Job Description
Main Purpose
The VCS Support Officer role provides advice and support for voluntary and community organisations about organisational development. It equips organisations and individuals with the skills and knowledge to run effectively, legally, and sustainably – enabling them to create thriving communities and a more equal Southwark.

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. As a Local Policy Analyst, you will produce evidence-based policy analysis to support local co-operative growth, ensuring that local co-operatives and national stakeholders are actively involved in the policy-making process. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team; supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to implement key administrative and financial processes.

Office Management / Administration
- Partner with managed office provider to ensure that all services are delivered as per the contract, building a strong working relationship with the building and facilities team
- Ensure that the office environment is well maintained, welcoming and conducive to productive work
- Oversee the management of office supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and ordered are placed
- Implement best practices in office management, including document management, filing systems and communication protocol
