Across your geographic area of South London:

• Identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high value prospects.
• Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling them to achieve their fundraising goals and reach their potential.
• Identify and steward corporate prospects using a pipeline process resulting in applying for and converting opportunities.
• Be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity.
• Manage supporters effectively using our CRM system (OneCRM) to provide excellent stewardship.
• Meet agreed financial targets, provide monthly financial progress reports, and put mitigation plans in place for any shortfall.
• Promote BHF’s activities and campaigns to raise awareness and drive income.

You'll need to live in (or within easy commuting distance which is defined as 1 hour from) South London region, or be able to relocate to this region.

This role requires regular travel within the area, and occasionally to other parts of the UK.

It would highly advantageous if you have a full UK driving licence at the time of application with access to your own vehicle.

There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £40,000 - £46,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. The International Organization for Migration in the United Kingdom (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on labour migration, migration and development, protection, and community cohesion. 

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and in close coordination with the Regional Thematic Specialist  (RTS) at the Regional Office (RO) and relevant Divisions/Departments /Units at Headquarters (HQ), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for managing, coordinating and overseeing the activities of the North Africa Migration and Development (NAMAD) project.

The NAMAD project aims to enhance skills and labour market integration for migrant and host communities, and to strengthen protection support for vulnerable migrants, in Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia. Based on the needs in each country context, IOM’s targeted interventions will address specific barriers and gaps by offering a range of skills development training, and by providing tailored humanitarian and protection for migrants in vulnerable situations. This will include provision of shelter, case management, multi-purpose cash assistance to meet basic needs, medical support, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and legal counselling.

The incumbent will coordinate with country missions in delivery of project activities, monitoring and evaluation also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting, as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.

The Head of High Value Fundraising is responsible for delivering and significantly growing income from Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Trusts and Grants. Leading a team of committed fundraisers, you will develop a robust strategy that delivers mutually beneficial partnerships, outstanding supporter relationships and long-term sustainable income.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES  

Specific Duties 

Leadership

• To lead and inspire the high value team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives
• Provide clear and supportive leadership that motivates staff to achieve, develop and grow in their roles
• Undertake quarterly reviews for all direct reports

High Value Fundraising

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-figure gifts)
• Build and maintain a portfolio of Trust & Grants supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Grants provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream
• Lead the development and stewardship of the Philanthropy board to identify and secure transformational (6-7 figure) gifts and the development of the Business development Board to open opportunities with Corporate Partners
• Write and design a compelling case for support that is tailored to our High Value audiences
• Build a portfolio of corporate partners, including securing high-value, multi-year partnerships. You will work with the team to grow this income stream from prospecting, approaches, applications, pitches, stewardship and providing excellent account management
• Lead on planning and delivering successful high value cultivation events

• Represent Winston’s Wish at fundraising events and meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Strategy, Planning and reporting

• To create and implement a strategy including corporate partnerships, trusts & foundations and major donors
• Lead on developing and delivering effective stewardship journeys and cultivation plans
• Produce regular reports on fundraising activity, analysing performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Work with the Director of Income Generation and the Head of Mass Participation Fundraising to develop the annual budget, including leading on monthly performance reports and contributing to quarterly reforecasts and reporting against KPI’s and milestones
• Undertake research and make use of tools to identify potential High Value partners.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Director of Income Generation, Head of Mass Participation Fundraising, SLT and other teams to maximise high value fundraising opportunities
• Work with the Marketing team to deliver urgent and compelling high value messages tailed for the different audiences
• Work with the Trustees to build networks and increase the reach of Winston’s Wish

• Track record of converting cold prospects to planned gifts of 6-7 figures
• Demonstratable strong strategic planning skills and the ability to develop and implement long-term strategies to achieve fundraising targets and enhance the charity's mission
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in overseeing multi-disciplinary teams. Essential experience includes team leadership, staff motivation, setting clear objectives, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Experience in effectively developing, managing and reporting complex income and expenditure budgets
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and excellent written skills
• Experience of successfully engaging trustees and/or senior volunteer committees to drive philanthropic income.

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

Philanthropy Key Relationships Manager

We are looking for a Philanthropy Key Relationships Manager to lead on building and strengthening relationships with major and mid-level donors, helping them achieve their philanthropic goals while raising vital income for the charity.

Position: Key Relationships Manager

Location: Home based (with quarterly in person All Staff days, travel to donors and some Fundraising team days in Swindon). To facilitate travel to donors, candidate will need to be based in the South of England, or near London.

The Role

With a strong focus on stewardship, you’ll manage a portfolio of supporters, create tailored engagement opportunities, and deliver compelling cases for support that inspire long-term giving. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a joined-up, strategic approach to relationship fundraising. Your ability to communicate with clarity and warmth, alongside a deep understanding of what motivates Christian supporters, will be key to growing support and maximising impact.

About You

You will have proven experience of developing high-value relationships with donors (individuals) and a track record of success in soliciting major gifts in excess of £5k or transferable skills gained in a similar role with equally demanding relationship-based targets.

With knowledge of the principles of relationships fundraising to include identification, research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and mid-level donors, you will have experience of working autonomously and effectively with people at senior or Board level.

You will have:

• Evidence of strong influencing and negotiating skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to make a cogent and compelling supporting case for each project

About You

The Central Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Central Operations Manager with administrative support for the Society, which includes finance administration, membership and grants administration and journal sales processing. There is also a requirement for the postholder to support with some facilities management and office support activities.
The postholder will contribute to and support the Central Operations Manager and the Chief Operations Officer in the delivery of all of the Trustee Board’s strategic objectives and particularly in relation to long-term sustainability by maximising cost savings and efficiencies.

Please note that the organisation operates a hybrid working policy, and there is a requirement for the post holder to be in the office 3 days a week.

Summary
An exciting opportunity to use your excellent administrative skills to make a real difference, working with passionate inspiring people in the UK and internationally to bring about a more inclusive world. This role would enable you to get involved in designing and presenting new projects from livelihoods to mental health, from Nigeria to Nepal. No need for experience in international development, or even the charity sector; the main thing is to have experience in office / project administration, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, and to be willing to learn and contribute.
Purpose
To provide administrative support to the CBM UK Programme Development Department, especially to its Programme Funding team; enabling efficient management of stakeholder relationships and submission of quality proposals to institutional donors. This support will contribute to the funding and effective delivery of disability-inclusive development and humanitarian programmes in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs).
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Programme Funding, the majority of the Programme Officer’s time will be spent supporting the Programme Funding team, which is part of the Programme Development (PD) Department.
Programme Funding, Programme Finance and Programme Management work very closely together as the PD Department, covering the whole Project Cycle including design, contracting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. As well as supporting Programme Funding (75-80% of the role), you will also support smooth running of other aspects of the PD Department (20-25%). To represent the latter, there is a ‘dotted line’ of reporting from the Programme Officer to both the Head of Programmes and the Director of Programme Impact. Full induction and internal training on all CBM UK-specific tasks, systems and processes will be provided.

Programme Funding Support (75-80%)
• Support scanning for suitable new funding opportunities, and create clear summaries of donor requirements.
• Keep the Programme Funding team, and each proposal development team1, highly organised, enabling efficient progress towards a submission deadline. This is likely to include:
o Real-time information management; clear filing, version control and communication
o Tracking progress against agreed actions; following up with reminders
o Using checklists to ensure all important steps are followed
o Facilitating adaptations to the proposal development plan
o Creating user-friendly templates and guidance
o Making arrangements for meetings
o Coordinating review processes.
• Provide practical administrative support to proposal development and stakeholder relationship-building, including:
o Online research about donor / geography / technical area / partners / competitors
o Formatting, proof-reading and/or editing to fit prescribed word / character limits
o Creation of tables, graphics, references from supplied data
o Checking compliance against donor requirements
o Arranging, recording and following up on meetings.
• Data management: Update and maintain Project Management System ‘Global Online’ with information relating to funding proposals, projects, donors and consortium partners (both current and prospective) – everything required prior to handover to Programme Management team for donor contract negotiations.
• Support efficiency and effectiveness of the Programme Funding Team through continual maintenance of and improvements to Programme Funding systems and processes, e.g. updating a proposal resource library.
• Manage provision of compliance information for due diligence processes and proposals as required by donors or consortium leads. Provide this service for other CBM UK teams as well as for the Programme Funding team, as required.
• Carry out other duties as required by the Head of Programme Funding, including support for internal reporting.
Programme Development (PD) Department support (20-25%)
• Make arrangements for events such as internal and external meetings (including recording actions / minutes, and providing for any accessibility requirements), training courses and team building, regular learning sessions, team travel (including bookings and expenses) and occasional international workshops (mostly online).

• Lead on knowledge management for Programme Development (PD) Department including updating PD Handbook and maintaining MS Teams site.
• Support the Director of Programme Impact and Head of Programmes with internal reporting processes; sourcing and collating information.
• Facilitate responses to enquiries about CBM programmes from the public or other teams, and facilitate communication with other CBM UK departments.
• Carry out other duties as required by the Director of Programme Impact, or Head of Programmes, including providing ‘surge support’ to Programme Managers. This could include:
o Practical support for adaptation to new or improved systems / processes
o Preparing materials for presentations or papers for meetings
o Collating information for annual budgeting or project portfolio allocations
o Scheduling and calendar management.
Other
• Work with other teams to maximise cross fertilisation opportunities and integrated working.
• Help develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM UK.
• Play an active role across CBM UK, promoting positive working and innovation. Cross-team ‘Champions’ groups are one way to do this, e.g. current groups focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Wellbeing; Safeguarding; Innovation. The social committee is another option.
