The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.
As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will be responsible for strategising and carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. There is scope to explore further fundraising activites including events, corporate and community fundraising. You will play a central role and work closely with our operations team, as well as recieving expert monthly mentoring from a senoir fundraising consultant.
This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Fridays which is when staff meetings are held.

About the role:
The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day running of the global operations of Reprieve UK and Reprieve US and our work around the globe.
They will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, overseeing, and evaluating the systems, processes and relationships that enable caseworkers, fellows, and consultants to do the challenging work that they do as efficiently, safely and effectively as possible. They will help devise creative solutions to build a flexible and supportive environment in which staff can carry out their work.
The Head of Operations will work closely with and supervise the work of the HR Operations Manager and the Office and Executive Support Officer. Reporting to a member of the Senior Management Team, they will provide support to the Joint Executive Directors as well as broader staff team, Fellows and consultants.

This role also oversees accounts payable and the annual audit for our sister organisation Reprieve US (working with our US based US qualified accountant).
You are a positive person with a can-do attitude, extensive experience in operations management and security risk management, experience of managing or supervising individuals and teams, proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and a strong problem solver.
The Operations team is a small team that works collaboratively to ensure all areas are covered at all times. As such, you will be willing to chip in and take on tasks of other team members if urgent matters arise or when providing holiday cover.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency and when required as part of the security risk management framework (for example to monitor extreme risk trips).

QuarterFive are delighted to be partnering with The Orpheus Centre, which supports young disabled adults to live and work as independently as they are able. They do this through developing their confidence and independent living skills, using arts-based, bespoke learning, work experience and supported living programmes delivered from their base in Surrey. All of their learners are learning disabled and some are also physically disabled.
The Orpheus Centre is located at a beautiful converted farm that provides teaching and performance spaces and self-contained accommodation. However, their success in enabling these young people to thrive means that they are over subscribed every year and have outgrown the current facilities.
The capital appeal will convert a building next to the Centre to allow for more learners to enrol, in particular more learners with more complex needs. Currently, the quiet phase is projected for 2024-2027, with the build phase being projected for 2027-2029.
The Head of Capital Appeal will sit on the SMT, reporting to the CEO, and be responsible for leading a small team of fundraisers also dedicated to raising funds for the build. While there will be a team to support, the Head of Capital Appeal will spend most of their time personally fundraising as well. There are existing opportunities, including a well-connected President (also the Founder), a Capital Appeal Committee which will be set up, and an existing pool of donors. A focus on new business, however, will also be crucial for the success of the project.
As Head of Capital Appeal, you will:
- Develop, implement and monitor the private and public phases of the capital appeal strategy to enable the Orpheus Centre to meet the appeal target
- Establish a high performing capital appeal committee of volunteers to cultivate and steward potential significant donors
- Deliver target income from a range of sources, primarily major donors, trusts and foundations and statutory sources, but not discounting other viable income streams
- Personally secure significant major gifts for the capital project
- Design, recruit and lead a team of fundraisers to support on fundraising for the capital project
- Research and identify potential funders for the capital project
- Work closely with the build project team, to ensure clear communication between the funding and the building of the project
- Provide timely reports for Senior Management Team and Trustees to facilitate effective cash flow management and decision making
Ideal skills and experience:
- Significant experience in a senior high value fundraising role
- Demonstrable experience of securing 5- and 6-figure major gifts
- Extensive track record in working with trusts, major donors and statutory funders
- Experience of line managing teams of fundraisers

Liberty is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to undertake a number of interesting short-term projects for a fixed term of 12 months to improve the efficiency of its operations. The Infrastructure Manager will work closely with the Head of HR & Operations, Finance and Operations Director and external contacts to critically review several support systems and databases and recommend improved infrastructure at Liberty.

The Maypole Project is in an exciting phase of development.
This role needs to ensure that the Maypole Model of therapeutic support is delivered effectively, with maintained high-quality standards and associated appropriate resource levels. Working to The Maypole Project vision of availability of our therapies to everyone who needs it reaching across the UK through appropriate outreach.

We are seeking to recruit a Communications Manager to lead on the development and delivery of PILC’s communications strategy with an aim to grow the organisation’s profile, increase the reach and influence of our work and develop supporter engagement.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Communications Manager to help us increase the impact of our work through cross-channel communications and grow the organisation’s profile to match the quality of the legal work we conduct. You will be joining at an exciting time when there is already some infrastructure in place but plenty of opportunity to make your mark on the development of our organisational approach to communications. You will work closely with the Director to develop and implement a cross-organisational communications strategy to extend our reach, brand awareness and increase donations. You will join a dedicated staff team who are all passionate about building power with working class and marginalised communities. You will be expected to work closely with staff across the organisation, supporters and the communities we serve, co-ordinating and delivering effective organisation wide communications. A demonstrable interest in social justice campaigning is essential.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and creative communications all-rounder with a track record of implementing communications strategies for social change. You’ll be an effective project manager, able to work proactively and collaboratively with staff across the organisation to showcase the vital work colleagues in the litigation team conduct out of the spotlight. You will be confident in working with a variety of stakeholders, including journalists, lawyers and marginalised communities. You will be proactive, able to build and maintain relationships, develop effective cross-channel communications and manage a varied workload. You will be both able and happy to turn your hand to strategic thinking alongside day-to-day delivery, such as copy-editing news pieces for our website or writing press releases. You’ll be engaged with social justice campaigning and social media with an ability to identify and take advantage of relevant communications opportunities.

The Development Manager (Individual Giving) will focus on increasing donations from individual supporters. Working closely with the Head of Development and CEO, you'll be responsible for growing donation schemes for individual supporters, stewarding major donors, delivering public fundraising appeals and promoting opportunities for supporters to make gifts in wills.
We look to recruit a candidate excited to take responsibility for their own area of work as part of a small team. We will consider strong applicants with previous experience in fundraising / development or transferable skills and knowledge from customer-facing roles in other sectors.
This is a full time permanent position with a minimum of 3 days based on site. We are open to flexible working arrangements including part time working and compressed hours.

Key duties
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of individual supporters
- Plan and deliver a year-round programme of supporter events encouraging donors to engage with our work
- Implement supporter stewardship systems with the aim of retaining and increasing support
- Assist with the planning and delivery of annual individual giving campaigns
- Process and acknowledge donations and Gift Aid claims on CRM system (Spektrix)
- Support with researching and drafting briefing documents for prospect and supporter meetings
- Develop strong internal relationships to help promote the work of the Development team
- Represent the organisation at fundraising sector events
Essential
- Experience of organising events to engage or steward supporters, clients or customers
- Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of supporter relationships or customer accounts
- Experience of delivereing supporter or customer journeys leading to increased support and engagement
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to analyse customer feedback
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
