Financial & Operational Oversight: Manage project budgets and reporting. Contribute to funding bids and business planning. Oversee premises, health and safety, and site logistics.
Performance Monitoring & Strategic Input: Lead on reporting, quality assurance, and outcome tracking. Contribute to strategic planning and service development. Identify gaps or under-performance and lead on solutions
We are seeking a confident and experienced individual who brings:
- A strong background in youth work, community development or a related field
- Demonstrable experience of team management and people development

- The ability to lead, plan and deliver services within multi-agency settings

About the role
As an Engagement Worker, you will be pivotal in delivering Shelter’s purpose to defend the right to a safe home by enabling those we assist to enforce their housing rights. You will be a key member of a new Housing First team in South Tyneside, delivering intensive support to a small number of individuals with multiple disadvantage to move from homelessness to sustaining a tenancy. As the team is new you will need to form links with partner organisations and agencies and your role will be fundamental in supporting someone on their journey through Housing First, supporting five clients at any one time.
About you
You will need experience of support work, a proven ability to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, especially substance misuse services, health and probation and people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have an awareness of working in a trauma informed, strengths based approach to help people with multiple disadvantage, as well as having experience of writing and implementing person centred support plans and writing detailed case-notes. Also, you have flexible time management skills and are comfortable collaborating with people from other teams and organisations.

The charity’s vision is to make life more affordable, to build strong communities and to reduce food waste. The Philanthropy Lead is central to TBBT’s ambitions to grow their geographical reach and raise their national profile to reach more communities, working to shape and deliver a high-value fundraising strategy, lead multi-sector funding bids, and work hand in hand with delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders. Job Purpose
The Director of Finance, Operations & Compliance will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working to ensure the impact, sustainability, diligence and productivity of the organisation, with a commitment to organisational transformation within the framework of a values-led approach to people and culture.

Financial Strategy, Planning and Control:

Accountable for all aspects of financial management and control, including budgeting, reforecasting, treasury management, cashflow, management information, performance and statutory reporting.

Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, including leading regular reviews with Senior Leadership team and providing quantitative and qualitative reports for the Board including clear and accessible narrative analysis.

Provision of financial management and accounting services, management information, and statutory reporting.

Lead the organisation of quarterly Finance, Audit & Risk Committee meetings, in line with the Committee Terms of Reference and in consultation with the Treasurer, and National Director/CEO.

Responsible for the preparation and submission of annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP and legal requirements and coordinating the external audit exercise and seeing the process through to Board approvals and filing with statutory bodies.

Lead a positive and collaborative relationship with HFHI Finance teams and ensure that Habitat GB meets its regular reporting requirements.

Lead Habitat GB’s relationship with relevant external partners, including auditors, bankers, insurers, pension providers, HMRC, Charity Commission and Companies House.
GB Homes Subsidiary Entity:

Working closely with the National Director/CEO on planning for the future wind-up of the entity, providing all financial management, reporting and compliance resources as required in the interim.

Working with the Director of Programme Delivery, provide financial resource and support to the management of the former GB Homes asset portfolio, developing appropriate reporting mechanisms that provide data which can be included into the combined budgeting and reporting of Habitat GB

Accountable for integration and ongoing provision of the operational requirements of the GB Homes subsidiary, including insurance, technology, and communications requirements.
Fundraising & Programmes support:

Work closely with the Directors of Fundraising & Partnerships, and of Impact & Influence to set ambitious and achievable targets across restricted and unrestricted fundraising, track performance, and ensure high quality forecasting, reporting and budget management.

Be responsible for the development and oversight of policies, protocols and systems required for restricted fund management which align with Habitat for Humanity International and external donor requirements.

Work collaboratively across Habitat GB to agree service delivery expectations and ensure the timely provision of relevant inputs from the Finance, Operations & Compliance team across partnership and programme cycles. For example, audit or financial reporting requirements from donors, up to date policies, review of proposal documents, grants and contract agreements.

Work closely with the Directors of Programme Delivery & Retail to ensure Habitat GB has the specialist knowledge and financial skills relevant to our diverse types of programmes, including a new and growing retail operation, as well as construction project delivery.
Risk Management and Compliance:

Lead on the development and maintenance of the organisational Risk Register, being responsible for the management and mitigation of financial, regulatory and operational risks and coordinating with others on the reporting and review of other risk areas.

THE ROLE
This is a senior leadership role at The Girls’ Network with strategic and operational responsibility for the successful delivery of our mentoring and ambassador programmes. Programme Delivery
- Operational ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of The Girls’ Network programmes, in line with our strategic aims and operational targets.

- Ensure a girl-centred approach to all programme delivery and development.

Team Leadership
- Effective leadership and direction of a programme team who are entirely home-based and widely geographically dispersed.
- Line management of senior members of the programme delivery team, the Programme Co-ordinator and MERL Manager.
- Foster a team environment in-keeping with our organisational values.
- Ownership of the professional development of programme delivery team members. This includes enabling new members of the team to have the tools to deliver effectively, as well as the ongoing development of existing staff.
- Ownership of recruitment of programme team roles, with support from the People & Culture Manager.
Safeguarding
- Named Safeguarding Lead for the charity with ultimate accountability for Safeguarding decisions.

We are seeking a passionate, innovative and committed Wellbeing Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of a new wellbeing service designed specifically for refugees and asylum seekers in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and other parts of Dorset. The Line is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraising professional to join its team.
The Development Coordinator will support the Head of Development (incoming) to reach the organisation's fundraising targets to enable us to deliver our ambitious outdoor exhibition and engagement programmes. The role will include writing funding applications and reporting to funders on existing grants, supporting fundraising activity, undertaking prospect research and maintaining fundraising systems.
The Development Coordinator will deliver practical and essential support to the organisation and would suit someone with a passion for arts and community with imagination, strong writing skills and an ambition to build on existing fundraising experience.
