Lead and coordinate outreach activities and interventions in educational settings across 6 boroughs to deliver suicide prevention and mental health messages, awareness raising, promotion of services and support available. As a Suicide Prevention Coordinator, you will be a key member of our team and a valued and respected part of our service. You will deliver successful coordination of Suicide Prevention campaigning, education and interventions across South West London boroughs. Income Generation and Development Officer
We are looking for an experienced individual who will:
- Contribute to the development of an overarching fundraising plan
- Review and develop current fundraising channels and plan, support and deliver imaginative fundraising activities
- Prepare relevant communication materials to support their role.
- Coordinate and write applications to grant makers to maximise the grant potential of the Archdiocese.

Contract and Salary
This role is permanent and full-time with a salary of circa £40,000.00.
Location
Base office will be Saint Margaret Clitherow Centre. Croxteth Drive, Liverpool, L17 1AA.
Working Hours
Contracted hours are 35 per week.
Annual leave
33 days which includes eight bank/public holidays plus 5 gifted days during Christmas and Easter closedown. There is the option to purchase additional annual leave.
Pension
Employees will be enrolled into the People’s Pension Scheme with a contribution rate of 3% and 5% contributed by the employer. The Archdiocese will match employee contributions up to 6% of their pensionable salary.

The hospice offers a 14-bedroom ward for patients who need round the clock care as well as a Wellbeing service – in total The Prince of Wales Hospice cares for over 300 people a year!
The care provided at The Prince of Wales Hospice concentrates on quality of life and the alleviation of distressing psychological, spiritual, physical and social symptoms. It also includes support in bereavement. To provide this care, they have a highly skilled team with a wide range of specialisms.
Despite costing £12,000 a day to run the hospice and £4m a year, all of the services are entirely free of charge to patients and their families. We are looking for an experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to join the fundraising team at this fabulous hospice.
The Role
As Individual Giving Fundraiser you will be responsible for planning and executing appropriate in-memory, legacy and general mailed appeals & marketing campaigns. Duties will include:
- Building a plan to promote in-mem & celebration fundraising
- Working collaboratively with the Fundraising and Marketing Teams delivering campaigns and communications across all channels to maximise income streams
- Managing legacy administration, building and stewarding strong, mutually beneficial relationships with solicitors, will writers, spiritual leaders and funeral directors
- Actively contributing to the development of the Income Generation Business Plan and budgets
- Working with Local Hospice Lottery (liaising with 3rd party provider) to increase the number of venues & players
The Person
To be successful in this extremely exciting role we are looking for an experienced and personable fundraiser. You will possess excellent writing and communication skills, along with experience of using a customer relationship management database and knowledge of fundraising CRM.
Experience of creating engaging appeals with budgets and on time is desirable as is experience line managing or supervising staff or volunteers. You will be willing and able to independently travel to external meetings and events and have the ability to show empathy with good emotional intelligence. Maintaining a positive professional approach when representing the Hospice will be essential at all times.

Job Purpose
The Community Engagement Officer will work as a core part of our Service Delivery team. The role will lead work to coordinate and deliver community-based activities, using evidence-based approaches, to support early diagnosis of germ cell cancer. They will engage younger adults face-to-face (through a variety of methods including training, awareness raising and outreach activities) to provide information on germ cell cancers, cancer prevention, self-examinations, and early signs and symptoms.

- To build a deeper and more localised understanding of the population in their region and develop effective approaches to engage communities of younger adults who may be underserved by cancer education in order to break down barriers to early presentation.
- To deliver key cancer-related health messages through a variety of methods, for example providing cancer education and awareness presentations to community groups, community talks and delivery of awareness-raising activities.
- To support other public health initiatives and cancer awareness outreach activities across their region.
- To develop awareness of signs and symptoms of germ cell cancers amongst young adults and encourage people to seek earlier medical intervention.
- To support recruitment of Survivor Ambassador Volunteers and support them to be involved with cancer awareness activity where appropriate.

About the Council
The role of Council is to lead on the GOC’s mission to protect the public by upholding high standards in the optical professions. The Council is composed of six lay members (including the Chair) and six registrant members (i.e. registered optometrists and dispensing opticians). At least one member of the Council must work wholly or mainly in each of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. One Council member acts as a Senior Council Member whose role is to carry out the Chair’s appraisal as well as provide a sounding board for the Chair and serve as an intermediary for Council members, Executive and stakeholders as necessary.
The successful candidate will contribute to Council by exercising oversight, ensuring effective corporate governance, and making high-level policy decisions. They will be able to operate strategically and impartially; listen, communicate, and influence effectively; exercise judgment; and inspire confidence and support amongst our stakeholders.
Remuneration and time commitment
Council members are remunerated in accordance with our member fees policy (£13,962 per annum plus reasonable travel and subsistence expenses) which is linked in the candidate pack. The member fee includes time for reading and preparation.
The appointed member will be expected to commit approximately 2-3 days per month. Meetings will usually take place via MS Teams but may on occasion be held at the GOC Offices at 10 Old Bailey, London, EC4M 7NG. There are occasional online catch-up meetings - these are currently scheduled on a Tuesday evening every 6-8 weeks, from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.

As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will lead on policy issues related to access to treatments, including the availability of medicines, tests, technologies and care models. About this role
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will ensure that communications and marketing priorities are implemented across the organisation to build brand awareness and reputation, increase reach and engagement across key stakeholder groups (funders, learners, coordination bodies, strategic partners), support fundraising activities, as well as contribute to RedR’s positioning within relevant sectors.The post holder will have exceptional communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and an interest in learning and development within RedR’s thematic areas.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of yearly comms and marketing plan with support from Associate Director of Business Development and Programmes
- Produce regular website, social media and communications content as well as newsletters to maintain engagement and improve our reach across our members, supporters, funders and other target audiences
- Website maintenance and improvements in coordination with relevant staff, centralising efforts to ensure the functionality of the website and key integrations with third party platforms
- Support programme staff with creation of new resources and materials for our projects Support fundraising efforts including public appeals through content development, design and project management with external suppliers

Social Media and website
- Maintain and build RedR UK’s social media presence, ensuring social media channels are populated with engaging content with a consistent, strong voice reflecting RedR’s strategy to maximise potential for exposure among target audiences
- Manage a calendar of social media and website activity
- Work with the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development to create and develop campaigns (including fundraising and awareness raising campaigns) to be run across social media platforms
- Monitor and report on engagement, number of followers and website referrals to inform best practice for post timing and content
- Act as the primary point of contact for queries received through social media and inbound emails, ensuring they are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of RedR UK’s website, including making edits and creating new content
- Ensure the website content is proofread and accurate, and any broken links or errors are promptly corrected
- Website (wordpress) maintenance and improvements in coordination with relevant staff (and external developer where relevant), centralising efforts to ensure the functionality of the website and key integrations with third party platforms
- Work with external website developer to resolve issues with the website and further develop design of website to accommodate emerging needs.
Marketing
- Stay abreast of comms and marketing trends and propose new and innovative approaches to increase outreach, engagement and fundraising income
- Produce in-house marketing materials and templates including event brochures, proposal templates, illustrations for reports/proposals, graphics and videos using platforms such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint and other editing tools
- Produce and disseminate high quality regular newsletters, and support with production of speeches and letters
- Identify inspiring impact stories and produce written and occasional films case studies and other content for use by the Fundraising and Programmes teams, supporting
- Support programme teams wishing to undertake communications activities as part of a grant/funded project; ensure that institutional donors’ communications activities and visibility requirements are respected
- Lead on emergency communications, in close coordination with the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development
- Champion and monitor the use of RedR brand and style guidelines; to develop messaging guidelines and ensure they are adhered to across the organisation and to support other departments to develop their messaging and material.

- Lead and coordinate the drafting of RedR’s Annual Report, liaising with staff across the organisation for input

Smyth & Co is delighted to be exclusively partnering with Art History Link-Up, a widening participation education charity to find a Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role will play a crucial part in the strategic and operational leadership of Art History Link-Up. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, the COO will be responsible for overseeing the charity's day-to-day operations, as well as delivering income generation activities such as significant funding bids.
This role will involve working closely with the small team of three employees, managing resources, and driving the successful implementation of the strategic plan for growth. The COO will also act as a key support to the Founder and CEO, providing guidance on organisational development and helping to steer the Charity towards its long-term goals.
Some key responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership - Oversee the day-to-day operations of AHLU, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the charity's mission and strategic objectives.

About Art History Link-Up
Fewer than 1% of state schools offer History of Art A level yet the creative industries provided 2.4 million jobs and generated over £126 billion in 2022. We believe that art history shouldn’t belong to just the handful of people who currently have the opportunity to study it, but that every young person, regardless of background, should be able to enjoy and benefit from our rich visual culture
AHLU is a registered charity offering free courses for state students since 2016. Prior to the pandemic our classes were based at the National Gallery and the Wallace Collection. We moved our classes online as a result of the pandemic with great success. Since September 2022 we have been offering hybrid courses at the Courtauld Institute, Somerset House.
AHLU has taught art history to over 500 students from over 300 schools across the UK. Our alumni are now studying art history at Russell Group universities across the UK, including the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, and the Courtauld Institute.
Since 2022 we’ve been piloting, developing and expanding courses for younger secondary age students, in London and beyond. In 2024 onwards, we are piloting Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) courses, a student-directed qualification equivalent to up to half a GCSE, in collaboration with the Courtauld, Waddesdon Manor, and schools and centres in and outside London. We are working with an external evaluation consultant to ensure we record best practice and outcomes in our work.
We are working with communications consultant, Nadine Thompson, to deliver our ‘art history for everyone’ communications strategy and media campaign as we move towards our tenth anniversary in 2027.
