We work with over 2000 children and young people across the UK every year and have reached over 14,000 over the past 14 years.

Responsibilities
Raising the profile of the Foundation by implementing an imaginative and inspiring programme in Marketing and Communications under the direction of the Head of Business Development.
Work with Head of Grants and Programmes to plan and timetable promotion of new grants programmes and regular promotion of ongoing programmes. Working at times with external marketing and comms teams to agree key messaging.
Compile and share a range of inspiring donor, charity and community stories and case studies which bring to life the Foundation’s impact.
Support, maintain and update the Foundation’s website, ensuring that it is inspiring, engaging and up to date with content. Help set up and access additional platforms as required e.g. online donations, raffles, other Trusts who are contracted to the Foundation.
Develop the Foundation’s wider digital presence through social media and use of content marketing to raise awareness of the Foundation’s expertise, share good news stories and promote available funding e.g. through regular charity and business newsletters.
Under the guidance and leadership of the Head of BD and CEO provide specific public relations support, including preparing press releases and producing articles for local magazines and relevant publications.
Maintain a library of relevant and up to date marketing materials, photographs illustrating the Foundation’s work and partnership logos and guidance for use. Manage permissions and GDPR for all communications work and marketing collateral.
Attend UK Community Foundations (UKCF) Marcomms meetings.
Work with the CEO to prepare and manage quarterly Board meetings for Foundation and as required other partners (incl JCT) at an executive admin level.
Preparing for meetings: prep of papers, managing dates and availability; minute taking and general administration for Board level members under clear and strict requirements around confidentiality.
Regular updating of requirements of Board incl: EDI data and references; annual Conflict of Interest; DBS and other requirements.
Supporting Chair of Trustee in their role as required and in an administrative support.
Support general office administration such as maintenance of equipment inventories and training records and PAT testing schedules and others task to ensure smooth running of the main office.
Organize events to showcase the Foundation’s work, including functions for donors, potential donors, community and voluntary groups.
Support the Head of Business development to identified campaigns and additional programmes to grow the Foundations reach. Work with Head of BD to write creative briefs and to shape to recruit additional capacity as required.
Work as an effective Ambassador for the Foundation always, including at events and external networking.
Represent the Foundation on agreed marketing and Comms networks incl UKCF and others to be agreed.
Work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the Foundation achieves excellence in grant-making and all its operational aspects.
Represent the Foundation externally as required.
Use computer equipment and software for administrative and communication duties including Canva, new website CMS, Microsoft Office, online communications, and the Salesforce Database.
Carry out other associated duties, which may arise, develop, or be assigned, in line with the scale and general nature of the post.

The role
In this role you will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and deliver fundraising initiatives that will support existing corporate partners and securing new gifts. Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day account management of existing corporate partners, new business development and the co-ordination of our payroll giving program. This will include research, prospect development, donor cultivation & stewardship, verbal & written presentations and all associated administration. Additionally, you will contribute to projects within the philanthropy & partnerships team such as events and webinars; and the wider fundraising team to collaborate on prospect development, funding opportunities and volunteering.
About you
You will be an excellent communicator, both orally and written, who is confident in speaking with supporters. You will manage your own pipeline of donors, so will need to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work, with limited supervision to achieve deadlines for multiple tasks. Agile decision making and problem-solving skills are essential.
You may have fundraising experience, but this is not essential if you have sales experience.
You will have:
- Excellent customer service skills with a background in fundraising or sales.
- Experience in new business development including identifying, researching and contacting cold prospects.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present ideas creatively and persuasively.
- Strong administrative, planning and prioritisation skills with keen attention to detail.

We develop evidence-based research and policy recommendations that are built from our support and collaboration work with survivors, key statutory service partners and NGOs. The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support the Policy & Research work of the organisation and support in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership to ensure delivery of real and tangible benefits for everyone involved, especially potential victims and survivors.
Purpose of the role
The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of Policy & Research projects and the collation of lived experience voices into our research work. You will work closely with the Policy & Partnerships Manager, the Survivor Involvement Coordinator, Senior Caseworkers and Unseen’s Survivor Consultant Volunteers and be responsible for the survivor consultant focus groups.
You will also support the Policy & Partnerships Manager in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership. Unseen facilitates the Avon & Somerset Anti-Slavery Partnership board, the Regional Anti-Slavery Partnership board and Bristol Modern Slavery Operational Partnership. We also support the chairs of other force area partnerships in the region and act as a point of contact in the Southwest, providing advice and guidance to partners and promoting proactive activity to eliminate Modern Slavery.
You will work closely with Unseen’s Policy & Research Team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Support Services, Fundraising, Media & Communications and Operations.

- Oversight of the work of the Engagement Team in linking with churches and individuals;
- Management of Interserve’s fundraising approach and activities;
- Building an effective online and social media presence that supports the objectives of engagement, including appropriately targeted media traffic that best serves Interserve’s different audiences.

- Promote the work of Crich Tramway Village to a range of organisations and individuals, developing partnership opportunities.
- In conjunction with the Marketing team, ensure the wide promotion of volunteering at the Museum through a diverse range of media.

- Liaise with the Database team to ensure that all volunteers are recorded on the system, including emergency contact and other relevant information.

Exams Assistant

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. This will include supporting examiner panels to organise and run question writing sessions and ensuring that question banks remain up to date.
You will also have a number of other examination-related duties, including – but not limited to – processing applications, invigilating at examination and collating examination results.
The College offers Fellowship examinations in 17 different pathological specialties, supported by the Examinations Team and a panel of volunteer examiners from the College’s Fellows for each specialty. The examinations are run both online and in person.
