In this role you will be responsible for managing the Trust's Unit Base Operation and will take ownership of the marketing and letting of spaces both in the buildings/structures and other suitable outdoor locations across the Trust’s 23 acres of land in North Kensington.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Officer who will be committed to generating income for the Trust.  You will be a strategic, commercial and customer focused person with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to tenants, staff and other stakeholders, with an aptitude for working in a complex and fast changing environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Unit Base Management:

Responsibility for driving improvements, developing, managing and implementing the Trust’s Unit Base operations, including:

• A promotional plan for the Trust’s offer is visible in the market place and to grow the service over time.
• A strong booking system supplying the right data for the Trust to manage the operation in a timely manner.
• Appropriate meeting and greeting, services, facilities and security provision are in place.
• Ensure all relevant information for smooth set up, use and strike, is available and passed to users of the service, including emergency or out of hours, contact information.
• Ensure a feedback mechanism is in place for users.
• Ensure a monitoring mechanism is in place for reporting upwards within the Trust.
• Ensure a risk assessment for the service is in place and kept regularly updated.

Commercial Lettings:

• Develop a marketing and lettings strategy in line with the Trust’s Asset Management Strategy.
• Proactively market all our spaces.
• Identify potential advertising locations on the estate and actively market and let such spaces, to generate new income.
• Liaise with stakeholders and tenants to support businesses and the local economy.
• Manage internal and external relationships, positively and pro-actively.
• Provide local economy support through engagement with our other tenants, community and external partners/providers.
• Establish and maintain systems for the selection of tenants and monitoring and evaluation.
• Undertake the review and selection of suitable tenants and the negotiation of terms.
• Review and approve lease/licence and other similar legal documentation.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in dealing with Landlord & Tenant matters, in a similar or equivalent role across complex property portfolios, in particular the retail sector.
• Involvement in commercial property transactions and tenancies in a commercial or community environment.
• Have good time management, organisational, communication and administrative skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of the local area and its social, cultural and political heritage would be highly desirable
• Experience in using property management software (or similar)
• Proficient at managing databases and programmes.

Personal Skills:

• A personable and collaborative approach, with proven experience of developing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including tenants, community groups, Local Government and Board members.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, orally and in writing.
• Good people management and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in response to changing priorities.

Qualifications:

• Commercial Property Management qualification ideal or related qualification/experience.

The post holder will be expected to have a flexible approach to working hours.  Owing to the demands of the role or events on the estate, the position may include working some evenings and weekends.

The Role
Identify, develop, plan and execute a calendar of virtual and physical community fundraising and engagement events and activities, for exmaple, a local Christmas Market, identifying third-party fundraising initiatives and virtual challenges, or leading on the identification and/or development of national events.

Oversee logistics, which may include venue booking, supplier sourcing/coordination, risk assessments and event-day management. Ensuring all events and activities comply with health and safety regulations, risk management policies and GDPR guidelines.

Build your virtual events community through effective use of social platforms/activities, which your Marcoms colleagues will support you to identify and deliver.

Develop and implement stewardship plans to encourage repeat participation and wider engagement in the charity.

Support participants in their fundraising efforts, providing fundraising specific guidance and resource.

Work with the Marcoms team to develop and deliver promotional materials, social media campaigns, and PR opportunities.

Manage events and budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and maximum ROI.

You will manage an administrator and be supported by a strong team of fundraisers, a marketing department set up to support the development of community activity.

The Candidate
Experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector.

Strong fundraising knowledge and experience in income generating events and techniques both physical and through digital channels.

Budget management experience and ability to work within financial targets.

Strong project management and organisational skills.

We will be launching our new programme from September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Family Support Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing our new Family Support programme. This year we launch a new three-year programme to achieve one of those key aims – raising the status of the early education profession, and we need a Campaign Manager to help us drive that work. 

About the role

• Hours: 30 hours (4 days per week). Some out-of-hours work may be required for which TOIL will be given. 

• Duration: Two-year contract with possible extension subject to funding. 

• Location: Homeworking, but within easy reach of London 

• Salary: £48,000 per annum FTE (£38,400 pro-rata) 

Although we work remotely with a team that is spread nationwide, this role does require someone that is based in or close to London in order to deliver our Westminster programme of activities.

We work flexibly and it won’t come as a surprise to you that we understand the challenge of caring commitments. We trust you to manage your time, but we do expect that most of your hours are worked during standard office hours so that we can collaborate as a team and engage with our coalition partners. Our core working day is a Thursday. As a fully remote team this helps us to stay in touch and connect.

The Coalition has experienced significant growth over the last two years and with early years firmly on the political agenda, we expect this to continue. Our hope is that this role will evolve and the successful candidate will continue to progress within this growing and impactful organisation. 

For the last two years, the Coalition has been incubated by the Women’s Budget Group, the UK’s leading feminist economic think tank. Our growth means that we are now ready to spin out into a separate and independent legal entity. That means that your employment contract will initially be with WBG on behalf of the Coalition but will then transfer across to the newly constituted organisation. • Whilst the coalition currently has almost 40 core member organisations who shape our policy and lead on our shared campaigns, we are looking to grow our network of supporter organisations – these are partners who share our belief in the value of early education and childcare even if they do not work directly in early years policy. The Campaign Manager will lead a new project to identify, onboard, engage and grow this supporter network, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest research produced by the Coalition and its partners. 

• With the support of the Head of Advocacy and our external comms partner, develop a new narrative to raise the profile of the early education workforce and deliver a series of campaign moments across paid, earned and owned media to support this work. 

• Deliver ongoing comms and campaign projects designed to grow the coalition’s profile across a range of stakeholders. 

• Analyse and scope political developments related to the early education and childcare workforce, identifying opportunities to engage and influence. 

• Support the organisation of Coalition in person and online events. 

• Engage collaboratively with Coalition members to coordinate and amplify their collective and individual voices and work. 

• Support with the creation, writing and publication of communication materials including blogs, case studies, press releases and research reports. 

• Work with our research partners to drive the aims of the programme. 

About you 

You will be creative, resourceful and highly effective at building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Above all else, you’ll be as passionate as our members about the opportunity that the early years holds for children, families and wider society. 

You will play a pivotal role in driving the aims of our new programme, delivering campaign moments that raise the status of early educators while amplifying our emerging research from this programme, and activating new messaging and narratives. 

With the support of our Head of Advocacy & Communications, you will grow our network of supporters, securing the backing of organisations from across civil society, the business community and the public sector for our shared aims. 

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of the challenges facing the sector and a good understanding of key influencers in this space including think tanks, MPs and journalists.

You will be a confident communicator with strong writing skills and an eye for detail. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a small team where we all muck-in and benefit from each other’s skills.

We are looking for an exceptional Advocacy Manager to work within our Policy and Strategic Partnerships team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace-Prize.

You will be working with the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships in the development and delivery of MAG’s advocacy work, including leadership of MAG’s UK parliamentary engagement, and contribution to the European and US engagement strategies.

About You
The Policy and Engagement Manager is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of the Society’s growing policy and engagement programme.

This role will report to the Head of Engagement and Storytelling, with managerial responsibilties for the Policy and Engagement Officer, and will have responsibility for leading the development and coordination of key strategic policy and engagement activities, including progressing external scientific and higher education policy for the Society and promoting the importance of engaging in policy-making to members of the Society.

the3million is the largest grassroots organisation for EU citizens* in the UK, formed after the 2016 referendum to protect the rights of people who have made the UK their home. 

Our work ranges from organising EU citizens’ communities and informing people about their rights, to holding the Government to account on the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement and advocating for social justice.

We are now looking for a Research and Policy Manager to lead on evidence-based research and support in the analysis of government policy and legislation which impacts EU citizens in the UK. 

We are looking for a creative problem solver who is detail orientated and approaches research through an investigative lens. 

This work often intersects with the wider issues of social justice, migrant rights, race equality, and data rights. 

You will work closely with the Head of Policy and Advocacy to direct strategic research initiatives, presenting recommendations to influence decision-makers and guide advocacy efforts, ensuring the3million’s campaigns are informed and led by robust evidence of EU citizens’ lived experience. 

*the3million uses ‘EU citizens’ as shorthand for EU, EEA and Swiss citizens who were resident in the UK before 31 December 2020, and their family members (of any nationality) with derived rights.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

1. Strategic research and issue analysis

You will lead on the3million’s research, working closely with the Head of Policy and Advocacy to ensure our work is shaped by lived experience, analysing issues experienced by EU citizens related to applying for immigration status, proving their rights and accessing services in the UK. 

• Collect, analyse and categorise issues raised by EU citizens through the3million’s reporting channels, including highlighting correlations to equality characteristics such as race and ethnicity, age, gender etc (including our ReportIt! system, email, social media and listening campaigns). 
• Interview EU citizens who report issues, sharing information about rights, signposting to relevant legal advice organisations.
• Identify trends in the challenges faced by EU citizens, documenting these in detail, analysing systemic issues.
• Provide strategic guidance on how research findings can inform the3million’s advocacy, campaigns and communications activities.

2. Policy development and advocacy

• Contribute to the production of high-quality policy briefings, reports and strategic recommendations that are clear, actionable and directly relevant to stakeholders including the Government.
• Support in the research and analysis of government policy developments, legislative changes and public consultations affecting EU citizens in the UK, specifically on areas related to immigration and welfare, assessing their potential impact.

3. Report writing and presentation 

• Lead on the development of in-depth reports and support in the production of policy papers and position statements, presenting complex data into clear and accessible documents.
• Present research findings and policy recommendations at meetings and events, effectively communicating complex issues to audiences. 
• Contribute to the production of advocacy materials, including media briefings, campaigns’ resources and informational content for the3million’s website, social media channels and for event distribution.

4. Stakeholder engagement 

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including civil society organisations and other advocacy groups.
• Collaborate with other team members within the organisation to ensure research and policy recommendations are effectively integrated into the3million’s community organising activities, campaigns and strategic communications.

5. Monitoring and evaluation 

• Report on the progress and outcomes of research and policy activities regularly, within the organisation and to the3million’s funders. 

6. General responsibilities 

• Represent the views of the3million in the media, when appropriate.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Conference and Events Officer to join our Engagement team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. We're looking for someone with proven events experience and strong digital skills to help us deliver high-quality, inclusive events in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The Conference and Events Officer will support the delivery of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, working closely with colleagues, venues and suppliers to ensure everything runs efficiently and accessibly.

Key Responsibilities:

As Conference and Events Officer, you'll support the planning and delivery of a wide range of events. You'll be involved in the full event cycle - from logistics and registration to on-the-day coordination and post-event evaluation.

• Project lead on planning, coordination and delivery of designated physical, hybrid and virtual events
• Oversee effective and accurate set up and maintenance of event registration platforms, ensuring a smooth attendee experience
• Lead on venue visits and support with venue and stakeholder discussions
• Proactively champion accessibility and inclusion across all events to ensure equitable participation
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaborative planning
• Support event marketing, including webpage content and digital promotions
• Take ownership of event logistic tasks assigned by the Conference and Events Manager
• Represent the team at stakeholder meetings where required

About You:

You'll bring experience of supporting events and have a proactive and organised approach. The Conference and Events Officer role requires someone who is confident, adaptable, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience delivering in-person, hybrid and virtual events
• Skilled in using CRM systems to support event delivery
• Able to travel and transport event materials when needed
• Willingness to work outside standard hours and stay overnight occasionally
• Strong digital skills, including event software (e.g. EventsAir) and webpage updates
• Understanding of digital marketing tools such as Dotdigital
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects

The role covers the full marketing mix, including paid social, email, print, direct mail, radio, and other relevant channels.

With strong marketing experience, you can skilfully plan and deliver campaigns across online and offline channels to reach targets. You have experience developing engaging direct response campaigns and excellent copywriting skills to create materials for different channels and audiences.

Passionate, creative, and detail-oriented, you bring exceptional project management skills and a drive to make a meaningful impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, working flexibly and adapting as needed.

Your project management experience enables you to oversee multiple campaigns while collaborating confidently with agencies, stakeholders, and teams to deliver quality work on time. A strong understanding of KPIs allows you to evaluate and optimize campaigns, applying insights to improve future performance. The Evidence & Evaluation Manager / Senior Economist will work in a dedicated Impact and Evidence directorate. 

You will be central to our ambition to create the largest repository of robust evidence and evaluations of what works to support young people into good jobs.

• In the directorate, you will support the Head of Evaluation to ensure all Youth Futures’ investments are designed to provide robust evidence of what works.
• The postholder will design, commission and manage impact evaluations and support impact evaluation methods (through a statistics or economics background) within the team. Working closely with commissioned independent evaluators, programme staff, wider delivery partners and colleagues in our Grants and Investment directorate.
• You will also work with colleagues to develop new programmes, which will improve the evidence base on supporting young people into good jobs by working with partners able to run larger-scale trials. 
• You will contribute to the development of our suite of ‘evaluation architecture’, enhancing our data infrastructure and administrative dataset access, as well as methodological guidance and standards. 

This role can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.

To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to Beat Macular Disease forever.

This role focuses on raising funds, recruiting new donors and engaging existing donors, with particular emphasis on challenge events. The postholder will work closely with the whole Community & Events Fundraising team in driving income, identifying opportunities and stewarding our supporters.

The postholder will also help to identify opportunities for income generation and donor recruitment including digital and social media. They will liaise with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager to help to forecast each year’s events income and participant numbers. They will also be aware of current fundraising trends and keep up to date with best practice and comply with relevant legislation.

We're looking for a talented Individual Giving Manager to join our small team. The role will be responsibile for the delivery of our excellent supporter stewardship, care and retention programmes, whilst driving fundraising growth. 

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of Women for Refugee Women’s (WRW) individual giving fundraising strategy, including through a variety of income streams such as regular gifts, High Net Worth giving, corporate support, events, and legacies; to develop and deliver WRW’s support engagement journey in order to generate income from individual donors and to develop strong and long-lasting supporter relationships; to oversee and develop our stewardship retention programme; and to contribute to WRW’s overall fundraising strategy and income generation.
