Role Purpose:
To work with families 0-5 within the 0-19 model, with flexibility for 5-19 and a “whole family approach” Including pre-birth, to provide Early Help interventions to meet identified needs of families both in their home on a one-to-one basis and in other settings, using group work.
Main functions
1.To empower families to engage in support, enabling a person-centred solution-focused approach to family support where the service user guides the package of support.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs, strengths and challenges of families accessing the service.
3. To support families with identified support needs, holding a caseload and taking part in case supervision.
4. To provide families with information, advice and guidance and signposting on various issues.
5. To provide family support drop-in sessions enabling families to access support
6. To identify barriers to accessing services within the local community and contribute to overcoming these barriers for all target and disadvantaged groups.

12. To provide guidance and support on childcare, child development, child safety, nutrition, and early education.
13. To deliver group intervention programmes that may include evidence-based programmes: i.e. parenting, domestic abuse etc

17. To engage with local partners and communities to promote public health messages in relation to Infant Feeding.

19. To provide support to women who are breastfeeding, encouraging the development of group support as required.
20. Communicate key messages about breastfeeding; in relation to attachment and bonding with their baby, providing support in a clear and empathetic manner as required
21. Maintain effective links with internal and external support services, staying up to date with available support services in relation to emotional health and well-being.
22. To lead on planning, delivery and evaluation of services, in relation to the emotional health of parents, including co-production.

About this role
The role of Health Engagement Worker will involve supporting a caseload of service users that are experiencing homelessness. The role requires the use of specialist knowledge and relationship skills to influence service users with varying degrees of mental health, addiction and trauma related issues to engage with health services.
This will include advocacy in registering them for medical services and accompanying them to appointments; assisting them in addressing all aspects of physical and mental health or substance addiction needs, as well as advocating or them to get access to source housing and social security benefits. Working collaboratively with our partners Arch Healthcare the role is dependent on good communication and joint working with a variety of partners and professionals.

A high degree of emotional intelligence is required to support service users, many of whom have complex emotional needs, with backgrounds of trauma, neglect, abuse, crime and low self-worth. A role of this nature will experience a range of emotions from joy to grief and as such requires a high degree of resilience to cope with the emotional demands of the role.
Making decisions, “in the moment” to do the right thing to mitigate risk with service users can place high emotional demands on the job holder. The role is highly reactive, unpredictable and at times, chaotic. The role therefore requires a high degree of self-awareness to one’s own resilience levels and exercising appropriate levels of self-care.

Role Description
Service Delivery
Using frontline practical and procedural knowledge of working with complex service users to support them to engage with health care services during their housing vulnerability. This could include, but is not limited to;
- Assisting them in addressing housing, financial, health or wellbeing needs
- Accompanying them to appointments
- Connecting them with appropriate support services such as substance misuse services or food banks
- Collaborating with agencies such as the local authority, housing providers and support services
- Advocating on behalf of the service user to access medical care, housing and benefits.
- Maintaining regular contact, a listening ear and emotional support during times of crisis
- Helping increase their self-confidence and self-efficacy to improve their chances of moving on from homelessness
- Manage own calendar to deliver a caseload during periods of work-related pressure, including actively pursuing the project outcomes set for the project and individual clients.

Job Purpose
Carers Manchester Contact Point (CMCP) is the first point of contact for unpaid carers seeking information, advice and support to help them with their caring role.
The service delivers a free confidential helpline for carers weekdays (Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm). These times are subject to change, based on the needs and requirements of carers using the service.
The aim of this role is to be part of a team providing a comprehensive information, advice and support to carers in Manchester. The post holder will work alongside colleagues from Gaddum and potentially other organisations to be the first contact in a busy service providing advice via a telephone advice line and managing referrals made through digital sources. They will provide information and advice and refer more complex issues to the appropriate agencies delivering the Manchester Carers Pathway.
Key responsibilities
Advice giving
- Answering telephone calls into a central helpline offering support and guidance to unpaid carers in Manchester.
- Provide relevant and meaningful support and information to unpaid carers utilising internal and external resources.
- Inform carers about carers assessments and refer where necessary.
- Inform carers about emergency grants available and refer where necessary.
- Ensure all advice and support given is delivered in a timely manner to suit the needs of carers calling the helpline whilst balancing waiting callers.
Follow-up support
- Refer unpaid carers to local services to access local and culturally appropriate support in their area.
- Refer carers to Adult Social Care for Carers Assessments to discuss and improve their caring situation.

Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service (Rising Sun) is an independent charity in Kent working to prevent domestic abuse and improve the lives of survivors and their children suffering from its effects. Our team provide a range of services to adults and children who’ve experienced domestic abuse. We understand the impact of domestic abuse on survivors and so we listen to individual needs and respond in a trauma informed way. We provide one-to-one support and also deliver therapeutically informed group programmes to help survivors to recognise healthy/unhealthy behaviours in relationships and to understand the impact of domestic abuse. As a Rising Sun Administrator you will be a key member of our frontline team working alongside specialist domestic abuse workers and providing essential support as a valued member of the team.

Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision. Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. Our technology
We've got complex needs: recording, monitoring and reviewing information about our clients, with their informed consent. Our in-house web application acts as an electronic patient record, a case management system, a quality management system, and more - it's grown over the last 15 years!

Monmouthshire Families Together is a service created in partnership between Barnardo's and Monmouthshire County Council. Families Together are dedicated to working with families where they have a child living with them who is subject to a Care Order where the case is held by the Monmouthshire Local Authority Social Work teams. All of our referrals are provided by the child or young person's case-holding Social Worker.
The team has experience of working with children and their families within Child Protection, with children who are Looked After, court proceedings, education and fostering and are experienced in delivering interventions in childhood trauma, domestic abuse, attachments and many parenting interventions. Families Together also have their own Therapy Team who are able to provide advice and support to you. This support may simply need to be a conversation or it may be felt that you would benefit from some face to face therapeutic intervention.
We work with families that have a child in their care under the auspices of a Care Order – whether that be children placed with parents under Care Planning, Placement and Case Review (Wales) Regulations, or kinship foster carers. We provide direct work interventions to progress care plans to discharge of Care Orders and/or applications for SGOs. We provide quality assessments to consider whether discharge of care orders and/or if a Special Guardianship Order (SGO) is a viable option in order to best meet the needs of the child. We also provide an Active Offer of Support to all known SGO carers in the Monmouthshire area till a child is 18.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Caseworker to join the Specialist Domestic Abuse Service based in Rochdale, working 37.5 hours a week.
We are looking for someone who likes to make a difference every day, who wants to support victims of domestic abuse to recover and live a life free from harm, someone who can work effectively within a multi-agency setting to achieve positive outcomes for the victim.
You will be part of a busy team and the first point of contact for all victims who are referring into our services. This role is telephone based, so you must be confident at speaking over the phone and have advanced skills in recording records, outcomes and data in a computerised case management database.

About the role:
This role is office based with the flexibility to work from home occasionally.
As a case worker you will provide advocacy & support to victims of domestic violence. You will provide specialist help to reduce the risk of further abuse and prevent escalation. You will contact clients over the telephone to assess their needs and offer support.
