Street Child, one of the world's fastest growing children's charities, are searching for a high-quality corporate partnerships professional with events experience to help maximise the multi-layered opportunities flowing from the charity's unique relationship with Liberty Global plc.

Working directly into the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising the position will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic partnership delivery and fundraising events function for the Street Child/Liberty Global partnership, for which Liberty Global won 'Business of the Year' in the 2021 Third Sector Business Charity Awards. The role will:

1. Support excellent delivery of existing key pillars of the partnership with Liberty Global (e.g. annual 2-day European 'Big Ride' cycle/run/walk event; and spectacular Autumn London Fundraising Gala - with a combined attendance of 1,200+ & revenues of £2m+).

2. Explore and deliver on new activities and opportunities to further grow the quality and impact of the partnership, involving close collaboration with both internal and external Communications teams.

3. Work closely with our Partnership Development and New Business function to maximise the extraordinary potential of the warm introductions, often at a highly influential level, Liberty provide to their wider corporate community of subsidiaries, partners & vendors – spanning the tech, media, finance/banking, consulting, legal & other professional services spaces.

4. Support and lead on other cross-organisational events as required, including our Spring Gala and Christmas Carol Concert.

This is a phenomenal opportunity demanding a highly professional, strategic thinker and responsive fundraiser with strong relationship-building, and classic 'account management' skills. The role will suit an individual who thrives when working under pressure and with senior stakeholders and has had at least some experience in the delivery of major fundraising events. The ideal candidate will have experience managing partnerships involving both challenge events and gala dinners, and will also possess the propositional instincts, credibility and quality to recognise and successfully progress fresh opportunities.

The role

Responsibilities:

Cross-Organisational:

• Implement and improve business management systems, processes and best practice ways of working, maximising integration, efficiency and staff experience and ensure they are used consistently and effectively across the organisation.

• Lead on knowledge management, creating tools, coordinating and developing consistency to enable staff to be effective in their roles.

Finance & Operations initiatives:

• Deliver projects or initiatives to achieve Operations planned objectives, trialling, implementing, and continuously improving where necessary as we grow and evolve.

• Manage the delivery and implementation of improvements identified to ensure that the organisation is operating effectively.

• Lead on the programme of measuring ourselves against the B Corp Standards, managing and monitoring our progress towards agreed targets, and ensuring that we are reporting in a timely manner and making any necessary adjustments.

Operations:

• Manage the strategic relationship with key suppliers e.g. IT Support provider, office landlord.

• Lead improvements to operations functional processes.

• Task management for staff delivering projects, overseeing the work of the Operations Coordinator where necessary.

• Provide ad-hoc support and coordination to projects, events and other activities as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of designing and improving business processes across different functions, including providing accessible guidance to staff on new processes and ways of working.

• Proven track record of project management to implement initiatives and activities, working across teams to deliver results.

• Experience of collaborating with colleagues to identify their needs and design, develop and implement appropriate solutions.

• Experience in managing key supplier relationships.

• Good knowledge of IT systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, able to adapt style to different audiences.

• Experience of working for a charity, non-profit or campaigning organisation.

• Sound IT skills including use of spreadsheets, communication tools (e.g.Slack) and project management tools (e.g. Asana).

Bankside Open Spaces Trust is looking to recruit a dynamic and organised Centre Manager with a passion for community and young people to lead and manage our operations, drive engagement, and foster a sense of belonging within the community. Responsibilities

Strategic development and implementation

• Develop and oversee an effective PR communications strategy, including business/trade press and public affairs (EU and UN advocacy), based on ProVeg’s strategic principles, impact areas and global interventions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong track record in PR (including broadcast), marketing and/or organisational branding.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English to native level (or C1).

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.

The Role

You will manage the provision of a high quality, specialist service to victims of sexual violence and manage the Adult Therapy Service which offers face to face, telephone and online therapeutic support, counselling sessions (including pre-trial therapy and fast track therapy) and support groups to individuals (and secondary survivors) who have experienced sexual abuse or rape.

You will be the named contact with BACP and to provide direct line management of the Adult Therapy Team, which works within a multi-agency setting to provide an empathic and pro-active service to victims of sexual abuse, adults and children and their families, within and outside of the criminal justice system, across the county. The Therapy Services are funded through multiple grants and contracts. 

Demonstrating well developed leadership skills, decisive operational accountability and an ability to work well independently, you will be responsible for the overall management, leadership and development of clinical staff and volunteers.

About You

With a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, you will have accredited status with BACP, NCS or other equivalent body and 750 hours post qualification practice.

You will also have:

• Experience in managing and supporting staff to deliver services effectively
• A minimum of three years’ experience working specifically with this client group
• A minimum of two years’ experience of undertaking therapeutic assessments

A valid driving licence and access to your own transport which will need to be insured for business use is essential in this role.

About us

Shop from Crisis is expanding! We currently have 16 shops across London, but we are looking to grow our business over the next five years, with a view to a national expansion and the continuation of our presence across London locations. About the role 

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Retail Area Manager to head up a team of Shop Managers to deliver financial excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will nurture a creative shop environment, one where shop teams seek to maximise income in new and innovative ways both within the shop and through new entrepreneurial channels, such as events and community initiatives. 

At Crisis we currently have two Retail Area Managers managing shops across London, you will work together to achieve budget and financial success, along with supporting the shop teams. With the Head of Retail and Acquisition & Assets manager you will support the expansion of new shops across London and have responsibility for the hiring and induction of new teams to run these shops. You will lead and develop your teams to achieve ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will have a background in charity and high street retail with experience of leading and motivating a team of Shop Managers across multiple sites. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their approach and enjoys working in a dynamic and changing environment.
