About the role:
The Digital Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Digital team. We are a friendly, creative, and supportive team, responsible for raising awareness and growing the brand of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, as well as our website, email, social, direct mail, paid advertising and more. This is a particularly exciting time to join our growing team as we shape and improve the charity’s digital approach and prepare to launch a new large-scale capital fundraising appeal.
As Digital Officer you'll work closely with Marketing and digital colleagues, as well as fundraising teams across the organisation. You will be a key player in maintaining and improving the charity’s digital presence, focussing on website management and web content, keeping our supporters and audiences at the heart of everything you do.
It is also an exciting time to join our digital team, as this role will begin part way through a redevelopment of our website. The Digital Officer will play a vital part in supporting the wider digital team to QA and deploy the new site, and support the Digital teams efforts to embed new ways of working and processes for the new site and ongoing roadmap.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support day-to-day management and improvement of the website. Includes content updates to ensure information is correct and up-to-date, and editing pages as needed across the site, following digital best practice.
- Support with the blog content calendar and blog content creation. Writing, building, publishing and optimising digital content, then measuring performance using tools like GA4 and Hotjar.
- Embedding and promoting digital best practice. Ensuring new content developed follows digital, SEO and UX best practices and supporting colleagues within the charity to understand and deliver the best digital experience across key campaigns by providing advice, recommendations and feedback.
- Supporting the wider Digital Team in delivering a training programme across the organisation, which will embed our new content creation process and build digital skills across the organisation.
To be successful in your application you'll need:
- Professional experience using CMS (Content Management Systems) and knowledge of website management, on-page and technical SEO and digital best practice. Knowledge of UX is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using data tools, such as Google Analytics for reporting and identifying actionable insights.
- Excellent copywriting, editorial and proofreading skills.
- Experience in writing for the web or digital channels and creating content tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to communicate, work collaboratively and build good working relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work proactively and manage multiple projects concurrently.
The following are beneficial to your application but not essential:
- Experience of digital collaboration and project management tools like Trello, MS teams or JIRA.
- Experience in a similar role within a complex organisation, charity or health/science organisation.
- Experience of working with contractors, agencies and freelancers.

Purpose of the Collections Care and Conservation Manager role:
We are looking for an experienced Collections Care and Conservation Manager to join the Museum team at an exciting time as we prepare for a major store move and develop vibrant and engaging new exhibitions.
You will manage the development and delivery of collections care and conservation projects and facilities across the three Museum sites as well as a range of activities to ensure the preservation of collections while promoting wider public access to the RAF story and volunteer engagement.
Key responsibilities of our Collections Care and Conservation Manager include:
- Lead the collections care and conservation team, integrating staff and volunteers to condition assess, document, clean and conserve objects ranging from aircraft and uniforms to personal papers and art works so they can be shared with audiences on site, offsite and online.
- Plan, manage and monitor the delivery of programmes for the conservation of and access to the Museum’s collections, planning activities, managing risk, time and resources in accordance with professional standards, policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Ensure the safe, secure, effective and efficient management of the conservation team, volunteers, contractors, conservation materials, equipment and facilities.
- Ensure an effective balance is made between long-term preservation, restoration and the Museum’s access and interpretation objectives.
- Manage the Collections Disaster Response and Salvage Plan, acting as lead contact in emergencies relating to collections, liaising with the Visitor Experience Supervisors to ensure effective incident management, damage reporting and to support wider emergency planning through the Museum’s Incident Management Plan.
- Support and facilitate the Museum’s commercial activities
What we are looking for in our Collections Care and Conservation Manager:
- Relevant experience in managing, maintaining and conserving museum collections, notably in relation to stored collections, collection moves and exhibition projects.
- Demonstrable experience of implemented collections care in line with professional standards and best practice.
- Communicates in a straightforward manner, demonstrating respect and acting with integrity and impartiality.
- Recognises scope of own authority for decision making and empowers team members to make appropriate decisions.
- Relevant conservation or collections management qualification.

As a Youth Opportunities Coordinator, you will play a key role in transforming the lives of young people in our accommodation services in Greenwich. In this role, you will lead the Young People’s Opportunity Programme, providing dynamic workshops and sessions focused on art therapy, sport and health, wellbeing, and life skills. About the role:
The British Museum is embarking on one of the most significant cultural redevelopment projects undertaken anywhere in the world. will transform the Museum for the 21st century while staying open, maintaining the founding commitment to keep the collection safe and accessible to the public for generations to come.
The Philanthropy Team, as a key function of Advancement, will play a vital role in enabling the Museum's vision for the future. As such, the team is expanding, with new roles created to accommodate priority projects including a major acquisition campaign, capital and increased revenue targets for exhibitions and core work.
Key areas of responsibility:
The Associate Head of Philanthropy: Campaigns will be responsible for:
- Cultivating relationships with significant philanthropists with the capacity to give at principal gift level, ensuring support for Masterplan and other Museum priorities.
- Collaborating internally with Museum colleagues on the development and execution of high-profile fundraising campaigns across the breadth of the organisation's work.
- Launching and administering the Director's Masterplan Council to enable peer-to-peer approaches to major philanthropists.
About you:
Above all else, the post holder will need to be a pro-active, results-driven individual who remains focused and productive under pressure. Solid experience of managing senior relationships with major funders in the cultural or heritage sector is essential. As is experience of consulting and influencing internal stakeholders, at all levels, and outstanding communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
The role will support generating vital income to the Horniman Museum and Gardens through efficient database management, financial processing, the delivery of appealing events and benefits, and promotional communications.
About You
You will have good administrative experience and understanding of relational databases and will be a confident IT user (including Outlook and Excel skills). You’ll be able to organise your tasks efficiently and work to an exceptional level of accuracy.
