The Opportunity

Centre 33 is looking to recruit an Engagement and & Support Project Worker, with significant practical experience of working with young people. A track record of providing practical and emotional support and guidance is a must as this is an integral part of the Centre 33 'Someone To Talk To' service. Your role will be to deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive information and support services to young people while developing good local links with other organisations supporting young people and the community.

Purpose of your job

You will be part of a team providing an open access 'one stop shop' at our Drop ins, offering information and on-going support to young people (aged 13-25), about how to make informed choices about their emotional wellbeing, work, education & finances, housing and sexual health. You will have wide-ranging and demonstrable experience of working with a complex case-load, assessing risk and need, and also of partnership working.

You will work to Centre 33’s values of being young person-led, collaborative, inclusive and striving for excellence. You will also be an exemplar of our relevant policies, compliance, standards and values and to help build a team culture.

At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for an Employability Programme Manager to join our National Services team on a 9 month MAT cover.

You'll be accountable for the development, management and delivery of the new skills and development programme for autistic young people, with a particular focus on employability pathways and activities delivered to autistic young people, including both online and offline support and content.

You'll manage contracts to achieve required outcomes and objectives, whilst developing engaging content for autistic young people, utilising our network of autistic young people to get involved with the creation, testing and reviewing of any content created. Sussex Emmaus is a 57 bed supported accommodation project. We offer low to medium support for those who have experienced or may be at risk of experiencing homelessness. Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing a home for as long as someone needs it. Emmaus works with people who may have faced multiple disadvantages. This can include but is not exclusive to: homelessness; mental health issues; contact with the criminal justice system; historical substance and/or alcohol misuse; and domestic abuse.

Emmaus is a homelessness charity with a difference, we offer a home, work and a sense of belonging. For many people who have experienced homelessness, losing their self-esteem can be the most damaging part of their experience. Emmaus provides the opportunity to work; it can be valuable in rebuilding companion’s self-esteem and self-worth. 

Job Summary:
To provide support to Companions using a person-centred approach, both emotionally and practically, so they can live and work in the Emmaus Community. The role will involve using a Strength Based Practice model to encourage Companions to become resilient and fulfilled. Assist Companions to become independent and maximise their skills, where necessary accessing outside support and services. Where appropriate, in accordance with Companion requests, provide a move-on pathway that enables them to be ready to live independently. 
Develop and maintain positive partnerships with other agencies locally to enhance the support available to Companions. Act as an advocate and accompany Companions to formal meetings and appointments.
As part of a team, support the Community Manager in the referral and admissions procedures including conducting risk and needs assessments. To ensure that all Companion records and information is maintained in compliance with policies, procedures and the data protection act. Ensure that all Companion Risk and Needs Assessments are thoroughly and accurately completed to ensure their safety and the safety of others, where necessary liaising with external services and agencies delivering support. 
Promote and embed a proactive approach to equality and diversity, by example and approach, with a commitment to treat all staff, volunteers, visitors and Companions equally and with respect.
To be part of the on-call rota providing out of hours provision to the service, where necessary attending on site to resolve critical accidents or incidents. 

About Bond and the role 

Bond is the UK network for organisations working in international development. We unite and support a diverse network of over 365 civil society organisations to help eradicate global poverty, inequality and injustice. We strengthen and champion the sector to make international development more efficient and effective. We work to influence governments and policy-makers, develop the skills of people in the sector, share expertise, and build organisational capacity and partnerships. We also support the sector to decolonise and become more anti-racist and locally-led.

 Bond gets nearly half its income from restricted funding, so it is critical part of becoming a financially resilient organisation with a diverse income portfolio, able to adapt to external cost pressures and having scope to invest in the work it wants to do.As our members shrink their UK presence, Bond’s membership income is reducing accordingly, and so we need to increase our access to restricted fundraising to compensate and allow us to continue to deliver our strategy.

Bond has strengths and weaknesses when it comes to fundraising. Our strength is our unique place in the UK sector, our structured relationships with the UK government and our key role in global networks, including around key processes such as the G7 and G20. Our main selling point for funders is that an investment in Bond can reach our 365 members, the UK government and the key global institutions in which it plays a key role. We have also demonstrated thought leadership on key issues, including anti-racism, economic justice, sector transformation, civic space, decolonization and development finance. We have access to unrestricted funding from our members, and funding from the FCDO, which can be used to co-finance other initiatives. Our weakness is that, as a UK based network, we cannot easily demonstrate the kind of ‘on the ground’ impacts that other organisations can, and we risk being deprioritized by UK funders who want to fund UK work, and those interested in work in LMICs who (rightly) want to prioritise spending in those countries. We are also rightly focused on our member priorities and positioning, which can limit access to some funding streams, as we are clear that we will only work on areas that are of sufficient priority for our members.

Moreover, many of the key trusts and foundations that Bond is targeting rely on relationship building and networking rather than a formal application process. We need to build up our profile and relationships with these funders, especially those in the US.

We are looking for a part-time fundraising director, to work on a consultancy basis, to support us in securing the next phase of these large grants and helping us to identify and engage with other funders to diversify our funding sources.  This role combines coordination with building strong relationships and supporting Bond managers and leaders to secure our funding into the future.  The person will lead an informal team of staff drawn from across the organisation (which meets fortnightly) and work closely with the CEO and Directors to establish and maintain relationships with key donors. They will also play a key role in upskilling and developing staff capacity to fundraise within Bond and coordinating our efforts.

We have done a significant amount of groundwork and initial scoping of trusts and foundations over 24/25, so this new director’s role will be to help us in opening doors and building relationships with priority funders. The director will also help to support the CEO, Senior Management Team and our managers to identify and build relationships with funders, strengthen networks and sharpen up our pitch. The director will also provide strategic advice and guidance to the SMT as to how we might strengthen our work areas to better attract additional funding, building on some consultancy on our finance model that is currently ongoing.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in fundraising from major donors and a strong interest in and understanding of the international development sector and the role of networks within that sector. They will have significant existing relationships and networks amongst the major donors likely to fund Bond’s work. They will be excellent at bringing teams together to submit bids, overseeing active funder management and finding the best relationships from which to secure funds. 

Main purpose of the job 

The main purpose of the job is to support Bond to secure the next phase of Bond’s large grants and to identify and engage with new and existing funders to diversify our funding sources.

Main responsibilities 

We envisage that this role will deliver: 

• Lead our overall approach with donors and ensure key relationships are nurtured (through the SMT and key managers). 
• Build and manage relationships with key funders and sure introductions are made to relevant Bond staff members. Monitor trends in key donor agencies (new leadership, new strategies etc) and ensure that Bond staff can make the most of these opportunities.
• Work with the SMT and extended management team (EMT) to create and sustain a culture of fundraising within Bond 
• Provide high level, strategic advice to Bond staff as to entry points and pitches with particular donors. 
• Identify key external events at which Bond leaders can present our work and build profile and relationships with donors, and prepare Bond staff as appropriate.
• Proactively seek-out and identify new fundraising trends and developments, and make recommendations to Bond based on this
• Provide us with advice on how to best package our work to attract specific funders, while ensuring that we are able to continue to respond to member demand and our obligations and positioning with existing donors. 
• Support and coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, expressions of interest and concept notes as appropriate, supporting our expert teams to present their work and plans in the most compelling way.
• Train and coach the Bond team ahead of key funder meetings and presentations. 
• Write and deliver the fundraising strategy for 2025/6, including identifying new potential income streams and producing new strategies to access these funds.
• Monitor and deliver annual income targets
• Provide the CEO and SMT with advice on how we can best adapt our approach and ways of working to build up a more diversified funding base.
• Attend meetings with funders and prospects, and networking events to uncover new opportunities for fundraising
• Ensure Bond’s prosect list is kept up to date and prepare fundraising pipeline reports for relevant board meetings.

The role will be supported by a number of staff who have fundraising as a small part of their roles, including the CEO, Head of Finance, Operations and Performance, SMT and the Extended Management Team (EMT).

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

Battersea's Global Programmes Department is looking for a Grants and Programmes Manager to manage the delivery of a portfolio of work within the Grants and Programmes function. The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to 2.7 million* means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.  When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies. 

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.  Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK.

The new UK government’s Children’s Wellbeing Bill outlined in the King’s Speech, includes a requirement for free school breakfast clubs in every English primary school. This is a fantastic start towards ending child morning hunger. Magic Breakfast’s influence will be instrumental to ensuring school breakfasts are introduced in a way that is hunger-focused and barrier free. In 2021, the Scottish Government, pledged a not yet enacted promise to provide breakfast to primary children.

Thousands of secondary school children are at risk of losing their free school breakfasts from September next year. For many of these students, this is their only opportunity to have a nutritious meal before facing a demanding school day, including taking exams.

Solutions across all UK nations are currently either not yet actioned or are severely underserving the current need. JOB PURPOSE  

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with expertise in Microsoft (Power Platform) who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in Magic Breakfast’s ongoing data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead the design and development of data-driven solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the Power Platform, while also championing the ongoing evolution and smooth operation of the system. Your expertise will be critical in shaping how the organisation gathers, analyses and utilises data to automate workflows, generate reports and dashboards, and ultimately achieve our strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

System analysis and development 

• Provide expert advice and guidance to shape solutions for data collection, aggregation, dissemination, and workflow automation using Microsoft Fabric and the Power Platform. 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and design, prototype, implement and test scalable data solutions. 

• Design and maintain scalable data models in Microsoft Fabric to optimise data organisation, ensuring efficient and effective data usage across the organisation. 

• Extract, cleanse, and transform data using Power Automate from multiple sources into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable data for analytics and reporting.

Students’ Union UCL is an organisation that exists to make more happen. We are seeking two individuals to offer proactive support and information to UCL students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Office for Students have recently introduced a new condition of registration for universities in relation to harassment and sexual misconduct (Condition E6) and this condition with come into force on 1 August 2025. The Advice Service offers a non-judgmental, safe and confidential space for students to seek advice and these Advisors will empower students to make informed choices regarding reporting options and support they wish to access, either through the university or external services. 

The role is a full time and permanent contract. This role is also a hybrid working role, where 40% of the role will be on campus based. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible, and job share basis wherever possible.

Have you got demonstrable experience of working with individuals who have experienced one or more of the following: sexual violence, harassment, gender-based violence and domestic abuse? Have you got understanding of the impact of sexual violence and sexual harassment on survivors, and how to support them with a trauma informed approach? Our ideal candidate will be a point of contact for the Advice Service, providing support to all UCL students (which may also include recent graduates or confirmed students yet to enroll) who have experienced sexual violence, harassment, gender-based violence and domestic abuse. What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £62,000 - £68,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
