A member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be joining the leading Anglican wellbeing charity, supporting thousands of households each year, as we embark on a new strategic period (2026-30) and at a pivotal point in our mission. This new role will have the creativity and freedom to design, create and deliver a new online charitable offer to existing and new audience groups. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, delivering and overseeing a strategic plan for growth in our online / self-service offer. Working with the Director of Charitable Services (DCS), Development & Resources Manager (DRM), other SLT colleagues and the wider organisation, this new, visionary role will be instrumental in delivering new solutions to clergy and their families, while delivering on our strategic objectives.
We need your skills and expertise to take our preventive, non-financial support further. This will include:
- working with new and existing external partners
- sourcing potential digital agencies
- contract management
- project planning
- monitoring and evaluation of new services
- highlighting trends
- managing the online charitable offer to ensure they are easily accessible and available to all via suitable technology and digital platforms
You will have the support of our excellent and established Charitable Services team, who are at the forefront of dealing with the day-to-day challenges faced by clergy households. In addition, you will work closely with a supportive Senior Leadership Team, External Relations team, and trustees.

FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food from the food industry and get it to our Members - frontline charities and community groups all over the Midlands. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Last year we redistributed almost 5,794 tonnes of food from our warehouses in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. It is sorted and stored by our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers, and then redistributed to around 800 Members including food pantries and cafes, homeless shelters and drop-in centres.
These local organisations turn the food into food parcels, affordable shopping and delicious meals for people of all ages. As well as food, our Members provide vital support to families and the elderly, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances and living in poverty.
Last year our food reached more than 83,000 vulnerable people every week, providing 13 million meals. At the same time, we are growing our Employability Programmes to help people gain work experience, skills and jobs.
The Role
To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Fork Lift Trucks (training provided). Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Operations
· Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient co-ordination and distribution and of food
· To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
· To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in
· Follow all H&S and Food Safety standards set out in the FareShare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our colleagues & visitors, and the safe receipt of food by all our members.
· Undertake van/Fork Lift Truck driving duties to ensure effective, efficient timely and safe delivery & collection of food, in line with compliance standards
· Ensuring great customer service in delivery
· Loading and unloading, sorting for, and following deliveries, ensuring safe lifting, and carrying
· Keep vehicles refuelled, maintained, operational and clean and tidy, ready for the next delivery run
· Refer van “issues”, in a timely manner to Transport Department to ensure minimum disruption to service delivery
· Undertake all checks and procedures from pre-delivery to post-delivery
· Ensure lock up, parking and storage of vans and equipment following completion of deliveries
2. Volunteer Communication & Co-ordination
· Work closely with the volunteer teams a diverse group ranging from regular and long-term, volunteers, placements (e.g. Job Centre) to business people having just a 1-day volunteering experience – to ensure that all shift duties are covered and teams work effectively
· Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they follow all policies and procedures, high standards of accuracy are maintained and their volunteer experience with FSM is a satisfying one.
· Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Volunteer Manager & wider staff team with the recruitment, training and development of volunteers in the context of our commitment to Equal Opportunities
· Participate in end of day reviews and planning for the next day’s activities
· Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities, at all times
3. Standards
· Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and other standards applicable to the building, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, our staff and volunteers. carrying out risk assessments as required
· Uphold and develop high quality customer care towards & communication with our Community Food Members (CFMs)
4. Administration
· Ensure that food movements are accurately logged on the electronic stock management system
· Carry out depot administration, including running reports, correspondence with member groups, updating volunteer records
· Ensure that relevant administrative matters are dealt with in a timely way, for instance food safety traces & customer complaints.

· The role requires manually loading stock into a van (up to 20/30kg) and unload each delivery
· A good geographical knowledge of the County and surrounding area would be helpful.

Responsibilities
- To manage the operations of the MSSC Logistics & Trading department, which includes motor transport management for the MSSC.
- To be line manager to the Logistics & Trading Team.
- Be Building Manager responsible for the safety and security of all machinery, staff and operations within Sea Cadet Stores.
- Be responsible for budgetary control and finances associated with the department.
- To provide warehouse management and administrative oversite to operations for receipt and dispatch of online shop orders, MoD and MSSC stores held on loan throughout the MSSC.
- Liaise with SCC units, contractors, suppliers and MoD, to effectively deliver an efficient, effective department.

Purpose & Scope
Working closely with the Valley CiDS Head of Operations, designated colleagues and external contractors, the Premises & Facilities Manager will oversee the efficient management, maintenance, and compliance of our growing portfolio of over 40 properties. This includes our Lighthouse Charity Shops, Blend Youth Project centres, office facilities and vocational learning sites, such as our 48-acre Turner Farm Project. You will also play a key role in promoting the growth of our charity retail portfolio and core revenue stream, by working closely with the Director of Retail to identify new Lighthouse Charity Shop locations.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Property Management:
- To oversee scheduled and reactive maintenance relating to the charity’s property portfolio.
- To obtain quotes and tenders for required jobs, exercising due diligence, and working within budgets and time constraints.
- To liaise accordingly with external tradespersons and contractors, overseeing and managing relationships with contractors on all sites.
- To manage and ensure effective communication with department leads and relevant managers regarding site works to be undertaken.
- To have oversight of the registering of all leases with the Valuation Office Agency & Land Registry.
- To oversee the works required to maintain our premises and facilities and liaise with the relevant contractors.
- To undertake relevant procurement projects to ensure best value for money across our premises portfolio.
- To liaise with our insurers in the case of reporting incidents and processing premises related claims.
Compliance & Health & Safety:
- To ensure all contractors have the required insurance and risk assessments in place before commencing work.
- To undertake premises risk assessments and support staff in implementing the recommendations.
- To oversee a rolling programme of comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments across all premises, monitoring and implementing remedial works required.
- To implement updated Health & Safety compliance policies & procedures across the charity.
New Premises & Lease Agreements:
- To take an active role in identifying new premises for Lighthouse Charity Shops, working closely with the Director of Retail and the wider Retail Management Team.
- To take an active role in the negotiation of terms for new and existing renewal leases with relevant landlords.
- To assist the Head of Operations and relevant teams in the setting up of new retail premises.

As our Facilities and IT Support Officer you will play a crucial role in delivering our new five-year strategy, Giving hope through life-changing medical research, by ensuring our office operates efficiently and effectively, and our team are supported with a first class operations function.
Your main responsibilities
- Maintaining the office including liaising with external service providers for the maintenance of fixtures and fittings, H&S equipment and supplies such as fire prevention/detection/fighting equipment, and other service contracts. Troubleshooting facilities issues as they arise, escalating as necessary.
- Supporting the discharge of the organisation’s health and safety responsibilities by undertaking H&S risk assessments, managing Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments, creating Personal Evacuation Plans, carrying out health and safety inductions for new starters and serving as a member of the charity’s first marshal and first aider team.
- Acting as the primary contact for our IT service provider, liaising with them to resolve problems with office equipment or software. Supporting staff and visitors with IT-related matters, resolving common IT issues where possible, delivering training and developing training guides on IT equipment and software.
- Processing new starters including liaising with the IT service provider for the provision of new accounts and equipment; setting up new accounts in the house style and adding users to email and chat distribution lists; inducting new staff on the use of IT equipment and software. About the Role
Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. At Hope4 we believe that everyone has the right to have a place to call ‘home’, somewhere that is safe, secure and sustainable, and enough food even when in a crisis. Although Rugby is a small market town, in 2024 we supported over 180 people at our Day Centre and provided over 6000 food parcels at our Foodbank. The Hope Centre clients access a holistic range of services from the immediate need of a sleeping bag to showers, food, clothing, computers, mental and physical health care, and Key Workers working on a tailor-made plan enlisting the help of housing providers. Our staff and more than 80 volunteers are crucial to making this happen.

Reporting to: Service Delivery Manager

Overall role purpose:

1. Case Management and Support:

o Coordinate and support access of clients to relevant resources and partner agencies both at the Hope Centre and in the community ensuring effective communications between all parties.
o Liaise with partner organisations as necessary including meetings with other professionals concerning clients.
o Advocate for clients and lead on access to appropriate external organisations to ensure appropriate, timely support to help end their homelessness.
o Lead on first stage escalation of client issues/challenges.

This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of HSI/UKs Individual Giving programme. Working right at the heart of the organisation, TLG is looking for an individual with a natural leadership gift who excels in building strategic partnerships with senior leaders, lightening their load, and increasing their effectiveness.
We’re looking for an individual who is incredibly proactive, capable of anticipating tasks well in advance and able to foster meaningful relationships more broadly across the team. The right candidate will bring an exceptional ability to manage numerous concurrent responsibilities within a fast-paced, innovative environment, all while maintaining an unwavering 'can-do attitude'. For individuals with a love of operations and project management, there are some exciting development opportunities to take the role to a new level more broadly within TLG.
