Age UK is recruiting for a Partner Communications Manager to develop and oversee communication channels and plans which are aligned to our strategic objectives and which ensure our network colleagues feel supported, informed, included.
Working closely with Age UK's Chief Network Officer, Director of Network Support and Engagement, and Head of Internal Communications, you will be part of a team leading on a communications strategy which helps to make the Age UK network a great network to be a part of.
You'll collaborate with colleagues across Age UK and the Age UK network to develop inspiring content so we can best support people the Age UK network and help them in their work to improve the lives of older people.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the post-holder and are not covered by the charity.

The Role

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming ‘Home from Home’

around 3,500 families a year with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the
hospital means that they can be by their sick child’s side and have one less thing to worry

The role
This is a wide-ranging community fundraising role. Activities include supporting family
fundraising and third-party events in the south such as The Royal Parks Half Marathon and
The Brighton Marathon. You will be required to forge, develop and grow new and existing
fundraising opportunities and relationships with local businesses, community organisations
and schools.
Key to this, is the provision of a sensitive and effective supporter journey for new and
existing supporters.
Also, you will work collaboratively with the fundraising department and the
communications and marketing team to ensure effective integration of campaigns and

participate in a range of third-party events and support the organisation.

comfortable supporting families who stay with us who want to fundraise, as you are

This is an exciting opportunity for a Performance and Planning Marketing & Communications professional who wants to help develop and grow Maggie’s profile, reach and reputation across the UK.

- Conduct analysis, in collaboration with data analysts and insights colleagues, of our Maggie’s visitors support journeys. Establishing any important themes on our visitor retention and acquisition, to inform our Brand, Communications and Marketing strategy, as well as our Programme strategy.
- Lead Maggie’s brand campaign analysis, working in collaboration with communications and marketing colleagues and key external stakeholders. As part of this, support the evaluation of the effectiveness of our marketing activity, including brand tracking and visitor marketing.
- Support the Marketing and Communications Director in evidence-based marketing and communications strategy development and functional planning, based on audience data and insights.
Essential skills and experience
- In-depth knowledge of working within a Brand, Communications and/or Marketing function
- Experience of carrying out mixed method analysis and evaluation of data, qualitative and quantitative, to develop communication and marketing plans and strategy

As Content Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and iterating the content framework. The framework describes the what, why, and how of producing high-quality, effective content at Battersea:
- What: Defining content pillars and content types that the content team works on.

Mencap are recruiting for a Parliamentary Affairs Officer on a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract. We are flexible with where you do your work, but we would love you to work in our London office once a week, more if you wish to.
Your primary role as a Parliamentary Affairs Officer is to support our work in Parliament and across Whitehall by helping to build and maintain relationships with MPs, Peers, Ministers and Civil Servants. You will work to actively bring the lived experience of people with a learning disability and their families into the heart of parliamentary debate as well as to the ear of key decision makers. You will be working with the Public Affairs and Parliamentary Manager on briefings, legislative work, and parliamentary engagement as well as aiding the organisation of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Learning Disability.

What will the Parliamentary Affairs Officer do?
- Contribute to delivering Mencap’s public affairs strategy in Westminster, including briefings for debates and questions and influencing bills.

- Monitor Parliamentary business, highlight opportunities to build Mencap’s influence and identify developments that might negatively impact the charity or people with a learning disability.
- Work with colleagues across Mencap to design and deliver Parliamentary elements of Mencap’s campaigns.
- Support people with a learning disability to engage with Parliamentarians through the APPG on Learning Disability and to meet with MPs.

About the Role
As our Senior Media Officer, you will play a vital part in our busy media team by delivering dynamic and creative campaigns to influence Government and NHS policy as well as supporting the team's Press Office function, capitalising on PR opportunities, improving stakeholder buy-in, and reducing reputational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of the health communications yearly plan, aiming to raise awareness of heart and circulatory diseases through the media.
- Work with Medical and Marketing teams to propose, develop, and deliver ambitious and influential communications campaigns.
- Deliver PR activity that supports the BHF’s priority health and influencing campaigns, including reporting on improving survival rates from cardiac arrest through our Revivr and The Circuit programmes, reducing risk factors for cardiovascular disease, and influencing around NHS healthcare.
- Create engaging content and press releases aimed at a range of different audiences to position the BHF as a leading voice in media narratives around health and policy and promoting the BHF’s information and support services to patients.
No two days will be the same as you play a key part in responding quickly to breaking news and bringing the human impact of our research to life, you will foster productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring people with heart and circulatory diseases receive accurate information through the media.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dually located between your home and our London office.
As the role supports the BHF’s busy press office, you will participate in our out of hour’s service on a rotational shift basis

About you
