Who will I be changing the lives of?

All of our learners have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and as a result all have some level of additional need.  Some of the most common areas of need that we see are Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASC), ADHD although we work with learners with a much broader range of needs. 

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning and delivery of Functional Skills Maths and/or English.
• To deliver and implement teaching and learning practices to raise student standards and progress
• To develop and deliver high quality teaching materials and schemes of learning that keep students engaged using creativity, differentiation and extension tasks
• Plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, taking account of the needs of pupils who are underachieving, those that are able and those that are excelling in Maths  or English
• To meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SENCO to prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual Educational Packages.
• To provide a high-quality student experience that enables students to succeed beyond their expectations
• Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college
• Working with students from Pre-Entry to Level 2
• Responsible for comprehensive marking and written and verbal feedback for students
• Working in conjunction with the Outstanding and Good criteria for OFSTED
• To participate in weekly group engagement activities such as bowling, nature walks, climbing, graffiti workshops etc to ensure you build a strong rapport with all students.

 Main purpose of post

This role will lead our individual giving campaigns ensuring key audiences see the impact of the charity and are motivated to donate to support the continuation of our work.  It will build on existing successful campaigns, including our Christmas Star appeal, and create new and engaging additions.  You will ensure the donor journey is sensitive, engaging and straightforward and place a high importance on the ongoing stewardship of donors.

You will report to the Head of Fundraising and work alongside our Fundraising Team to ensure plans align and budget targets are achieved. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager and Data Manager to target individual giving effectively across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire. 

This is the perfect role for anyone who loves to plan and see those plans through to completion, who has excellent customer care skills and who is digitally savvy. You will enjoy working as part of a busy fundraising team and collaborating to achieve collective success.

Key Responsibilities  

· Lead and implement the individual giving donor journey to increase the charity’s individual gifts including regular and pay roll giving.

· Lead the creation of fundraising individual giving campaigns to recruit new donors, retain existing supporters and grow reach, engagement and income.

· Lead the development of new individual giving campaigns, working closely with the Campaign Manager, to deliver direct marketing campaigns across various channels, which enhance current supporters understanding of the difference their donation makes and also encourages new supporters to donate to our cause and projects.

· To create new individual giving income opportunities, including introducing a charity lottery.

· Review and evaluate campaigns against income and impact success factors and implement improvements.

· Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.

· Be responsible for an income target of a minimum of £300,000 per annum.

· Manage relationships with existing supporters to ensure a high level of donor care is achieved whilst achieving and maximising income opportunities.

· Analyse and segment the charity's supporter base, developing appropriate supporter journeys and propositions, and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.

· Utilise digital methods and platforms for new donor acquisition.

· To assist in the delivery of a range of donor, supporter and staff engagement events throughout the year in line with our donor recognition & stewardship plan.

· Contribute to development of the fundraising annual plan to drive forward the charity’s ambitious plans for change and growth in line with the 3 year strategy.

· Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM (Raiser’s Edge).

· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with laws and best practice governing charitable activity, most notably General Data Protection Regulations, Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice and charity law.

· Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team.

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to attend charity fundraising events.

· Able to work flexibly, including occasionally working in the evenings and at weekends.

Main purpose of the role:

After a period of financial transformation, we are now looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper / Credit Controller. The successful candidate is responsible to provide accurate and timely financial information to both the Community and the National Team. In particular, maintain accurate records of income and expenditure using Microsoft Business Central (Accounting software) and liaise closely with the wider team across L'Arche. TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is looking for Mental Health Practitioners to become an integral part of the Greater Manchester Crisis Care Pathway.

Safe Zones is a service for any young person aged under 18 within the Greater Manchester area who is at risk of experiencing a crisis in their mental wellbeing.

TLC’s Safe Zones for Stockport will work in partnership, to form a holistic voluntary sector step down approach to the crisis care pathway.

Young People accessing Safe Zones can benefit from needs led, bespoke support packages delivered through individual sessions and group work.

This role works within a wider partnership that provides a range of interventions to children and young people, families, and the wider community.

The Role

You will support children and young people (CYP) whose mental health is significantly impacting the way they are feeling and living their lives. 

As part of a wider step-down crisis service, you will explore to understand the presenting needs of children and young people, using your knowledge of therapeutic interventions to provide effective emotional wellbeing support.

By providing care and crisis support for young people and their families you will provide risk assessments /assessment of need, solution focused interventions combining de-escalation, safety planning, de-stress management, resilience building, and integrated emotional wellbeing and mental health support.

You will act as single point of contact for referrals and attend triage and wider MDT meetings. 

Undertake line management responsibilities and offer support to Safe Zones employees.

The Role

As a freelance Community Moderator you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of exceptional supporter experiences as the voice of our charity partners working predominately in Facebook challenge groups.

You will work on behalf of some of the best known and best loved charity brands in the UK and beyond, helping to raise vital funds for their incredible causes.

You will use your excellent written communication skills to respond to supporter enquiries, post content, and generate engaged and safe online communities, whilst encouraging event participants and helping them achieve their fundraising goals.

You will do this accurately and in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail and be expected to understand and adopt our clients social media tone of voice and brand guidelines elevating every supporter interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Charity Partners
  • Deliver an authentic in-house supporter experience and bring our charity partners’ social media tone of voice, brand and principles to life in every interaction you deliver.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols to protect the wellbeing of supporters taking part in events, escalating as and when required.
• Supporter Experience
  • Moderate challenge campaign Facebook Groups, posting engaging content that inspires and motivates the community, both ad-hoc and with scheduled posts at the correct times following approved content plans.
  • Respond to high levels of supporter enquiries via multiple channels within our agreed SLAs.
  • Engage with supporters posts, answering questions with accurate and timely responses and creating a supportive and safe community environment.
  • Ensure every supporter has an excellent experience providing first time resolution where possible and taking ownership of outcomes when not.
• Fundraising
  • Provide fundraising support to event participants advising on best practice to maximise their fundraising opportunities.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong social media moderation experience and/or customer service/charity fundraising experience is a must.
• Must have excellent written communication skills.
• Must demonstrate good technical skills and experience with social media.
• Must be organised and able to work independently.
• Must be able to professionally represent Social Mind and our charity partners in all communications.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be a part of the project from the very beginning, playing a key role in its success. You will work closely with other members of the project team, as well as our partners Avon Wildlife Trust, to support the development and successful delivery of the project at Grow Wilder in Bristol.

Through regular online engagement and monthly visits to the Grow Wilder site, you will support us in facilitating an intergenerational co-design process, using eco-cultural mapping and other participatory methods. Involving key stakeholders, including Avon Wildlife Trust, a Youth Leadership Group of young people aged 12-18 living locally to Grow Wilder, land knowledge holders and the wider community, this process will enable participants to collectively develop an ambitious vision for the future of Grow Wilder. One of the outcomes of this process will be a shared plan for restoring nature and improving biodiversity at Grow Wilder, which will be implemented throughout the lifetime of the project and beyond.

Working in collaboration with our partners Avon Wildlife Trust, you will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to the project team. You will also lead or support a variety of engaging sessions, webinars and hands-on activities with the project partners, young people, community groups and other project stakeholders.
