You will be a key member of the Data & Insights team, responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, complies with all relevant legislation and helps the wider team to make informed data driven decisions.

You will be responsible for helping with the daily management and administration of the Dynamics CRM system and integrations with other systems, with a particular emphasis on supporting CPRE’s fundraising, supporter care, and campaigning activities. You will ensure data accuracy through regular data cleaning, improvements, and de-duplication processes.

In addition, you will provide timely and accurate data selections and create visual reports to support various organisational needs.

Using your mathematical knowledge and statistical tools you will analyse data, providing interpretation and understanding the numbers within the models. Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.

You will also work closely with the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent analytical and processing skills who wants to take their first step in an analytical career.

 Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is the dedicated NHS hospital charity for Cambridge University Hospitals, also fondly known locally as Addenbrooke’s. The Charity works to fund projects and facilities that are beyond the boundaries of the NHS to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes in patient experience, clinical care, research and education - helping to find potential cures and save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.

Addenbrooke’s has embarked on a bold journey of transformation. As part of this, two brand-new hospitals will be built: the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital. These two specialist hospitals are being designed with patients at their heart and will combine first-class clinical expertise with world-class biomedical research to transform care for cancer patients and children regionally, nationally and internationally.  

To make this vision a reality, ACT has embarked upon two ambitious multi-year, multi-million pound philanthropic campaigns to support the development of these two new hospitals. It is rare to have one project with an ambition of this kind, and so for two to be built at the same time, no stone must be left unturned and the Charity are looking for two ambitious new fundraisers who shares a passion for their cause, one with a focus on individual philanthropists and the other with a focus on strategic partnerships.

The role of Senior Philanthropy Lead is a critical one for the Charity, driving income from individuals with the capacity to give at the six and seven figure level. Reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy and managing two Philanthropy Leads, the postholder will take over a multi-million pound pipeline, whilst also driving new business. This role is fixed-term for two years.

The role of Senior Trusts & Strategic Partnerships Lead is a brand-new, permanent position and an essential one in helping to seek and grow significant philanthropic partnerships for the Charity. Reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy and managing a Trusts Lead, the postholder will refine and implement the fundraising strategy and develop a priority prospect list of trusts and grants.

In both cases, candidates will be a motivated and experienced fundraising professionals who can hit the ground running and lead by example. The Policy Officer will collaborate with the Policy Team and Sin Fronteras’ Young Women’s Advisory Board to advance LAWRS’ Step Up Migrant Women campaign for young migrant women and girls.

The Policy Officer for Young Women and Girls will have strong communication, advocacy skills in the area of young migrant women and girls, political judgement, and networking abilities. You must be dedicated to addressing inequality and violence against women and girls.

The main duties of this post include:

1. To develop, plan and implement a policy, advocacy and campaign strategy on the needs of young migrant women and girls, based on the findings from the Young Women’s Advisory Board (YWAB) reports.

2. To influence positive change at the local, London, and national levels in the focus areas of the campaign.

You will have an excellent command of English, and Spanish and/or Portuguese.

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join this charitable programme based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with a mission of working in partnership to improve healthcare globally.

Position: Fundraising Officer

Nottingham Hospitals Charity is looking for a Community Fundraiser to join the team and play a crucial role in growing our community fundraising income. The team needs an energetic and confident communicator who enjoys building long lasting relationships with supporters and wants to make real impact for our amazing local NHS hospitals.

Working to support Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, this varied role will support on the delivery of a diverse portfolio of community partners, supporters and events. The successful candidate will have a friendly and engaging personality and enjoy engaging people face to face, over the phone and via email.

As a small, dynamic team, we have big ambitions to build on this income stream and grow our community income in the coming years. The role will entail identifying, managing and growing a portfolio of community supporters to help us deliver our fundraising ambitions.

You could be an individual who is already successfully working in fundraising or perhaps has been inspired to make the leap into the third sector with transferable experience. Above all, you must be energetic, target-driven and able to communicate with real passion and influence.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Senior Community Fundraising Manager, you will grow our community income by recruiting and managing community supporters to drive our fundraising efforts across our key campaigns, lead and motivate individuals to take part in fundraising activities, turning conversations into lasting relationships that support our amazing local NHS hospitals.

Working primarily with community supporters, the post-holder will also need to work closely with our Corporate, Individual Giving and Legacy, Comms and Marketing colleagues in support of our overall objectives.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and cultivate a portfolio of community supporters and prospects to grow income
   
• Build multi-layered stewardship plan that secures long-term support and offers excellent customer service
   
• Build year-round cultivation and stewardship event plan for individual supporters and community groups
   
• Support Senior Community Fundraising Manager to develop and implement annual community fundraising action plans to grow income, generate new leads and manage ongoing relationships
   
• Conduct prospect research to identify best prospects and plan approaches to introduce the Charity to secure support, to include Charity of the Year partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
   
• Proactively cultivate and develop relationships with new community supporters and develop relationships with existing donors to secure ongoing support
   
• Provide effective relationship management and stewardship to demonstrably increase retention of community donors
   
• To promote and help co-ordinate NHC volunteering opportunities
   
• Think creatively to develop fundraising initiatives to encourage community supporters to engage with Nottingham Hospitals Charity quickly and easily
   
• Identify opportunities to secure Nottingham Hospitals Charity as the beneficiary for community charity events
   
• Support with the planning and execution of events and opportunities for community partners to showcase our work and engage with new supporters
   
• To ensure the meticulous recording of all data on Raiser’s Edge and filing systems (including personal data and financial information)
   
• To work with Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s fundraising, administrative and IT systems and guidelines
   
• To represent Nottingham Hospitals Charity internally and externally as required
   
• To regularly work outside of regular office hours
   
• To undertake any other duties, which may be reasonably required

The Commonwealth Foundation is committed to bringing Commonwealth civil society and its citizens into the centre of discussion and decision-making around critical issues that affect their lives.  The Foundation’s advocacy and creative work is central to that mission. With a small team we seek to make an outsize contribution to change in relation to our areas of strategic focus of climate justice, health justice and freedom of expression.

The Programme Officer (PO) will be part of a five-person team, working under the direction of the Senior Programme Manager to advance the Foundation’s advocacy and creative work across and around our three thematic areas. The Programme Officer will play a leading role in integrating creativity into the Foundation’s advocacy work while making an important contribution to our flagship creative programmes. This role will design and deliver events, such as the Commonwealth People’s Forum and the Critical Conversations series, and support other advocacy initiatives.

The Programme Officer will also support our intergovernmental liaison and external outreach, maintaining effective relationships with the Commonwealth Secretariat and other key partners. They will also help shape and deliver the Programme’s creative output, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, while actively embedding creativity across our advocacy work.

Key responsibilities of the Programme Officer include:

• Contribute to the design, delivery, synthesis, monitoring and evaluation of our online and in-person advocacy events, working with the Creative Lead to ensure full integration of creativity into our work.
• As a member of the Core CPF Team, contribute to the planning and delivery of the Foundation’s flagship biennial event, the Commonwealth People’s Forum.
• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of our engagement in other Commonwealth and global policy spaces.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cross-programme advocacy strategies, in collaboration with the other Foundation programmes, providing a platform for civil society to engage and influence Commonwealth institutions and Member States.
• Develop a capacity to provide back-up support for the delivery of the Foundation’s creative output, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize.
• Work collaboratively with the Foundation’s Communications team on outreach and delivery of the advocacy objectives and activities.

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER 

Reports To:     Communications Manager
Hours: Full Time (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week)
Location: The Frances Hay Centre, Banbury (Hybrid Options Available)
Salary:  £32,000 per annum 

We’re Dogs for Good. We bring people and dogs together to help make everyday life possible. As part of our ambitious five-year strategy to support over 4,000 people a year by 2028, we’re expanding our Marketing and Communications Team and looking for a Senior Communications Officer to help share our impact.

This role will ensure our stories and impact are understood, celebrated and championed by all our stakeholders across multiple channels. You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, understanding of all aspects of internal and external comms, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
