DFN Project SEARCH offer an evidence-based supported internship model which takes place entirely in the workplace. The programmes provide continuous support to young adults with a learning disability, and autistic people who are aged between 16 – 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan, or equivalent, in their final year of education.
You will be required to identify opportunities to develop and grow DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area with the aim of supporting the organisation to ensure that as many people as need it have access to DFN Project SEARCH programmes.
In addition, you will be required to develop strategies to ensure that the operational programmes in your area are achieving at least the average outcomes expected for young people in our programmes and so you must be committed to continuous improvement.
You will be specifically required to develop strong partnerships and train and support colleagues within your area. You may also be required to support colleagues promoting DFN Project SEARCH in other areas, further European projects as required and contribute to the development of relevant UK focussed materials.
As a Programme Specialist you will be expected to:
- Demonstrate effective project planning and preparation so that each project delivers achieves the highest quality programme possible and outstanding employment outcomes for the interns.
- Establish effective working relationships with schools, colleges, local authorities, employers and the project professional staff to promote the building of excellent, high quality partnerships at each site to ensure the effective running of programmes and promote sustainability in a volatile environment.
- Take an active part in decision making, planning and audit processes of each project
- Ensure that you implement DFN Project SEARCH policy and have a clear understanding of required quality standards and criteria which constitute effective teaching and learning

We are have the opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisors to join our People & Organisational Development team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
This Contract opportunity will see you working as part of a Shared Service team, managing numerous ER projects at any one time. This will involve coordinating administrative tasks, supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments.

The team is a well-established group of Advisors, and this Contract role is newly created to be responsible for managing and driving project based initiatives and ensuring the successful planning and delivery of key projects.

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Managing numerous Employee Relations projects
- Upskilling Senior Managers to handle change within their Care Homes
- Supporting Senior Care Management to implement change initiatives
- Dealing with disputes appropriately
- Staying current with Employee Relations trends, regulations and legal requirements
This role is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. You will be expected to travel nationwide regularly in the course of your work. You will be contracted to your home address, where you will be expected to work – using our collaboration tools – when not travelling.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust launched a dedicated Support Service in 2019, in response to feedback from our community. Over the last 5 years, the Service has seen a significant increase in reach. We are now at a crucial stage, after conducting a comprehensive review of our Support Service and are now looking for an exceptional, dedicated and enthusiastic leader to drive the implementation of findings and recommendations, ensuring everyone affected by primary bone cancer become aware of, access and trust our portfolio of services and information resources.
The successful candidate will bring our current Support Service and Health Information functions together, to form a cohesive and comprehensive Support and Information Service also and will develop a framework to monitor the impact of this Service, ensuring that the needs of the primary bone cancer community remain at the heart of the Service.
The successful candidate will be a natural relationship builder, forming excellent relationships with both patients and healthcare professionals. They will have excellent organisational skills and will be a confident and compassionate leader.
