About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to start your fundraising career working as part of a newly created fundraising products team. You’ll work on our sector leading virtual events programme, which has raised millions of pounds to date, as well as innovative product development to help us reach new audiences.
This is a varied role where you’ll play an important role in the smooth delivery of fundraising campaigns. A typical week may include providing brilliant stewardship to our supporters over email and phone, as well as to our online communities, and sending out fundraising materials. You might also develop new fundraising resources and content plans and help to setup a new campaign with the digital team. Joining a collaborative and fun team, you’ll be supported to learn and develop in your role.
About you
Having previously worked in a customer or supporter facing role, you’ll know how to provide a brilliant experience and be an excellent communicator. Friendly, organised and proactive, you’ll have great administrative skills gained in a professional environment where you’ve worked both independently and as part of a team.
You’ll have a passion for fundraising and it’s a bonus if you’ve worked at a charity before. Some experience working with databases or supporting online communities would also be helpful but isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone with a positive, can do attitude who is eager to learn, deliver results and be part of a high performing team.

Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager

The opportunity
The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) is the charity for the working animals of the world. Since 1923, working through a series of global projects and partnerships across 23 low-income countries, SPANA has supported the welfare of working donkeys, horses, camels, oxen and other working animals in communities that depend on them for water, transport, agriculture, and their very survival.
Your key responsibilities include:
Digital Programme management
- Develop, implement and optimise innovative multi-channel digital strategies that drive online visibility and performance on platforms such as web, e-mail, organic social and paid media.
- Develop, implement and optimise effective digital campaigns to target audiences to meet fundraising KPIs, enhance brand awareness and drive new leads.
- Create compelling digital content – including e-mail campaigns, landing pages, social media posts and paid media ads – ensuring assets are tailored to respective channels and target audiences.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and drive organic growth. Ensure all digital content is SEO optimised and complies with brand guidelines.
- Manage external web agencies and oversee the development and maintenance of the SPANA website.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Engagement Manager to build and maintain an integrated digital activity calendar, house style and overarching digital strategy.
- Lead the charge in shaping SPANA’s online presence and driving strategic online growth.
Programme support and administration
- Work with colleagues to ensure digital activities comply with all aspects of fundraising and data regulation, including in relation to marketing preferences and GDPR.
- Provide advice and support to colleagues across SPANA on making digital activities as efficient and effective as possible in achieving strategic objectives.
- Work with the Head Marketing & Digital to set and manage annual digital budgets.
- Provide support for digital team colleagues during absences.
- Provide social media monitoring and out of hours cover where necessary.
- Stay informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of digital marketing and make recommendations accordingly.

Main Purpose of Job
We are looking for a personable and committed individual responsible for providing a comprehensive project that benefits young people, local schools & businesses, and the wider community in the London borough of Hounslow.
This post will involve youth outreach, targeted mentoring, and collaboration with schools and local businesses. The role entails coordinating outreach on three local high streets, conducting school assemblies, running a weekly roadshow, and managing a caseload of mentees. The individual will work with referral partners to identify young people both externally referred and from outreach sessions, schools, and weekly sessions for programme engagement, and will pinpoint suitable progression routes and development opportunities focusing on but not limited to health and wellbeing, life skills, and education and employability.
Mentoring and session delivery will primarily occur in the afternoons/evenings to accommodate young people’s schedules, with some sessions during school/working hours. The role also includes supporting the delivery and development of our Communities Engagement and Education department, encompassing estate-based programmes, holiday camps, and targeted mentoring.
You will be required to collaborate with the Local Authority and Police teams to timetable in outreach delivery and design workshops for retail staff around themes including respect, managing behaviour, and safeguarding.
About You
You will have knowledge and experience of Youth Work, Coaching or Mentoring and manging sessions and caseloads. Experience of working with vulnerable young people is essential. You will have the ability to realte well with young people from different backgrounds and an understanding of the current issues and barriers that impact them.
The postholder will have good orgnisation skills with good attention to detail, have a postive and flexible approach with the abiltiy to demonstrate high levels care. You will enjoy working in a team environment.
This role involves a commitment in working three evenings a week, and additional evenings when required.

Responsibilities & Main Duties:
Financial Management
- Act as an effective internal business partner to all colleagues across the charity, providing timely, accurate and relevant information to support the financial planning and performance of all services and functions.
- Day to day responsibility includes leading month end processes including reviewing and posting journals, purchase ledger, sales ledger, adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations to make sure month end reports are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Working with the team to produce the monthly management accounts pack including P&L, cashflow, balance sheet and other management reports with financial analysis and comments as required.
- Working with budget holders on the cycle of budgeting and reforecasting including working to an agreed timetable, setting up templates and working with budget holders to get them completed, plus finalizing them for senior management.
- Supporting the execution of all day-to-day financial operations and processes including management of payroll, gift aid, charity VAT, membership subscriptions, donations and other charitable income and expenditure.
- Assisting in managing external relationships with auditors, banks, pension providers, payroll partners and insurers.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders in relation to efficient issue of invoices, processing of payments, resolving queries etc
Risk Management and Compliance
- Assist in administrating the charity's risk register in timely manner.
- Assist the Director Finance & Corporate Resources in managing internal assurance and governance processes, including internal audit and compliance testing.
- Assist in compliance with contracts with suppliers and landlord as well as supporting compliance in the delivery of charitable service contracts

The role
As a Customer Specialist manager you'll be leading, motivating and empowering your team to deliver advice and outcomes to customers with complex housing issues. We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. To manage the overall running of the Carers’ Hub office, including overseeing HR admin, implement policy and procedures, including Health and Safety, maintain administrative processes, manage stakeholders, serve the trustee board, and work closely with the Carers’ Hub team in the implementation of events and projects.

The role
The purpose of this role is to support the exciting and innovative work of Petrus in empowering adults with complex needs facing multiple disadvantages by writing award winning bids for Trusts, Grants, Partnerships and Awards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Not Beyond Redemption, a charity providing mothers in prison with free Family Law advice and representation to help them re-establish and maintain contact with their children during their sentence and upon release.
Mission:
Not Beyond Redemption was established by leading Family lawyer, Camilla Baldwin, to ensure that family law advice and representation is available not just to those who could afford it, but also to those who need it most. Maintaining a healthy and supportive relationship with family while in prison is crucial to reducing reoffending rates and improving rehabilitation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive Support:
- Manage the Founder’s inbox, draft and send emails on their behalf, and schedule appointments.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings for the Founder with internal and external parties.
Financial Management:
- Oversee online accountancy and manage payments through the online banking platform.
- Create cashflows and budgets to forecast income and expenditure, ensuring financial stability.
- Manage the relationship with the part-time accountant/bookkeeper, overseeing the production of annual accounts and reports.
- Handle organisational memberships and subscriptions (e.g., Information Commissioner’s Office, and Living Wage Foundation).
Operations Management:
- Organise monthly clinics at different prisons, coordinating with staff at prisons and partner law firms.
- Coordinate the remote clinics, ensuring that the clinics are staffed with volunteers.
- Arrange and coordinate staff travel arrangements.
- Conduct DBS checks for employees and volunteers.
Payroll Administration:
- Set up payroll online using Xero, which automatically generates monthly payroll, pension filings, and PAYE submissions.
- Process pensions and PAYE.
Fundraising Support:
- Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to identify Charitable Trusts and Foundations for potential applications.
- Assist in drafting funding applications and meeting with Charitable Trusts and Foundations to secure donations.
- Provide updates for funders to communicate the impact of their support.
- Keep fundraising documents updated, including the application tracker, fundraising calendar, and donations spreadsheet.
- Manage donation processes, ensuring accurate recording, acknowledgement, and stewardship of donors.
Communications and Marketing:
- Manage and curate content for the organisation’s social media platforms.
- Design compelling marketing materials to promote the organisation’s initiatives, including the annual Impact Report.
- Ensure the website is up to date.
Trustees and Board Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for the board of trustees.
- Coordinate and manage Trustees' meetings, compiling board agendas and associated paperwork.
- Prepare minutes for Trustees’ meetings.
- Communicate with Trustees throughout the year to keep them updated on all activities.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute fundraising events and charity initiatives.
- Participate in networking or awareness-raising events, ensuring we have presentations and staff available.
Research and Data Analysis:
- Conduct ongoing research on maternal imprisonment to ensure up-to-date knowledge of statistics and trends.
- Send out questionnaires to clients to collect qualitative and quantitative research.
- Collect data from client feedback to assess our impact and identify areas for improvement.

We're looking for a creative Visitor Experience and Engagement Officer who can connect people with nature. Working at Minsmere, you'll provide fascinating visitor experiences, drawing people in through new, quality events.
Minsmere is the RSPB’s flagship reserve on the Suffolk coast, giving visitors incredible wildlife spectacles.
You will develop our visitor offer, ensuring high quality experiences. You will be a good communicator, experienced at delivering events and engaging with new audiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Introduce new visitors to the RSPB by working with the Visitor Experience Manager to create a range of new and exciting events. These new events will sit alongside our current programme of events and will enhance our visitor offer and drive footfall.
- Ensure relevant data is captured for all events to enable reporting and evaluation.
- Engage and communicate with diverse audiences, face to face, digitally and via social media.
- Ensure the reserve delivers events to the highest standards resulting in a high-quality visitor experience.
- Support the continued development of a team of volunteers to assist with event delivery.
