About the role:
The primary focus of the Bookkeeper role is credit control - raising invoices and following up on accounts receivable for our membership (approximately 1000 participants). The role will also include posting expenses and ensuring they are properly documented, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with relevant accounting principles.
This is a part-time role (3 days per week to start). The successful candidate may normally work from home or our office, but occasional in-person meetings at the office will be required (minimum twice per month).
Who we are looking for:
- Someone with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with excellent attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Someone with strong organisational skills, capable of managing time effectively and prioritising multiple tasks efficiently.
- A confident communicator, both in writing and verbally, who can interact well with team members, management, and external stakeholders. They should also be comfortable using the telephone and willing to make calls when needed.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work with numbers accurately is essential.
- Someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to review and interpret financial data, resolve discrepancies, and provide valuable insights to support senior management's decision-making.
- An individual with good IT skills who is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with experience in accounting software and CRM systems like Salesforce. We use Xero, but knowledge of this specific software is not required.
In your first 6 months:
To help you settle quickly, we will provide a thorough and comprehensive onboarding. Through meetings with key colleagues and online training, we will help you to become familiar with our way of working and our value proposition.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable (member invoicing and collections) ensuring that all invoices are generated on time and payments are collected effectively.
- Monitor Member Accounts: Track outstanding balances and proactively contact members regarding unpaid invoices to ensure timely payment
- Debt Collection: Chase overdue payments by phone or email.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member accounts, including invoices, payment history, and communications, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Cash Allocation: Ensure all incoming payments are correctly allocated to the corresponding invoices.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any disputes or queries regarding invoices or payments.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on outstanding debts, overdue accounts, and the overall status of the company’s receivables to senior management.
- Liaison: Collaborate with internal teams (Participant Engagement/Impact & Growth/Programmes) to resolve any issues that may delay payment.
- Expense Management: Track company expenses and ensure they are allocated correctly across teams.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank accounts to ensure that all transactions are properly allocated and accounted for, and discrepancies are addressed.
- VAT Compliance: Ensure VAT is accurately applied to all relevant transactions and prepare VAT returns for review by our accountant or Executive Director before submission, in compliance with legal requirements.
- Support Audits: Prepare relevant documents and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records.
- Petty Cash Handling: Manage petty cash transactions and ensure they are recorded appropriately.
The Bookkeeper may also be required to perform general finance and accounts-related tasks as needed to support the overall financial operations of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Certification in bookkeeping, or equivalent
- A good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping is essential, along with familiarity with tax and regulatory requirements.

As Learning Partner, you will play a key role in shaping a dynamic Learning offer that is closely aligned with our OoF transformation. In this role, you will:
- Advise and coach teams to design and implement human-centered learning solutions that align with our Organisation of the Future transformation programme
- Collaborate with the wellbeing team—an important aspect of this role is designing and delivering wellbeing skills programmes that support the integration of wellbeing into the Organisation of the Future programme. About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Extensive and proven expertise in customer-focused Learning & Development, with strong experience in programme and product ownership, inclusive learning design, and facilitation—both online and in-person
- Strong familiarity with digital learning platforms and LMS's, ideally LinkedIn Learning, and experience in promoting and curating content from such platforms and other sources
- Experience in design and facilitation of customer-centric learning interventions in at least 2 of the following areas: leadership & management development, wellbeing, agile mindset development, data skills development, organisation wide coaching and mentoring capability development, and/or team and group development

Purpose of Role
The People Advisor role will pay a pivotal role in delivering the People Plan at the Ramblers and creating a truly great place to work.
The role holder will support projects, activities and administration related across the whole employee life cycle at the Ramblers – actively engaging in the attraction, recruitment, development and retention of talent.
The role will also support the delivery of our business outcomes through a data-led approach to people decision-making.
Key responsibilities
Lead on all People processes, and administration required to maintain a high performing People team.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with the teams’ senior leadership, enabling the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Executive Director to build successful funding partnerships.

Our Gambling Outreach And Living Support service GOALS is our community-based support service that provides bespoke and holistic 1:1 and group support to individuals and affected other impacted by gambling harms.
Our aim is to deliver an impactful GOALS service across London which builds effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Head of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.

Resuscitation Council UK’s (RCUK) Communications and Engagement team delivers creative communications and authentic engagement activities that support the organisation’s vision to ensure that everyone in the UK has the skills they need to save a life and receive appropriate resuscitation.

You should be confident bringing healthcare-related stories to life through different digital channels. Website, SEO & PPC
- Write/produce, build and publish content for the RCUK website, including articles, features, statements and updates, ensuring diversity and inclusion is considered in everything we do.
- Ensure all content, imagery or files uploaded to the website are of an optimal file size and comply with accessibility guidance e.g., alt text, descriptive links.
- Support the Digital Media and Marketing Manager to deliver the SEO priorities for the organisation and increase RCUK’s reach.

Campaigns
- Support the communications and engagement team to deliver on key integrated campaigns across the year.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.
We now have a need for two Development Officers to work closely with the Development Director and Development Manager in developing our trusts and foundations and statutory income streams, managing the accounts of existing supporters and generating income through securing new funding relationships. JOB PURPOSE
All Souls is blessed with the resource of space. Our first priority is to fill that space with Christian ministry, but when this isn’t possible we wish to generate income from it. We are seeking a motivated Events and Venue Hire Coordinator who will help us turn empty rooms into revenue and contribute to the financial sustainability of the church’s future.
This individual will have lots of freedom to develop and implement new ideas, collaborating with the larger Events Team to effectively steward our campus. They will work closely with an energetic and diverse team and will have lots of opportunities for growth and professional development. The eventual goal is for the role holder to manage most day to day operations for venue hire, and to have a substantive voice in the overall strategy of how we use our buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to hire All Souls' facilities, working strategically with the Events Manager to target under-used areas of our campus
- Assess current processes to help improve them for clients
- Work with the Events Team to ensure that venue hire and ministry remain appropriately balanced.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the reputation of All Souls as a venue.
