Key responsibilities:

Data management: Bring together data securely from multiple sources such as Salesforce, Form Assembly, Engaging Networks and spreadsheets – helping to ensure it is clean and easy to work from.

Data analysis and reporting: Conduct statistical analysis on datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for service improvement, policy formation and evidence building. Present findings through reports, dashboards, and visualisations.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. The merger of Fight for Sight and Vision Foundation on 1st April 2023 has enabled us to address both questions. By combining our strengths and expertise we are now the only significant national funder with the efficiency, capability, and capacity to increase investment in medical research and social improvement. Role Responsibilities:
Individual Giving
- Support the Individual Giving Manager with day-to-day communications with our donor base, including timely database administration to capture communication preferences and personal details.
- Support the Database Manager with data and financial processes, including recording and batching donations, generating reports, contributing to supporter journeys and reconciling income.
- Undertake research into new projects and areas of fundraising and highlight areas of potential opportunities to raise income and ensure continuous supporter engagement.
- Liaise with design and print suppliers to deliver appeals and other campaigns.
- Support the Individual Giving team in-person in the office, with the processing of direct marketing appeal responses, including banking of donations and sending thank you letters.

Events and Community
- Use a CRM database to effectively administer and manage event and community activities.

- Act as the first point of contact for external enquiries and manage internal post, including sorting incoming post and organising outgoing fundraising post from head office.
- Work with the Communications team to ensure social media posts and other promotion opportunities are carefully planned and well executed.
- Work alongside the high value team Partnerships Assistant on key events and appeal tasks when required.

The Choir with No Name (CWNN) has been building supportive choir communities involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008. Your role
You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:

Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.

Producing our e-newsletter, with support from the Development team, to ensure CWNN’s key work, impact, news and campaigns are effectively promoted to our supporter base.

Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics.

Analysing campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.

Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.

Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.

Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.

Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.

Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.

Co-ordinate our internal communications programme, working with senior leadership team.

Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager.
About you

Responsibilities of our Principal Surveyor:
- line manage a team of three Regional Surveyors, providing comprehensive guidance in estate and retail matters
- responsible for a portfolio of properties, including Cats Protection centres, retail premises, residential and miscellaneous legacy properties
- monitor and report on estate condition status and maintain compliance across an assigned geographical portfolio, supporting the Head of Estates and Construction in the delivery of estate management services across the organisation
- create and maintain performance and process documentation and reporting systems across the Cats Protection Estate, including reporting on SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring consistent information across all regions
- respond to requests from the property helpdesk, including reactive and planned maintenance
- liaise with property sector agents and professionals as needed
About the Estates and Construction team:
- We ensure that Cats Protection is able to sustain its cat welfare operations and retail activities by providing Estate Management and Construction services delivering acquisition, repair, maintenance, re-development and disposal services for an estate portfolio of circa 196 properties including 34 Cat Centres, 79 Shops and other Cats Protection premises across the UK. Together with the Safety, Health and Environment Team and Facilities we ensure regulatory/legal compliance of properties.
- The Estates and Construction Team consists of approximately 17 personnel, including three Regional Surveyors
What we’re looking for in our Principal Surveyor:
- an experienced Surveyor (level 6 or higher) with significant post-qualification experience surveying in a property management or facilities management environment
- member of professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB
- experience managing a team of employees
- performance orientated, with an organized and methodical approach
- knowledge of retail acquisitions, disposals and leases
- multi-site property management experience
- experience managing minor project work including small building projects (up to £500k)
- understanding of estates compliance
- Competent with all Microsoft Office programmes
- a full, valid, UK driving licence

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Community Fundraiser who will proactively engage with supporters, community groups and volunteers across the West Midlands to join their team of 12 Community Fundraisers across the UK.
The Community Fundraiser (West Midlands) is responsible for providing support and guidance to fundraisers within their communities to achieve their ambitions and ultimately raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. This is achieved through a wide variety of activities such as helping supporters to make the most of their own fundraising, engaging participants with externally organised events such as the Great Birmingham Run, and encouraging communities to get involved in events organised by Brain Tumour Research such as Wear a Hat Day and Walk for Hope. The Community Fundraiser will be the face of Brain Tumour Research in the area, providing excellent stewardship to existing supporters, and building great relationships with new supporters.
This post has been vacant since Autumn, and as such needs a fundraiser with confidence and capability in fundraising to join the team, provide donor love to the loyal supporters in the area, and approach developing the areas potential with energy and enthusiasm. They will develop the organisation’s capacity to include an economics perspective in its work, to support costing of improved and new delivery strategies and interventions and to contribute to cost-effectiveness analysis of the interventions to strengthen Malaria Consortium’s capacity to track Value for Money (VfM) in its work.
The postholder will also provide technical assistance to Ministries of Health and other partners and contribute to the evaluation of the benefits of new or proposed health policies. The post-holder will be actively involved in organisational activities such as working groups, and technical team meetings.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in economics, medical or health sciences, public health, mathematics, statistics or other relevant area in development
- A postgraduate qualification in health economics
- Significant experience of undertaking costing exercises and economic evaluations
- Experience building health economic models from scratch e.g. cost-effectiveness, budget impact and Markov models
- Experience in using decision analysis methods and software
- Experience in using statistical analysis software (STATA, SPSS or R)
