, and grow The Difference’s portfolio of trusts and foundation donors, supporting to diversify their donor base and secure high value, long term support. This post will manage trust income in line with donor requirements, identifying and building relationships with new prospects and submitting high quality and engaging reports and proposals. • Write compelling funding applications and grant reports to trusts and foundations at 5- and 6-figure level

• Develop and expand meaningful engagement opportunities that can be offered to funders

• Experience developing bids and applications for 5+ figure grants

What you will be doing

• Leading the implementation (across the Academy) of our strategic priority to support UK biomedical and health research to strengthen its global competitiveness and reputation in a way that aligns with our values and exploits synergies with our other strategic priorities. Advising the Academy’s Council and SLT of key gaps and opportunities.
• Maximising the impact of our work to inform and influence evidence-based decision-making in Government and other key organisations across the public, private and charitable sector.
• Leading the Science base and careers policy team of four staff that develop and deliver these programmes and working in partnership with other parts of the Academy that underpin our success.
• Building strategic, collaborative and sustained relationships with individuals and organisations across the health and wider research sectors.
• Developing innovative approaches to the Academy’s work to support evidence-based decision-making and embedding new approaches to monitoring and evaluation.
• As a member of the Academy’s Leadership Team (the Academy’s Directors and Heads), inform and deliver the Academy’s priorities, including our organisational change programme, measurement and reporting of impact and contributing to securing funding for the Academy’s activities.
• Ensuring that the Academy’s SLT and Honorary Officers are engaging at the highest levels in Government, Parliament and with external stakeholders and that they are comprehensively briefed on complex issues and advised on opportunities and options for influence.
• Representing the Academy externally (including on Government advisory groups) and deputising for the Director, Executive Director and the Academy’s Honorary Officers.

What you will bring to the role

• Understanding of the UK science base and associated careers, ideally in health or life sciences, and the associated policy landscape.
• Ability to gather and synthesise complex information to support decision-making.
• Experience of sustained and productive relationships with peers outside of one’s own organisation.
• An established reputation in health or research policy and/or experience of working within, or closely with, Government or research funders (including medical research charities) in a policy role would be an advantage.
• Experience of managing staff.

JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Account management of a portfolio of high value partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and support the development of new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
• Act as team lead for quarterly corporate e-newsletter.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.
• Support a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR.
• Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels. 
• Support Senior New Business Officer with prospecting, research and cultivation in designated sectors.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE 
Essential Experience

• A track record of stewarding and maximising multi-year corporate partnership(s), preferably within the charity sector.
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to increase income.

Income & Business Development Manager

£40-42k, 37.5 hours per week, Thornton (L23).

St. Joseph's Hospice Merseyside is the oldest and largest hospice on Merseyside, providing specialized end-of-life care for patients with a wide range of life-limiting conditions. The hospice's 31-bed Inpatient Unit is located in a beautiful setting within a conservation area and 12 acres of natural woodland in Thornton, Merseyside. The hospice's specialist healthcare teams care for over 200 patients and their families from across Liverpool, Sefton, and West Lancashire every year. Our services are free to our patients and it costs around £10k per day to run the hospice. 

With the changing horizon of Fundraising, this is a new role for the hospice and pivotal to our future income generation activity for the Charity. The Income & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds and secure partnerships for the hospice. They will lead the existing Hospice fundraising team, identify new sources of income, build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters, and manage fundraising events.

Role requirements

• Proven ability to build, manage and develop key stakeholder and donor relationships

The Role: Finance Manager

Reporting the Head of Finance, you will lead the process of accurate and reliable financial accounts for the group.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and manage an established team.
