This is an excellent role where you’ll manage your own portfolio of trusts and statutory supporters at 4-5 figure level and given exposure to manage 6 figure accounts. As Trusts and Statutory Executive, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of trust and statutory funders at 4-5 figure level supporting a team target of £6m
• Research, identify and cultivate new charitable trust grant funders to build the funding pipeline
• Manage and grow an existing pipeline of charitable trusts, with a focus on increasing grant giving
• Lead on small and medium-value funding applications and reapplications across NLT’s programmes

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Fundraising experience in trusts, corporate, community development, education or health charity

PWS is a complex genetic disorder characterised by low muscle tone and failure to thrive at birth, and later evidence of short stature, intellectual disabilities, behavioural and psychiatric challenges and impaired satiety.

Main purpose and scope of role

Working closely with the President and the Board of Trustees, the CEO will provide strategic vision and leadership and will strive to ensure that IPWSO delivers its charitable purposes and remains successful and sustainable.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Leadership

· Strive to ensure that the charitable purposes of IPWSO are followed and that it delivers the public benefit set out in its governing document.

· Take overall responsibility for the management and administration of IPWSO.

· Provide support and information to the Board of Trustees to enable trustees to fulfil their roles and legal responsibilities.

· Pursue close cooperation with, and accountability to, IPWSO’s members.

· Act as an ambassador for IPWSO by representing IPWSO at events and networking to build new strategic relationships.

Position

This role is part of a small team that forms the secretariat for two vibrant, dynamic networks of mission-driven asset owners: the Charities Responsible Investment Network (CRIN) and the Responsible Investment Network – Universities (RINU). We support members to align their investments with their social and environmental missions and values through a tailored programme of networking, advocacy and educational activities. The networks are unique spaces, enabling members to collaborate, share best practice and be leaders at the cutting edge of thinking around what it means to be a responsible investor.

You will make a significant contribution to our team by supporting the design and delivery of our annual workplan for CRIN and RINU and engaging members to participate in network activities. You will be key to ensuring the smooth running of the secretariat, including monitoring and evaluation to ensure that our work is as impactful as possible.

The secretariat sits in ShareAction’s Investor Engagement team, which engages with a range of actors to develop and drive up standards of responsible investment. You will work closely with the Senior Engagement Manager (Asset Owner Networks), who manages the work of the networks, and with the Senior Research Manager (Investors), who supports members to leverage research and analysis, and engage with their financial service providers, such as asset managers and consultants.

In this fast-paced role, on a day-to-day basis, you might be:

• Designing new projects (such as an educational workshop or advocacy initiative) for our annual workplan of activities.
• Responding to enquiries from and holding meetings with members or prospective members (foundations, trusts, operational charities, universities and colleges).
• Organising quarterly member meetings, as well as other workshops on topics such as participatory decision-making in investment, artificial intelligence and responsible investment, or divestment and the arms trade (scheduling, agenda drafting, note taking, facilitating discussions and coordinating follow-up actions).
• Writing case studies or articles to showcase the cutting-edge work of members.
• Conducting small research tasks and drafting discussion papers to inform members of responsible investment approaches and best practice.
• Sending emails to members informing them of relevant events, news and research.
• Designing and sending surveys to collect data on members and their impacts.
• Updating records, including information on members and their investments, their participation in network activities, and their payment of invoices.

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. • experience of frontline care for people in crisis with acute vulnerabilities and risks (desirable but not essential) 

• comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in the criminal justice system (desirable but not essential) 

• research and advocacy skills – you get crucial things done through liaison with external agencies 

• significant resilience, and willingness to be professionally developed and clinically supervised 

• a full UK driving licence, with access to your own transport and are willing to use it for work purposes (we reimburse travelling expenses).

Candidates must be able to speak Welsh. You will be expected to support families who are first language Welsh.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Trust Fundraising Manager with proven experience, to maximise income for Whizz Kidz services from Trusts and Foundations through researching new funding opportunities, creating high quality applications with Service staff and stewarding existing warm funders effectively. 

The Role

As Trust Fundraising Manager you will secure new funding opportunities and work on a pool of warm and cold charitable Trusts with a focus on the £10,000 to £40,000 range.  The role involves researching and qualifying prospects, submitting high quality funding applications and stewarding existing donors effectively. It will also involve managing reporting deadlines and matching potential donors to projects needing to be fundraised for, collaborating with our Service Teams. 

You will prepare applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You will match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach.

The person

You will have experience of: Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills; Solid prospect research skills to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a forward pipeline of applications; Of working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas; Stewardship of warm funders including preparing donor reports, reviewing financial reports and gathering case studies. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

About you 

As our Senior Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible to secure strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships that align with Save the Children's organisational goals and our 2030 vision. You will work cross-functionally with Programmes, Advocacy, and Marketing teams to craft innovative propositions that meet corporate interests while maximising the full value of their contributions – both financial and non-financial. 

The team is at an exciting phase of our journey, we are building on our success to grow our amazing work for children. With such breadth to our work and partnerships focusing on anything from health, education and child protection to climate, emergencies, brand building, and innovative finance - an appetite for learning is key.  

In this role, you will: 

• Contribute to our team's annual target of £4 million by securing high-value corporate partnerships. 

• Optimise financial and non-financial support from corporate partners, leveraging their resources for maximum impact. 

• Create and implement ambitious sector strategies, delivering bespoke partnership proposals that address corporate challenges and opportunities. 

• Proactively identify and engage with potential partners, expanding your network and attending external events to generate new business leads. 

• Produce high-quality, tailored proposals that resonate with business interests while advancing Save the Children's mission. 

• Support a thriving business development environment by mentoring peers and maintaining high standards within the team. 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Significant experience of securing ambitious, multi-dimensional corporate partnerships in the private or third sector. 

• Demonstrable experience of the approach needed to win partnerships of £500k and above. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include face-to-face and on the phone, effective proposal writing and correspondence to internal and external audiences. 

• The ability to think creatively and to develop tailor made proposals to meet corporate and Save the Children objectives. 

• The ability to build relationships and influence others internally and externally. 

• A team player approach and supportive attitude.

Ways of Working:

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).  This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.

Hybrid working - 4 roles available; located in North, Midlands, East and South of England regions.

We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region. 
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.

The opportunity

The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.

Responsibilities

The key requirements of the role are:

 Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Lead the recruitment process for IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders in assigned regions.

• Collaborate with local services to identify staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

• Support services by conducting interviews, shortlisting, and making hiring recommendations.

• Identify where IPS services can coordinate, combine recruitment efforts and facilitate links to ensure a joined-up approach.

• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-fidelity IPS services.

Training and Development:

• Deliver comprehensive training programs for new IPS Employment Specialists.

• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new hires during their first year.

• Identify and address training needs, offering additional resources and workshops as necessary.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback.

• Enrol IPS workforce members in e-learning training programmes and the accredited qualification.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders, including IPS services, ICBs leads and NHS Regional Leads.

• Support with workforce planning with services.

• Attend and contribute to regional meetings, sharing insights and updates on workforce development initiatives.

Quality Assurance and Reporting:

• Ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and training processes align with IPS Grow's quality assurance standards.

• Collect and analyse data related to workforce development activities, providing regular reports to the Workforce Manager.

• Identify challenges and propose solutions to improve recruitment and training outcomes.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Regional Managers and Regional Leads to ensure joined up and timely support for services in the region.

• Work closely with the Workforce Manager and other Workforce Leads to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

• Contribute to internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and presentations.

About you 

·Recruitment Expertise. Proven experience of recruitment within the healthcare system or substantial involvement in healthcare-related recruitment is essential. This includes interviewing, evaluating candidates and making hiring recommendations.

·Training and Development Expertise. Experience in delivering training programs and workshops, with a focus on adult learning principles and effective onboarding practices.

·Bility to influence others. You will work directly with IPS services to support their recruitment of IPS workers, therefore strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are essential. You will need the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

·Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, create project plans, and meet deadlines.

·Problem-Solving Abilities: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand challenges and develop effective solutions.
