About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to continue their career, within an organisation with real potential to progress into service management or specialist roles. Based within Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Islington Complex Needs Accommodation Service, you will work closely with the Regional Services Manager and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver intensive, person-centred support to clients at our Ashley Road project. This is a high-impact role, designed to support individuals with multiple and complex needs, including mental and physical health challenges, substance use, and a history of offending. You will support and empower our clients as they move from crisis towards stability, independence, and meaningful engagement in the community.

As a Project Worker, you will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of some of the most marginalised people in our society. You will play a vital role in helping clients sustain accommodation, access services, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take control of their lives. You will work in close partnership with external agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated support, while also playing a key part in preventing homelessness and promoting long-term inclusion. The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).

• Previous experience of working with people with complex support needs.
• Ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.   
• A flexible, innovative and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage and challenging client group, is also required.

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.

By generating the income we need to realise our ambitions, you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude. You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.

You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.

You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.

Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Media & Public Relations

• Proactively explore national and regional opportunities for media coverage, establishing effective media links to raise the profile of the organisation.
• Lead and coordinate integrated media campaigns alongside digital marketing efforts for maximum impact and coverage.

Marketing & Digital Communications

Group FP&A Manager | £450 - £500 per day (Umbrella) | Hybrid | London | 6-months +

For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager who will coordinate and produce consolidated financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The Group FP&A Manager will contribute to planning activity and data across Finance, working closely with Regional Finance Directors to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting. This role will report to the Director of Group Planning and Reporting and will lead, manage, and motivate a Financial Planning Analyst. This role is for a minimum of 6-months and could be extended.

Main Duties:

• Provide a financial planning, forecasting and management reporting service in the UK, Regions, and international business units across Group level.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage regional fundraising initiatives around the UK, developing relationships with volunteers, donors, and community groups to maximise income generation and awareness. This role requires a combination of strategic oversight, operational support and hands-on engagement with volunteers and supporters across multiple regions. Ideally the National Fundraising Manager will be present at the charity’s office 1-2 days per week, with the rest of the time dedicated to travel across the UK in support of our extensive volunteer family.

Person Specification

Experience

• 2 years minimum community fundraising experience or fast paced, target driven field sales environment with demonstrable transferrable skills.
• Experience working with, supporting, and managing volunteers, including providing guidance and fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering fundraising events, both small and large-scale, with a focus on community engagement.

This is an exciting new role at Camphill Village Trust tasked with driving the operational delivery and development of our vision to be the leading provider of Green Care in the UK for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

As the Green Care Regional Manager, you will be tasked with leading the Green Care teams across your region to ensure the provision and development of high-quality training and educational pathways, and nature-based activities for people with learning and other disabilities to create a sense of accomplishment, personal accountability, and self-confidence in acquiring and developing new skills, while promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging in a land-based community.

Our Green Care opportunities offer a diverse programme of activities that take place across our social farms, gardens and creative workshops as well as in our social enterprises including cafes, farm shops and food production centres.

As the Green Care Regional Manager, you will be responsible across your region for the development and growth of the Trusts Green Care opportunities as well ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of these programmes while setting out the expectations of individuals contributions and managing the balance between production and support. To achieve this, you will need to ensure the programme is delivered within the Trust’s Green Care framework, establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will need to maintain the financial stability of the programme by efficiently managing the financial budget and securing alternative funding. Finally, you will need to lead and motivate teams to deliver a person-centered and outcome-focused approach, ensuring optimal performance and delivery of a well-managed and good quality green care program. 

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Level 4 qualification or above in Education, Health and Social Care or equivalent experience 

• Experience working in a role which supports people’s development and progression. 

• Experience of community development 

• A background in delivering training programmes to improve health and/or educational outcomes. 

• Ideally previous experience with Adults with Learning Disabilities or experience within the sector. 

Location & Travel  

This role will be predominantly based at our Oaklands Park and Grange Villages in Newnham-on-Severn, with travel required to Ashfield Gardens in Stourbridge. You must be able to travel to these locations. There will be travel required between locations as part of your role.

Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) is offering an exciting position as Communications Manager (Digital and Social Media) in a dynamic European non-profit patient advocacy organisation. This role will help deliver the MPE communications strategy, providing both strategic and operational support across the organisation, and ensuring that MPE is increasing our reach and impact to improve the lives and experiences of myeloma patients.

As Communications Manager (Digital and Social Media), you will work with the Head of Communications and other key staff across to the organisation to:

• Implement MPE communications strategy, monitor and improve MPE reach, and increase impact with key stakeholders
• Develop and disseminate strong and relevant messaging for key stakeholders     
• Monitor and evaluate our performance and reach across digital and social communications channels

This will include working on the following core activities and tasks:

Digital communications (40%)

• Writing, editing and updating content for the MPE website (i.e. using WordPress, Elementor and other content management systems)
• Developing written and graphic content for MPE programme specific websites (such as MPE Navigator and Myeloma Access Atlas)
• Collaborating with relevant MPE staff on digital content development and publication
• Designing educational and promotional materials including leaflets, reports, patient materials, campaign materials and social media adverts/cards/images
• Supporting the Head of Communications with the development and management of monthly E-newsletter content, webinars and other relevant communications activities
• Developing multi-media communications campaigns

Social media (40%)

• Leading MPE social media and content planning, maintaining and developing our content so that it engages our audiences, supports our messaging and strategic goals   
• Managing MPE social media sites – LinkedIn, Facebook, etc, monitoring and advising on ways to increase reach
• Developing an annual content calendar reflecting significant internal and external events

Video filming and editing (15%)

• Supporting development of interview content with stakeholders (such as doctors, patients and other stakeholders)
• Video filming at various events, including medical congresses and the MPE Annual Masterclass
• Video editing and dissemination

Other (5%)

• Staff meetings, annual events, providing communications support to MPE team and other ad hoc communications tasks as required.

About you:

Essential

• Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in communications role or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience of writing and developing communications content , social media posts, news stories and articles (this will be tested at interview)
• Experience of stakeholder engagement and increasing reach of an organisation via communications channels
•  Ability to explain and communicate complex topics to diverse and lay audiences
• Basic digital design skills
• Excellence in writing, proofreading and editing in English. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker
• Editorial and storytelling skills
• Strong knowledge of social media channels and ability to use analytics tools
• Experience using WordPress and/or other content management systems
• Self-motivating, flexible approach and ability to work with an international team in a virtual setting

Desirable

• Relevant degree in communications, English or comparable
• Design expertise and ability to use Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere) as well as other platforms such as Canva or PowToon
• Experience of video filming and edition
• Experience in patient advocacy or non-profit healthcare organisation
