Strategic Corporate Partnerships Manager

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract, ideally starting 1 October 2024. Full Time (35 Hours per week)

About the Team:

The WaterAid Corporate Partnerships Team is responsible for developing and implementing WaterAid's Corporate Partnerships Strategy which includes a focus on developing high value, high impact strategic partnerships, where the value goes beyond financial alone and aiming for benefit towards WaterAid's mission including finding ways to add value and contribute to programmatic and policy objectives.

The Corporate Partnerships Team is made up of 3 sub teams - Partnership Management, Partnership Development and Private Sector Engagement. The Strategic Corporate Partnerships Manager will sit within the Partnership Management sub team.

About the Role:
As our enthusiastic and motivated Strategic Corporate Partnerships Manager you will develop and manage ambitious, long-term corporate partnerships

In this role, you will use your partnership management skills to develop high impact, shared value partnerships.  

You'll also: 

• Manage and proactively develop partnerships to reach their full potential, demonstrating ambition and innovation in your approach
• Liaise with country offices on funding opportunities and project reporting
• Deliver high quality proposals, pitches and reports
• Develop a strong knowledge of the sectors you work with, to be an informed and respected stakeholder

About You:

• A proven track record of managing complex, multi layered corporate partnerships to deliver shared value 
• Experience of developing and implementing partnership development strategies including stakeholder stewardship 
• Ability to network with, and influence, senior people both internally and externally
• Experience of writing high quality, engaging proposals and reports for a corporate audience as well as experience of making presentations to senior level contacts and / or large groups of employees

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience of new business generation
• Knowledge of corporate social responsibility issues
• Understanding of international development

The Living Wage Foundation was launched in 2011 by Citizens UK to tackle in-work poverty and ensure that workers earn enough to live on and participate in family and community life. Citizens UK is the home of community organising with diverse civil society alliances set up to develop leaders to work on the issues that matter to them, such as the Living Wage. Purpose

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Communications Officer. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-profile communications environment.

The role will support the objectives of the Living Wage Foundation by communicating our work to a wide range of audiences, including senior business leaders and politicians, through a mix of communications methods: social media, newsletters, media outlets, website and internal communications channels.

The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring and management of our social media channels, supporting with written and visual content creation for the Living Wage Foundation, and will support the development of press campaigns to build awareness of the Living Wage Foundation’s work. The role will work closely to support the Communications team’s work and help communicate the work of the wider-team and our employer network.

 This post will be joining a Communications team that spans media, digital communications, research and events, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings.

The role is also responsible for key communications with our network of over 15,000 accredited Living Wage Employers, including our monthly newsletters, blogs, videos and case studies to celebrate our network of accredited employers

The position would suit an applicant with strong written and communication skills, with some experience of working within a communications team and a passion for social media and content creation.

This is an entry level role and we don’t expect you to have experience of all areas of this job, training will be provided to help you develop into this role.

Main Responsibilities

Social Media and Website

· Oversee our digital communications channels to raise awareness of the Living Wage and our wider accreditation schemes, champion responsible employers and grow our movement.

· Help the team keep up to date with social media trends and opportunities.

· Create, manage and schedule posts for our Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, tailoring the content to different channels and audiences.

· Monitor our social media channels, replying to enquiries from the public and our networks of supporters and employers and flagging any potential issues to the wider team

· Source and create original content for both the Living Wage Foundation and external websites, including creating blog posts, news, guidance, and general pages.

· Audit and review existing website content to ensure it is effective and up-to-date. Support on improvements and developments where necessary.

Internal Communications

· Administrate and facilitate communications team meetings.

· Communications support for key events and campaign moments including the annual Champion Awards and Living Wage Week.

Situational Awareness and Research

· Help the team keep up to date with social media trends and opportunities.

· Monitor and evaluate media campaigns and reports.

Strategy Development· Contribute to media strategies and plans that help to win public and political support for the Living Wage Foundation and its work.Reputational Risk and Management

· Monitor our social media channels, replying to enquiries from the public and our networks of supporters and employers, and flagging any potential issues to the wider team.

· Participate in the out-of-hours duty press (being on hand to very occasionally answer emails and phone calls in the evenings or weekends).

Content Creation and Dissemination

· Working with the communication team, design and implement engaging digital engagement campaigns for Living Wage Employers and supporters, and to support Living Wage Foundation campaigns.

· Design communications collateral to increase engagement on social media, including the creation and editing of short-form videos for our online channels and creation of social media graphics.

· Improve our digital offering for our network of accredited Living Wage, Living Hours, and Living Pension Employers by creating resources and improving our communications support.

· Liaise with the Living Wage and Citizens UK team to keep up-to-date with news to share with key stakeholders.

· Collate and summarize content to schedule newsletters and updates for our varied audiences.

· Support in the adoption of updated brand across our communications content and materials, supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.

· Write compelling press releases, blogs, and opinion editorials to promote the Living Wage Foundation’s work.

· Work with colleagues to develop case studies and ensure stories of low pay and the Living Wage are told effectively across all our internal and external communications channels.

· Build effective relationships with the media, colleagues, and other stakeholders to find new ways to raise our profile.

The role

You should be self-motivated, with experience of working within volunteer management and able to manage ad-hoc corporate groups, short term volunteering schemes as well as long-term and regular volunteers. Additionally, you should be able to deliver end to end volunteer recruitment activities and provide on-going supervision and support to volunteers, ensuring that their training needs are met. You should also be able to develop and deliver a range of local volunteer engagement activities. • Develop and implement a regional volunteer recruitment strategy that will deliver an extensive pool of diverse and engaged volunteers to ensure the operational needs of your FareShare Regional Centre are met in a timely manner.

• Liaise with FareShare Nationals Marketing & Volunteering Teams to promote and publicise case studies and examples of volunteer success stories. 
• To engage with other FareShare Regional Centres and the FareShare National Volunteering Team on a quarterly basis to deliver UK wide volunteering activity and share good practice.

Purpose 

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Data Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to maintain, develop and continuously improve our systems. The role will be an integral part of the Living Wage Operations Team, providing strategic technical support and ensure the integrity of our systems, often overseeing development projects with external partners. 

The Operations and Data Manager will need to be highly numerate and have great analytical skills to support our monitoring and evaluation functions, working with the Head of Operations and Insight on financial and budgeting management, reconciliation and forecasting for the Living Wage Foundation. The suitable candidate will be detail-oriented, be able to demonstrate their ability to seek out improvements and problem solve creatively and have experience working with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems. 

Main Responsibilities 

Project Management 

Deliver work targets on time and to standard to support the Foundation’s progress incl. tracking performance and expenditure: 

• Lead the day-to-day operations and management of all systems within the Living Wage Foundation designed to support the functioning of Living Wage accreditation schemes. 

• Proactively seek out systems improvements to make our processes more efficient so the Living Wage Foundation continues to provide an excellent service to the Living Wage network. 

• Provide operational support for all aspects of the accreditation and recognition systems, including identifying and fixing errors 

• Oversee the management of systems integrations to ensure they are providing efficient and effective solutions to our data requirements, including maintenance of Zapier, Form Assembly, Act-On and QuickBooks, and the integration between Salesforce and our Drupal website. 

• Carry out maintenance of integrated systems, including syncing data to Act-On and the website. 

Learning and expertise  

• Keep up-to-date with functional good practice and technical updates to all our systems, including within the third sector. 

• Train the team to carry out data selections and export in an appropriate format to support the press and communications team’s work and the Foundation’s research projects. 

• Keep internal training manuals up to date to ensure the Foundation’s team can access clear information about our processes and ensuring the team’s training requirements are met.

Bristol Charities mission is to provide opportunities and support for people and communities to improve lives through grants, housing and charitable projects.

They are at a very exciting time in their development and have created a new role of Director of Fundraising & Communications to help them on their journey. This a new role that will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the charity as well as securing the resources to deliver sustainable growth in the work and impact of the charity.

Going forward their work will be delivered though a distinctive and coherent Community Hub model, which will be holistic, person-centred, integrated, joined-up, and promote a partnership approach.  They also purchased The Vassall Centre in 2021, with long term plans to redevelop the site for community benefit.

In the short term they plan to relaunch the Vassall Centre as a standout, accessible, and affordable workspace venue for charitable organisations.  Their community Hubs will include directly delivered Bristol Charities programmes/projects, services delivered by local partners, and services delivered by their strategic partners. They are also looking to increase the number of housing units they manage, either through development of their existing sites, through acquisition of new sites or through partnership working with other local housing providers, and any new Housing Schemes will incorporate the new Hub model.

Bristol Charities now need to recruit an experienced, passionate, and entrepreneurial fundraising professional; someone who is capable of not only overseeing a small but growing communications function, but who also recognises the importance of aligning fundraising and communications strategies and activity. 

With this role, there will be the opportunity to build a fundraising function from scratch and lead on the fundraising and communications strategy for the charity, at a time of exciting change. The work would go across a range of sectors and will provide an opportunity to impact the city in lasting and tangible ways.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Fundraising will play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team by providing thoughtful and creative leadership and productive working relationships with other Directors, teams, and colleagues, helping to set the direction for the charity and tackling strategic challenges.

For this role, we are seeking:

· Extensive fundraising experience in a compatible context, specifically across key areas of income generation.

· Must be target driven to achieve income objectives set.

· Relevant professional qualifications or qualified through experience (either fundraising or communications).

· Leadership at a senior executive level with experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues and Trustees to deliver fundraising and marketing objectives.

This is an exciting new role, and the person will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing fundraising plans to support delivery of all projects and programmes. • To pull information required, download and process third party donations ensuring that they are compliant with GDPR.

Compliance

• To keep abreast of all legislation relating to charitable giving such as PCI DSS, Institute of Fundraising guidelines and best practice, Data Protection and Gift Aid Regulations.
• To ensure data is managed to appropriate standards of data protection and security.
• To be aware of and consistently using organisational policies and procedures

Team Working

• To undertake and participate on projects as directed by the Supporter Experience Manager.
• To work closely with the team to review and improve practices and procedures, implementing positive changes and improving efficiency.

About Young Sounds UK

Young Sounds exists because musical talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t: family finances and other obstacles too often get in the way. We’re here to change this in two key ways:

• We support young musicians from low-income families with funding and other help;

The Data Officer will fulfil an important cross-organisational role, working closely with the team to collate and analyse the data collected through all our programmes. Young Sounds is a reflective organisation. We’ve always invested time and effort in seeking out, understanding and demonstrating the difference our programmes are making. Since 2023 we have committed to evaluating all three of our main programmes, each of which tackles a key barrier to young people’s musical progression. Our priority for this post holder is to work on our What Works Programme 2, which designs and funds impact evaluations, including (Randomised Controlled Trials and Quasi-Experimental designs) of youth employment interventions.

The Senior Economist / Evidence and Evaluation Manager will also contribute to the development of our suite of ‘evaluation architecture’, enhancing our data infrastructure and administrative dataset access, as well as methodological guidance and standards. These will ensure that, as the What Works Centre for youth employment, our evidence is as credible and useful as possible.

You will additionally support other aspects of the Evidence and Evaluation team’s commissioning. This may include developing policies and processes supporting effective evaluation methodology design, working closely with Youth Futures’ Programmes and Grants directorate. You will also work with our Policy and Communications and Employer Engagement directorates to ensure that all evaluation and evidence outputs are high quality and make clear, practical and impactful recommendations for practice and policy.

We are a multi-disciplinary team, and we welcome applications from those who have interest and experience in impact evaluation gained through commissioning or delivery experience.

This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.
