Responsibilities

 Office and facilities administration

o  Liaison with office owners about accommodation, facilities, services and supplies to ensure smooth running of charity HQ.

o  Ordering office stationery and supplies.

o  Off-site storage oversight and organisation.

o  Printer supplier contract management.

o  Implementation of the Health and Safety action plan and obtaining landlord documentation on a timely basis.

o  Maintaining a log of laptops, organising new laptops where required and the return of laptops from leavers.

o  Maintaining company credit card and petty cash records.

 Lead responsibilities

Senior Leadership Team support

o  Researching, organising and booking travel.

o  Support for diary management.

o  Meeting venue sourcing research, organisation and booking.

o  Expenses administration.

o  Project implementation support as required.

o  Venue sourcing, travel, accommodation and refreshment support for staff and team away days as required.

Trustee Board support

o  DBS checks for new Trustees.

o  Updating Trustee induction pack.

o  Maintaining contact details.

o  Booking training for Trustees and maintaining Trustee training records.

o  Supporting Trustees travel to meetings, including researching and booking travel and accommodation.

o  Sending diary invites for Board and Committee meetings as required.

These responsibilities may change depending on the needs of the organisation and as agreed with the line manager.

Experience

Experience is sought in the following areas:

· General administration in a busy office environment, ideally with a dispersed workforce working in the office and at home throughout the UK.

· Meeting logistics organisation including venue identification; venue booking liaison; travel booking; accommodation booking.

· Processing confidential information about staff and partners in compliance with GDPR.

· Working with international partners would be ideal but not essential, including multiple cultures and currencies.

We urgently seek an experienced and dynamic Fundraiser to lead our fundraising efforts, ensuring the successful realization of this transformative initiative.

Role Summary:

The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the expansion project. This includes identifying and securing funding from diverse sources such as grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, foundations, and lotteries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising for large projects, excellent communication skills, and a strong network within the philanthropic community. Due to the urgency of this project, the candidate must be able to start immediately and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a detailed fundraising plan for the project.

- Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and lotteries.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.

- Prepare compelling funding proposals and presentations.

- Organize and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns.

- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, ensuring targets are met.

- Collaborate with the project team to align fundraising activities with project milestones.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in fundraising, particularly for large projects in the non-profit or care sector.

- Strong understanding of different fundraising methods and channels, including experience with foundations and lotteries.

- Demonstrated success in securing funding from grants, trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and lotteries.

Location:

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s Project Workers deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of women in the community of Manchester and Trafford, whilst delivering regular workshops to women in the community.

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to a caseload of women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system.
2. Undertake risk and needs assessments and co-producing bespoke support plans with women across the nine pathways to reoffending.
3. Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP policies.
4. Champion the core values of Women in Prison, including social justice and feminism in all internal and external communications, articulating their importance to the work we do.

The CoppaFeel! fundraising team is going through a very exciting period of growth! So we are looking for a passionate new team member to take on the role of Challenge Events Assistant.

The role of Challenge Events Assistant will sit within the CoppaFeel! Challenge Events team, in the Fundraising Department. You will work with both our Bespoke Challenge Events Manager and our Sporting Challenge Events Manager to support on CoppaFeel!’s challenge events portfolio. This includes our flagship ‘CoppaTrek!’ events that will look to bring in over £1.2 million in 2024, as well as our sporting events programme that includes London Landmarks Half Marathon, Vitality 10k, Royal Parks Half Marathon and Brighton Marathon - to name but a few! 

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all challenge events participants, providing excellent supporter experience and building relationships whilst offering motivation and fundraising advice. Alongside delivering outstanding supporter care, you will also handle essential administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations and so that our events go off without a hitch.

This role does require some evening and weekend work - although not behind the laptop! Instead you might be cheering on a team of runners at the sidelines of a marathon race, or lacing up your hiking boots, and walking and talking, alongside our CoppaTrek! participants. Therefore, please bear in mind that as part of this role, you will be expected to travel and may have to stay away from home on occasion. Should you be required to work on weekends, you will be entitled to time off in lieu.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office at least 2 days per week.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life. We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life.

Duties and Responsibilities

Third-Party Challenge Events 

• First point of call for event fundraisers. Responding to enquiries by phone, email, social media and at face-to-face events
• Ensure participants are entered into the event in a timely manner, ensuring there is an open line of communication for any questions or concerns
• Support with the recruitment of participants for challenge events - through social media campaigns, donor emails and in person events.
• Update the CoppaFeel! website with challenge event information and keep up to date with new events and opportunities
• Provide excellent supporter experience and build relationships with participants, whilst offering motivation, fundraising advice and ensure they reach their fundraising targets
• Support the Challenge Events Manager with the coordination of on the day cheer points for our big mass-participation events, working closely with the Volunteer Manager to recruit cheer squad volunteers
• Attend challenge events, sometimes out of office hours 

Bespoke Challenge Events (CoppaTrek!)

• Support the Bespoke Challenge Event manager with the planning and delivery of CoppaFeel!’s two flagship ‘CoppaTrek! with Gi’ events, and two one-day UK ‘CoppaTrek events!’
• Be the first point of contact for CoppaTrek! participants in the build up to, and following the event; including the sending of regular emails, phone calls, distribution of fundraising materials and the organisation of trekker Zoom meetups
• Send fundraising materials, incentives and merchandise to our trek participants
• Be willing to attend our treks in person, assisting the Challenge Events Manager with the smooth running of the event 

General Responsibilities

• Respond to a range of fundraising enquiries in a timely manner, liaising with supporters via email and over the phone as appropriate
• Send out ad hoc postal requests for Fundraising materials from CoppaFeel!’s office
• Maintain event database records and ensure supporter data is kept accurate and up to date 
• Manage volunteers and fundraisers effectively, inspiring them to support CoppaFeel! long term 
• Work and collaborate across all departments of CoppaFeel! to ensure our health messaging and core values are at the heart of everything we do
• Work flexibly and sometimes remotely, with occasional work outside core hours including weekends (time off in lieu given for weekend work)
• Adhere to GDPR requirements. 
• Participate in CoppaFeel! fundraising and full team meetings.

As a Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students with learning disabilities and or difficulties within the Station Road Training Centre provision. • Support the development and delivery of individual giving fundraising campaigns to optimise sustainable income and long-term value in line with the Charity’s newly agreed fundraising strategy. 

• Project manage activity designed to deliver warm engagement and supporter acquisition across all relevant channels - for example, social media, paid search, SMS, email, inserts and mail. 

• Collaborate with colleagues in the Data Management, Fundraising and Communications teams to ensure individual giving activity is appropriately supported. 

• Lead on data selections for Individual Giving fundraising campaigns to deliver the best long-term ROI and insightful testing; working closely with the Data team and ensuring that data is handled sensitively, confidentially and is GDPR compliant. 

• Support the Individual Giving team with forecasting and reporting across financial and non-financial KPIs in relation to the Individual Giving programme. 

• Support the Individual Giving team with the establishment and roll out of a Mid-Value donor fundraising programme. 

• Work collaboratively to ensure a seamless approach to the acquisition and development of donors, developing supporter journeys that encourage further engagement through other fundraising products and increasing lifetime value. 

 
We’re looking for the following skills & experience: 

• Demonstrable experience of project management across a range of direct marketing channels including print and digital. 

• Strong copywriting and creative writing skills. 

• Experience in researching content for fundraising and marketing materials. 

• Experience of working collaboratively with creative, print, digital & media agencies to get the best results. 

• Experience of using social media to target, communicate with and engage supporters. 

• Experience of supporting the planning and budgeting process within an individual giving context. 

• Experience of legacy marketing is desirable

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way. 

This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need it. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country. 

Climb are an Prevention and Early Intervention Service for 10-17 year old's who may vulnerable to criminal exploitation and/or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. We offer 1-1 outreach support and access to positive diversionary activities in their local areas.

This is an exciting role within an established and expanding service across West Mercia. There are a number of varied, practitioner roles that are set to increase. We are currently looking for a Exploitation Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team. 

This role will support young people at risk of criminal exploitation or entering the criminal justice system; at an early intervention level. This will be through 1-1, direct work and support in accessing positive diversionary activities, therefore reducing the risk. It will also require excellent mutli-agency work.

This role is for people with a passion in supporting vulnerable young people on a 1-1 basis, in raising their aspirations, building their confidence, working together with professionals to ensure the most appropriate, robust and holistic support is offered to meet each individual's needs. A key part of this role will be your ability to positively impact the lives of Children and Young people.

You will need to be able to engage with professional colleagues also, have presentation skills, and be able to bring people together around mutual goals.

Although the contracts are home based, there will be a lot of daily travel across Telford or Shropshire area. Although there is no specific office base, you will be part of a geographically based team and will be well supported by the management team and all of your colleagues.
