What you will do in the role:

• Work with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to implement the Society’s Digital Marketing plans to achieve overall marketing objectives.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns including email marketing and social media.
• Create compelling copy for the website, email campaigns, social media and other digital marketing materials.
• Manage the Society’s website, including developing, updating and monitoring content and images to ensure SEO maximisation and best practice. Liaise with the IT Project Manager and external developers for technical support where needed.
• Use persona research and analysis to develop the Society’s online presence and activity to increase reach and engagement with members and stakeholders.
• Plan, develop and oversee the production and repurposing of digital content including videos, podcasts and live streaming events, creating promotional, informational and thought leadership content.
• Oversee the design and production of printed material, branded assets and promotional items ensuring consistent implementation of the brand.
• Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure the Society’s digital marketing activities lead the way in delivering brand engagement, whilst ensuring alignment with the Society’s Brand Guidelines.
• Build strong, productive, collaborative working relationships internally and externally to support the delivery of the digital marketing strategy.

Essential skills and experience you will need to demonstrate:

• Degree or relevant marketing qualification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
• Experience of email marketing, social media (including advertising) and content marketing.
• Digital content design skills with experience in creating and repurposing digital content through applications such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Audition (or other equivalent.)
• Strong written communication. Able to write engaging copy across digital marketing channels.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills: self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workload and planning ahead.
• Able to think critically with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
• Previous experience of using marketing automation and CRM software.

Working from home, you'll support local businesses, individuals, and groups, empowering them to raise funds for a cause that truly matters.

In this role, you will develop, manage, and deliver fundraising activities within your region. From organising community and local business events to supporting volunteers, you will be responsible for creating meaningful and lasting relationships with fundraisers. A key part of your work will involve delivering fantastic supporter care. You'll also play an active role in public events, representing the charity, delivering presentations, and participating in local media interviews on behalf of the Association.

What are we looking for?

Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, as you'll be engaging with a wide range of supporters. We're looking for someone who is empathetic, able to understand and relate to different motivations, and who can build personalised relationships.

You should be familiar with CRM systems and GDPR guidelines, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all interactions. Flexibility and resilience are key, as you'll need to adapt to changing situations while staying motivated. A full clean driving licence and the ability to work some evenings and weekends are also required.

We're recruiting for a Senior Data Executive to join us and support the ongoing marketing and membership activities of British Heart Foundation (BHF).

About the role

As our Senior Data Executive, you’ll be ensuring effective data management for the BHF by extracting data for marketing communications, supporting data imports, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimise data quality. You’ll be responsible for marketing data extracts, maintaining data quality through CRM updates using an ETL tool, and championing data best practices while identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborating with fundraising and marketing teams to establish selection criteria for data extracts, you will ensure accurate and timely data exchange with suppliers, manage CRM database data, and resolve data quality issues. All this will ensure you gain a full understanding of customer requirements to achieve their desired outcomes and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our team by supporting and training members to maintain and enhance the CRM database. You’ll track team workload, develop efficient data management processes, oversee imports managed by Data Assistants, and gather feedback to continuously improve our processes.

Managing a small team, you'll ensure team performance and wellbeing driving team success.

Please note this is a fixed term until May 2026 covering a secondment.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dually located between your home and our London office.

About you

With proven previous experience running complex and large database selections in a busy direct marketing environment, you'll have experience ensuring complex and high-volume data quality and accuracy. You’ll have strong experience with Blackbaud CRM or similar systems, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and a proven track record in importing and exporting data with external agencies. Your attention to detail and strong numeracy skills will enable you to deliver high-quality data management.

Ideally, you will have a background in fundraising and have gained experience in providing data and interpretation to direct marketing teams for major campaigns, as well as writing SQL queries. You’ll also have a good standard of communication in both written and verbal forms and have experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver workloads to strict deadlines. You will be experienced managing multiple tasks and your own time, prioritising workload appropriately while remaining supportive to your team.

• Work collaboratively with data teams to ensure effective use of supporter profiling for delivery across a range of Retention campaigns
• Manage relationships with external agencies including media houses, designers and printers; to negotiate costs and relevant performance reviews
• Responsibility for collation of all KPI tracking, trend analysis and activity results that feed into the team’s reporting and performance structure

The Role

As B Lab UK’s Marketing Assistant, you'll be a key collaborator in our small and dynamic marketing team. You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager to execute and enhance our marketing strategy. • Support the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy, through executing marketing activities, from e-newsletters to product launches.

• Contribute to the monitoring and optimisation of Google Ads, ensuring that ad copy is aligned with our brand guidelines and tailored to our audiences

• Draft audience profiles, aligning with key personas, to inform and guide copywriting efforts across paid media campaigns.

• Create compelling copy for user-facing channels including the website and newsletters to develop new and existing buy-in for the movement.

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?

We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.

As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. In doing so, you will use your digital communications skills for the better, contributing to the success of the movement and supporting young people to access transformational educational opportunities they would otherwise not have dreamt of.

Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies. Alongside your business-as-usual tasks, you will support the Digital Communications Manager in coordinating with the advancement and admissions teams at each of the 18 UWC schools to run ad-hoc campaigns and manage external stakeholders and partners.

About the Investment Team

The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.

The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 5). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.

The Investment Team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

Job description – Investment Director

The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.

Investment Directors use strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and senior relationship skills to support a portfolio of amazing organisations that, together, will help shift the life chances and outcomes of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK.

Key responsibilities

Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio

• Identifying potential charitable organisations for investment.
• Leading in-depth due diligence process to assess and build partnership foundations with potential partners – covering leadership and governance, and their impact, scale, and partnership potential.
• Modelling from first contact of origination, our approach to engaged and trust-based investment management support.
• Developing and championing high quality investment propositions to our Investment Committee.

Managing partnerships with portfolio partners

• Managing relationships with partner Chairs and CEOs 
• Agreeing Service Funding Agreements, including appropriate annual investment milestones to allow for a clear assessment of re-investment potential at end of phase 
• Regularly monitoring and assessing partner progress / risks against milestones and making recommendations for progression or exit
• Escalating key risks on performance, leadership and safeguarding
• Conducting annual partnership review with Sector Leads and partner CEOs
• Working with Impetus Finance colleagues to ensure timely distribution of grant payments, in line with Service Funding Agreements.

Supporting portfolio partners

• Providing direct support to CEOs and senior colleagues on key strategic topics, using a mix of at least monthly one-to-one meetings and group facilitation to:
  • clarify theory of change
  • define long term ambition
  • develop growth strategy
  • achieve a step change in the delivery and performance management of outcomes
  • strengthen leadership (individual and collective) and governance capabilities
  • develop path to scale
  • build financial resilience
• Scoping and project managing pro bono capacity-building projects (in addition to providing direct management support). Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and contribute to charity progression
• Identifying engagement opportunities for our donors and supporters with charity partners that are aligned with the charity’s activities and do not distract or undermine their core work
• Collaborating with Impetus philanthropy team to develop new funding streams (additional to direct Impetus grant funding) that support our partners’ ability to deliver impact at scale

We Are Listening is a new charity, created to provide an alternative befriending service for
elderly, isolated and vulnerable people who may feel socially excluded. Our mission is to
help relieve their isolation and to assist their integration back into society by providing a
telephone and/or correspondence based befriending service.

 Management, development and service delivery of key programmes including Good Call
(our new telephone befriending service) and Postbox (a pen pal programme).

You will be a highly organised and motivated individual with excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills. You should also have knowledge and experience of working with a range of external suppliers and volunteers and have a proven ability to build relationships at all levels. Experience of using CRMs systems is also advantageous.

The Community Energy Adviser will deliver energy support sessions in local communities, empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support. The focus will be on assisting those facing challenges with their energy needs by providing practical advice, support, and advocacy on energy conservation, switching providers, and accessing grants or benefits. 

Fixed term until March 2026, 35 hours per week.

The hours for this role will be varied over shift patterns from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and may also include some Saturdays.

• Tracking and evaluating the impact of community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness. 

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of energy sector developments, including changes in legislation, available grants, and best practices in energy conservation.

Liberty is looking for a creative and strategic lawyer to join its legal team.  Strategic litigation is core to Liberty’s work.  Our lawyers work closely with the rest of the organisation using casework and legal advice to help Liberty reach its strategic goals.  You will be responsible for running a small caseload of strategic litigation, conducting interventions and providing specialist human rights advice.  A large part of the role is identifying and then scoping potential cases, working closely with other organisations to develop the litigation in a collaborative and creative way.

This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. You will need demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to work confidently as a strategic thinker and as a practical fundraiser. You will have developed your portfolio of fundraising skills over time within charities that work for social good and can demonstrate experiene in securing fundraising income particularly in securing five and six figure grants/donations. Experience of securing statutory funding will be essential. You will have experience of line managing junior fundraising staff and will be keen to develop your managerial responsibility.

You will be a confident and capable leader who will work with colleagues towards supporting an annual programme of circa £3m. This role is crucial to building the charity's long-term sustainability, with a focus on exploring innovative opportunities.

The role offers an exciting opportuinity for an experienced fundraising professional with a passion for tackling social problems particularly in child protection or related areas. It is a great opportunity to take the next step in your fundraising career and make an impact.
