You will be self-motivated, able to build your expertise in the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks within which they operate and apply that expertise across a wide portfolio of activity. As new initiatives evolve and become business as usual, the work of operations will evolve.
What you’ll do:
- Provide tailored advice on all matters that might affect a trainee’s status and training time using expertise in the regulatory frameworks associated with specialty training in the UK.
- Proactively work with WDTO colleagues to ensure trainees and trainers are adequately supported.
- Review and prepare CESR and MTI applications for assessment by the specialist committee.
- Manage and deliver the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) recommendation process.
- Provide a timely, customer-focussed and responsive service.
What you’ll need:
- Detailed understanding (or the ability to rapidly acquire it) of UK legislation and GMC regulations and procedures in relation to entry to GMC registers and the right to work in the UK.
- Ability to understand, interpret and advise on legislation, external processes and complex documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues.
- Strong team player able to work collaboratively to meet team goals.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, talented and reliable candidate to coordinate our schools’ outreach team, inspiring high-quality applications for funding from Year 12s. We are at an exciting stage of growth, now in 20% of London schools, so there is great scope to shape our strategic direction, including cultivating our alumni network of previous award winners. We are looking for competent leader, ideally with experience of risk and physical challenge, and strong administrative skills, who is comfortable working with schools. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.

Role Description
We are looking for a senior leader, with extensive experience in education project and/or programme management, who can lead a fast-growing team within a mission-driven organisation. You will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, in particular working closely with the interim CEO, the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Impact and the charity’s Senior Programmes Leaders. You will have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees and the unique opportunity to fundamentally shape the organisation and its direction.
The Chief Programmes Officer will be responsible for all aspects of programme delivery, including providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the programmes delivery team, business development and stakeholder management with new partners in further education, and reviewing and improving delivery across all our programmes. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Executive Leadership
- Working closely with the CEO, the Chief Operations Officer and the Director of Impact to provide overall leadership for the organisation, deliver the organisation’s new five-year strategy, and embed its values.
- Regularly updating the board on programme delivery and developments through participation in full Board and subcommittee meetings.
- Deputising for the CEO as needed, internally or externally, representing Get Further in public forums, with senior stakeholders, and with external organisations.
Business development and sales:
- Planning, leading and engaging in sales activity to ensure Get Further meets its goals for growth in terms of college partnerships and student numbers and secures new partnerships in key regions and areas for expansion.
- Line managing Senior Programmes Leaders, supporting their development and the delivery of KPIs with regards to college sales and renewals.
- Working closely with the Senior Marketing and Communications Officer to ensure a joined-up and impactful approach to sales and marketing, including through conference attendance and participation, social media, webinars.
Programme delivery:
- Strategic leadership of the Programmes Team (currently a team of 10 full-time staff), including ensuring that the team has the culture, working environment and professional development opportunities to ensure they are well-equipped to deliver high quality programmes and to meet our delivery KPIs.
- Overseeing efficient delivery of every aspect of each programme cycle, from liaising with the Chief Operations Officer to set and ensure achievement of targets for recruiting and training tutors, to leading the team to deliver on tuition logistics (including clear and timely student, tutor and college communications), and reporting on our impact to our partners in further education, ensuring programmes are high-quality and impactful for students and partners.
- Identifying and rolling out developments to programme delivery that help to improve our ways of working at scale, to enable the team to deliver now and in the future.
Programme quality and impact:
- Working closely with Get Further’s Director of Impact and the wider Impact Team to develop and deliver our processes for monitoring and evaluating the impact of our programmes, including communicating our results with existing and potential partners in further education to support the charity to meet its wider objectives.
- Ensuring Get Further’s approach to curriculum, assessment and tutor training continue to develop and improve with insights from our impact data, including line management of our Maths and English Curriculum Managers.
- Holding the relationship with Get Further’s subject advisory groups.
External relationships:
- Building relationships and our brand across the further education, charity and policy sectors.
- Leading on the delivery of a FE Advisory Group that provides advice and guidance to the charity to ensure programme delivery continues to move from strength to strength.
- Supporting with fundraising and advocacy as needed.
Person Specification
ESSENTIAL
- A deep interest and commitment to Get Further’s mission, including the drive to expand our work and the ability to articulate and pitch our programmes authentically.
- An excellent track record of sales within the education sector (minimum two years’ experience of directly selling programmes within education) and skilled in designing and delivering business development plans and/or marketing strategies.

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

A leading cultural, social change organisation is looking for a Fellowship Growth and Partnerships Officer on a permanent basis.
Location: London. Hybrid working (3 days office-based)
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000
As Fellowship Growth and Partnerships Officer you will be responsible for delivering the growth and development of the organisations network of over 31,000 Fellows in line with the overarching operational strategy. This involves promoting Fellowship internally and externally through events, presentations, responding to enquiries effectively, generating leads, and delivering digital recruitment campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving individual and team recruitment targets by recruiting on a rolling basis suitable individuals for Fellowship.
- Leading on specific recruitment sources to bring in new Fellows, particularly through internal and external events, other engagement opportunities, and digital recruitment campaigns.
- Acting as a point of contact for prospective Fellows, being able to outline in a compelling and confident manner the value of the organisation’s Fellowship to different audiences (including by emails, phone calls, face to face or virtual meetings).
- Managing and delivering webinars and events for those interested in hearing more about the Fellowship, to convince them to join.
- Using the CRM system (Salesforce) and reporting software (Power-Bi) to track and monitor Fellowship recruitment, drawing on data to measure success of different approaches and make decisions about priorities.
- Working across multiple platforms (Salesforce, Eventbrite, Pardot, SharePoint) to coordinate Fellows and team administration, including keeping records up to date, running reports and ensuring a positive Fellowship.
The successful candidate will have experience in persuading others to take an action through one-to-one conversations and public speaking, whether in sales, marketing, campaigns or another capacity and will be comfortable working to targets, particularly relating to growth or income. Excellent networking skills and the ability to engage new people effectively at events is crucial, as is the ability to think creatively and be able to spot and take advantage of opportunities. Finally, you must have strong data inputting skills and confidence with a broad range of IT systems/the ability to quickly pick up new systems and technology.

You will also bring strong controls and governance experience, with an understanding of what good looks like in finance. With exceptional relationship building skills, you will be a trusted advisor to staff at all levels and confident in presenting to influential internal and external stakeholders. The British Society for Haematology is the largest UK multidisciplinary Haematology Society. Activities include running events and courses (including their flagship Annual Scientific Meeting) providing online educational tools, producing guidelines, awarding grants and raising the profile of Haematology.
Location: Angel, London. Hybrid working (2 days office-based)
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
As Senior Education Officer you will support the development, delivery and evaluation of the Society's education programme. This includes organising online and in person training sessions and coordinating the development and maintenance of online education resource.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining an overview of Society education projects and providing input as required
* Playing a key role in the development and delivery of the Society's education programmes (online and in person events, online learning resources). This includes preparation of minutes and agendas, following up on action points and organising committee meetings as well as administering the events programme.
* Working on developing the e-learning platform and ensuring that the education pages of the website are kept up to date, working with editors to approve and add images and case reports, including the adding of internal and external meetings and new educational resources.
* Dealing with phone and email queries related to education and events.
* Acting as the main interface between the Committee and the professional conference organiser.
* Supporting the production of the Annual Scientific Meeting for example proofreading of documents, and user acceptance testing of online functionality such as registration and abstract systems, interactive programme and conference app.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, event logistics and management, both online and in person and will be happy working with third party suppliers, as well as volunteers, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key as is experience of CMS and updating websites. Experience working with e-learning platforms/LMS would be beneficial but is not crucial.
