With pioneering plans for the future, we need exceptional fundraisers to join the team who will make it happen. The Grants and Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will be the lead fundraiser helping to develop and manage the pipeline of opportunities, develop tailored partnership pitches, oversee corporate volunteering programmes, and provide impactful stewardship and reporting to funders, ensuring sustained and diversified income for the charity. They will focus on researching and securing funding from trusts, foundations and corporate partners by building and stewarding relationships, creative and innovative approaches to engage funders and tracking fundraising performance.

The Programmes Lead - Sector Improvement will:

• Lead National Programmes: Manage a team delivering the UMHC Programme and Award Assessments, working closely with the Head of Programmes to set strategic direction and ensure successful delivery.
• Recruit and Train Assessors: Lead a team of over 40 Assessors to deliver the UMHC Award Assessment process to approximately 16 universities annually.
• Develop Events and Resources: Plan and deliver conferences, online and in-person events, and resources for our growing membership base (113 universities and counting in 2024/25).
• Build Strategic Relationships: Engage with the HE and mental health sectors to foster partnerships, identify needs, and drive improvement.

The role of Supporter Care Officer is a key post in the organisation working to maximise CLAPA’s income from the community. Outline of service:

Gaddum and Manchester Mind have come together to provide a new and innovative service which will support people to leave inpatient mental health settings and return to their community with the support they need to recover and remain well.

As a team, we will deliver psycho-social interventions, advocacy, housing and welfare rights advice and peer support. There will also be tailored support to young people (those under the age of 25). All we do is underpinned by listening and ensuring people feel heard – because we know that when people are listened to, they recover. The team will be working with colleagues within the mental health, primary care, inpatient and community sectors.
 

Job summary:

Reporting to the team manager, this post is one of two Coordinators. The manager and two coordinators will be jointly responsible for 12 staff working in a diverse range of roles, and who work for Gaddum or Manchester Mind (the two organisations who partner together to deliver this service).

Employed within Gaddum’s element of the service, you will manage a team of 3 support workers and 2 peer support workers, supporting their casework and professional development. Working as a team, you will develop this new innovative service and ensure it delivers highly effective, safe and quality interventions to the people of Manchester.

Your team will work with people prior to discharge from mental health hospital and then support the person to get the care they need so they can recover in the community. People will feel connected within their communities – to services, friends and family. You may carry a small caseload (3 cases maximum) dependent on your capacity and development needs.

The aim of our service is to:

• Repatriate: when people are sent to an out of area placement (OAPs), advocate to get them back to Greater Manchester so they can recover closer to their community.

• Discharge: Supporting people when they’re ready to be discharged from inpatient mental health services to get back to the community and recover.

• Prevent re-admissions: Work with people, post-discharge, to ensure they continue to get the support they need to make informed choices, stay well and ultimately thrive.
 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support and supervision to your team. Provide casework support; identifying when cases need progression, onward referrals and changes in levels of support.

• Develop and review risk assessments and support the team to manage risk.

• Work with VCSE, primary care, local authority and communities to identify available services for people to access.

• Working with statutory sector systems, identify areas of system pressure and, with support, seek to add capacity.

• Ensure service resources are accurately maintained.

• Dependent on capacity you may manage a small caseload (maximum 3 cases) to support your casework knowledge in this area.

• To work in a person-centred, trauma informed and culturally appropriate way that enables people to effectively engage with services and make sustainable links in with their communities.

• To use your knowledge of community care, policies, legislation and statutory services to get people the support they need to recover and stay well.

• Where appropriate, independently visit people in inpatient and community settings across Greater Manchester.

• Occasionally visit people out of the Greater Manchester area who need to return to their community in Manchester (all travel expenses will be paid and non-commute travel time will be part of your working day).

• Build relationships with key professionals to ensure individuals and our service achieve their goals (e.g. inpatient staff, social care, CMHTs, community services etc).

• Work with the Operations Manager, system colleagues (internally and externally) to develop a supportive and productive referral route into and out of the service.

• Support the development, delivery and review of the service, responding professionally to changes as we improve and evolve our working practice collaboratively.

• Respond appropriately to Safeguarding concerns raised by colleagues and escalate in line with Gaddum/ Manchester Mind’s safeguarding policies and procedures and best practice. Working as a team:

• To integrate effectively with colleagues at Manchester Mind, taking a “one team approach” to deliver a seamless service, understanding the different roles in the team and recognising each other's strengths.

• To support Manchester Mind Coordinator via peer support.

• Work closely and integrate with external teams to support clinical, local authority and other system colleagues to ensure a “one team” approach to packages of care and support. 
 

Reporting and monitoring:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes using agreed case management systems, following standard operating procedures.

• Ensure the reporting, recording and monitoring of your team is accurate and complete.

• Support people to engage in our service through coproduction, engagement events and feedback forms, improving these processes as needs be.

• Contribute to reporting, evaluation and “deep dives” as required.

• Identify the unmet needs of people and report these back to management.

• Review complaints to the service and action appropriately.

• Ensure best practice Information Governance approaches are in place to maintain the best data management systems possible – ensuring compliance with the Information Commissioner’s Office and Gaddum’s Information Governance Framework.

We are looking to recruit someone with strong administration skills who is organised, a good communicator, and who is comfortable in prioritising workloads. This role would suit an efficient and diligent systematic thinker, with a solutions-focussed can-do approach, who is confident at using CRM databases, WordPress, Office 365, and who enjoys setting up and refining administrative processes. The candidate should have previous administration experience (paid or voluntary), and who is hard working, proactive, reliable, and honest. An eye for detail is especially important and you need to be comfortable using your own initiative and be able to motivate yourself in your home-working environment.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for administration at Soundabout which includes:

• Ensure that email enquiries are dealt with professionally, promptly, and appropriately.

• Source and maintain Soundabout merchandise stock; update online shop, process, and send orders.

• Maintain and update Soundabout equipment, keeping detailed inventories and organising essential maintenance such as PAT testing.

• Input, update, and maintain essential stakeholder, project, events, and evaluation data using Salesforce (CRM system)

• Schedule, circulate, and collate monitoring and evaluation related surveys using Salesforce and Office 365, providing results for reporting purposes as required.

• Managing project and event sign up processes using Enthuse (digital fundraising and event management system).

• Undertaking administration relating to project and training commissions, partnerships, and memberships. This includes confirmation letters, 121 agreements, partnership agreements, membership renewals, annual fee updates, and contact liaison.

• Supporting colleagues with storage and venue hire administration, including researching and booking venues, checking accessibility, collating, and ordering any refreshments or equipment required. 

• Supporting recruitment and human resources administration, including data inputting on Breathe HR (digital HR system), supporting DBS checks and reviews, tracking training requirements, tracking insurance renewals.

• Manage Soundabout zoom accounts including creating and disseminating zoom links and recordings.

• Maintain, organise, and work with colleagues to maximise the use of Soundabout’s Office365 systems.

Job Purpose of Senior Administrator:

To provide high quality administrative support to the Discharge from Hospital Team – this will be a team based between Manchester Mind and Gaddum.

Your role will provide much needed support for monitoring, data and evaluation requirements of the service and the management of inbound webform referrals (including outcome/ feedback forms on our case management system).

You will also respond to or delegate emails and voicemails to the service appropriately, requiring a good knowledge of the service. You will also support the Service Manager with the improvement and development of administrative and reporting functions.
 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Administration and Project Support

• To complete specific tasks allocated through work plans and project plans, independently.

• To manage resources of the service, maintaining the resources folder, ultimately ensuring people have the right information where and when they need it.

• To amend and update resources as needed on Canva, developing and updating them as required.

• Support the development of communication materials including Easy Read Guides with support from Service Manager.

• To coordinate the arrangement of meetings, conferences and other events.

• To minute and keep a record of meetings as required.

Managing referrals and maintaining records

• Process inbound webform referrals, checking for accuracy, duplication and completeness of data.

• Support, alongside colleagues, the development of referral routes that align with service needs.

• Identify gaps in completeness of data for reporting requirements and develop solutions to address them going forward (e.g. identifying training options to upskill colleagues).

• Ensure best practice Information Governance approaches are in place to maintain the best data management systems possible – ensuring compliance with the Information Commissioner’s Office and Gaddum’s Information Governance Framework. Communication with clients and professionals

• Managing team inboxes, responding to emails as appropriate and delegating communication to appropriate colleagues.

• Respond to voicemails as appropriate, ensuring people receive a timely and professional response and resolving issues with as fewer contacts as possible.

• Contact clients for feedback, where appropriate, and accurately input feedback into outcome monitoring fields.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grants Fundraiser with a proven track record of success, to secure vital funding for our services for individuals with a learning disability and autistic people. You will play a central role in our charity, responsible for driving forward one of our key income streams.

The Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager will develop a robust pipeline of potential funders and devise a plan to achieve our annual income target of £225,000 from repeat and new funders.  You will research and apply to charitable trusts for grants of varying sizes, including multi-year funding, while maintaining excellent stewardship to encourage repeat donations. 

It’s an exciting time to join us, with innovative services, outcomes monitoring data, case studies, photos and testimonials and some cases for support already drafted.  Whilst our priority is to raise funds for our existing services, we have plans for new service developments which will appeal to charitable trusts, corporate foundations and institutional donors (TNLCF).  We have a broad appeal with a range of diverse services from playschemes, social groups for autistic teenagers, arts and drama sessions, family support, employability and independent living skills.

You will collaborate closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and Operations and Service Managers to align fundraising efforts with organisational goals and future plans.  You will work alongside the Marketing Manager to gather materials to enhance our applications.

You will be persuasive communicator with excellent written skills and able to present our work in an emotive way, whilst upholding our organisational values.

With a minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in grant fundraising, preferably in a small local charity setting.  Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and understand the intricacies of our services to match to funders’ criteria. 

Key Responsibilities

· To increase LinkAble’s income secured from Trusts and Foundations by developing a ‘Case for Support’ for each of our core projects.

· To co-ordinate a ‘database’ of current grant funders, with their history of support and project reporting deadlines.

· To research and develop a pipeline of potential trusts and foundations to approach, noting application deadlines and average giving levels with criteria to inform your approach.

· To submit high quality grant applications ahead of deadlines that have a good chance of success

· To provide stewardship of existing donors to capitalise on their support over time, ensure all gifts are thanked appropriately, sending regular update reports, annual report and supporter newsletters.

· Work with the Marketing Manager to access resources such as photos, quotes, case studies and to ensure the charity is presented in a way that is consistent with our branding.

· To work at part of the LinkAble team and attend fundraising events, challenge events and social activities.

· To work with colleagues across the team to develop fundraising projects and to package core costs in a way that is attractive to funders.

· To work closely with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager where there is cross over between corporate and community support and grant funding.

· To work with service managers to develop project budgets to present our work to funders in a tangible way that offers good value for money and matches the funders average giving level.

· Ensure all fundraising activities are ethical and carried out in line with our values, policies and procedures and within relevant legal frameworks

· Monitor the trust and foundations fundraising budget, highlighting variances against the budget at an early stage and taking corrective action.

· Contribute to writing tenders for new contracts as part of the bid team and support colleagues

Dad Matters is a PAIR (Parent and infant relationship) project specifically for Dads during the peri-natal period (conception to a child’s 2nd birthday). Primarily the project aims to raise awareness amongst dads, the wider community, and other professionals of the importance of:

• Fully involving and valuing fathers in the pregnancy and early parenthood journey
• Supporting healthy mental well-being of fathers
• Encouraging fathers to be attuned and responsive to their unborn and young baby’s needs, thus fostering healthy and positive attachment.

Weekly hours can be worked flexibly to support home/work life balance. Hours can be worked both in the office and at home, whilst meeting the need of the service. We are looking for an individual to undertake the role of Head of Operations at MASH for a 12-month period. This is an exciting and varied role and would provide an excellent opportunity for the post-holder to develop skills and experience in a senior leadership position. This role is suited to a motivated and target driven individual with strong financial literacy skills.

This is an exciting new role to both support the coordination of existing ‘leaders in advocacy network’ and to coordinate and lead the project developing a membership body for the group to transition to. The postholder will work with the Advocacy Programme Lead, members of the leader’s network and other key stakeholders to understand what is most needed from a membership/professional body for advocacy providers, develop and launch that offer.

Our nationally recognised advocacy programme seeks to support best practice in the commissioning and delivery of independent advocacy, so that people who draw on advocacy get the support they want and need, in the way they want and need it, when they want and need it.

The role is a 12 month fixed-term contact and there will be a review at the end of 12 months to review the feasibility of continuation of the contract.

Role descriptions

Project Coordination

• Update and deliver project plan putting in place effective project management systems and processes
• Report on progress, risk and issues and work with the Advocacy Programme Lead to address
• Work with Advocacy programme Lead to coordinate and manage the project as a whole, working with network members and other stakeholders to develop and deliver against project plan
• Proactively plan and attend network meeting programme, and task and finish groups, working with partners and  stakeholders including agenda setting and note taking
• Set up and maintain a members and stakeholders contact list (CRM system)
• Provide constructive and regular communications to network members and Partner organisations
• Actively seek to improve key programme business processes, seeking innovative solutions, updating and streamlining on an ongoing basis to make them more accessible and realise efficiencies
• Ensure the safe and secure handling of personal or sensitive data, making sure arrangements are always compliant with NDTi’s policies and the Data Protection Act (GDPR). Update Data Sharing Agreements with Partners and ensure the relevance and accuracy of Privacy Policies for network members. You will be the key contact for compliance and breach reporting, escalating to the nominated Data Controller where necessary
• Coordinate additional meetings and conferences as required

Relationship management and representation

•  Build and maintain relationships with core advocacy leader network members
•  Act as key point of contact for the project with advocacy providers and stakeholders
• Develop new relationships across the sector with leaders, policy experts and wider stakeholders
• Lead on regular communications and transparency across network
• Manage stakeholder expectations being aware of potential areas of conflict or differences in opinion
• Attend and contribute to external meetings with various partners, influencing processes, capturing and completing actions

Research and Feasibility

In partnership with the advocacy Programme Lead design and carry out an options appraisal to understand and present options and associated costs and methodologies for delivery of an advocacy membership body. This will include, but not be limited to:

•    Exploring different models of membership bodies
•    Research and present different fee models
•    In partnership with the sector explore and present options for a membership offer

Organisational and other responsibilities

• Represent NDTi as required, ensuring NDTi is presented as a values-driven, innovative, and high-quality organisation that is up to date with policy and practice and delivers effectively
• Work proactively with colleagues and teams across NDTi, contributing to organisational life and actively participating in meetings and events
• Ensure all organisation systems and process requirements are followed, supporting business and financial operational management of NDTi, adhering to all aspects of the Staff Handbook and relevant policies and procedures.

Person specification

Subject knowledge and experience

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting complex or large-scale, multi-agency projects in the public or private sector within employment, social care, education or health (e)

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced social worker to join our Central Support & Social Care Team. This is a fully home-based team providing tailored support to children and young people with cancer across the UK, over the phone and via digital channels. The team works alongside our social work teams in hospitals across the UK.

A key remit of the team is to provide support to our hospital-based social work teams during periods of reduced capacity or a spike in referrals. So as well as 17.5 core hours each week, this postholder will be expected to undertake additional hours as and when required. Support carried out for hospital-based teams will also be over the phone or via digital channels - you won't be expected to travel to the hospital site.

This role is subject to a criminal record check. In the event of a successful application an enhanced criminal record check will be completed. This role is also subject to a Social Worker Registration.

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England/ Scottish Social Services Council/Social Care Wales/Northern Ireland Social Care Council
• Experience working with children, young people and their families/carers in a social care setting.
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment, ideally in an NHS setting.
• Experience of delivering support to young people and families via different mediums including including over the phone and/or digital channels 
• An understanding of the impact of serious illness for children, young people and their families.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• You will be coordinating an innovative tenant-led partnership in Manchester, called Ageing Well in Place in Hulme. This is a rare opportunity to work on a genuinely tenant-led co-creation partnership that is achieving significant community mobilisation and positive outcomes among social housing tenants.
• You will work together with tenant committees and older and vulnerable people in high rise social housing accommodation to encourage social participation, build confidence and capacity, and facilitate peer support and leadership development.
• You will work closely with tenants to realise their ideas and aspirations for their block, their physical environment and neighbourhood, and their own wellbeing.
• You will convene quarterly multi-agency Ageing Well in Place partnership meetings and support tenants to build constructive relationships with local agencies and providers to achieve their goals.

GBV Charter Officer  – Tackling Sexual Violence in Universities (England)

About EmilyTest

EmilyTest is a small but impactful Scottish charity dedicated to tackling gender-based violence (GBV) in education. We work with schools, colleges, and universities, helping them develop effective policies, procedures, and practices in GBV prevention, intervention, and support. Our mission is to ensure every young person can live, work, and study free from the harms of GBV.

The Role

We are seeking a GBV Charter Officer to lead the implementation of our Charter pilot across five universities in England, adapting our successful GBV Charter framework to this educational setting. One element of the pilot will involve adapting the existing framework to meet the new E6 Condition of Registration on addressing sexual violence in higher education.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of sexual violence in university settings. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure institutions enhance their policies, procedures, and practices in line with the minimum standards of the GBV Charter.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Develop and manage a detailed project plan, setting objectives, timelines, and key milestones.
• Institutional Support: Work closely with pilot universities, providing guidance on GBV prevention, intervention, and support.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trusting relationships with university staff, student groups, and external partners.
• Training & Resources: Assist in developing resources that support institutions in meeting the Charter’s minimum standards.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress, write reports, and highlight key learning points from the pilot.
