What will you do:
As Services Co-Ordinator, you will take the lead on two of Headway UK’s vital services. You will be responsible for processing applications to our Emergency Fund, which provides travel and hotel grants to family members, to support them to be at the bedside of loved ones, when their family member is in hospital, after acquiring a brain injury. Your role will include making recommendations for funding, signposting applicants onto other organisations, keeping detailed records and producing basic financial reports to highlight the Emergency Funds’ position throughout the year.
You will also lead the annual renewal of the Headway UK’s Solicitor’s Directory, ensuring it remains a vital resource for those seeking specialist solicitors with experience in handling brain injury cases.
You will work alongside colleagues within the wider Services Department to provide exceptional co-ordination and administrative support, to some of our direct services, including training and our network of local independent Headway charities and volunteer led branches.
On occasion you will also be required to work with the Project Lead for Brain Injury Identity Cards and assist with processing Brain Injury Identity Card applications.

Part 1: Role Purpose:
Street Child is looking for a dynamic, confident individual with a passion for communications and a drive to make a difference.
We need a Global Communications Officer who is adaptable, personable, has an attention to detail and is ready to tackle any task with gusto. We are looking for someone who can drive forward our owned channel development, grow our website traffic and social media channels whilst maintaining strong platform engagement rates to generate fundraising.
Our ideal candidate will also create fresh campaigns with market cut through, develop clear, creative collateral, support our growing global advocacy efforts and identify opportunities for telling stories from Street Child’s programmes around the world. An eye for design and some basic editing skills is a bonus.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
1. Social channel content creation, maintenance and development
- Lead on the development and maintenance of the Street Child social channels, pushing forward our social strategy with a relentless focus on growth and engagement. Develop, create, and manage engaging content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), including identifying strategies for viral and timely content.
- Craft compelling copy and visuals that align with our brand voice and promote Street Child programmes around the world.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends and opportunities for Street Child’s social media presence.
2. Day-to-day website content updates & maintenance
- Lead on the day-to-day content updates and maintenance of the Street Child website, working to a turnaround time of 48 hours for business-as-usual activity.
- Work with external web developers to ensure Street Child’s website is optimised for raising awareness of our work, engaging supporters and raising funds.
- Develop high-quality written and visual content optimised for web, including managing our blog to ensure a steady output of content on Street Child programme areas, including primary education work, education in emergencies, and humanitarian programmes.
3. Communications resource for global fundraising teams
- Support the strategic development and communications needs of European and North American entities, ensuring a strong cohesive global voice for Street Child.
- Support global fundraising teams on all communication resource needs, including but not limited to event publicity/promotion, key appeal content and community resource generation.
- Support the creation of content/collateral for fundraising teams.
- Support the development of corporate communications, including but not limited to the design of impact reports, event promotion and publicity.
- Work with colleagues in other fundraising teams to establish communication calendars and plan for their respective areas of work, identifying communication needs and deadlines ahead of time.
4. Global advocacy communications support
- Support the delivery of global advocacy events, such as UNGA and World Economic Forum.
- Support corporate communications strategies around global advocacy events, such as UNGA and World Economic Forum.
- Craft compelling advocacy messages for Street Child-owned channels, working closely with our global programmes experts to position the organisation as though-leaders in the global education sector.
5. Wider MMC support
- Support the delivery of key content and assets for media.
- Support the contracting of in-country photographers and videographers.
- Support the individual giving donor mapping and communications development, helping to deepen and develop our donor relationships and increase unrestricted fundraising.

The team is responsible for retaining supporters and building relationships to maximise lifetime value to the charity, predominantly by generating ongoing cash donations, regular gifts and legacy pledges.
We are looking for a passionate fundraiser or direct marketer with a hands-on approach to deliver effective fundraising campaigns across the UK and Norway and work closely with the Italy and Ireland teams to maximise supporter engagement and long-term income growth for Sightsavers.
To succeed in this role you will have:
* experience in Fundraising or Direct Marketing to include implementing successful direct marketing campaigns to mass market audiences
* previous experience with the print process, working with agencies, data and managing campaign budgets
* project management and planning skills as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible person to lead the Energy Team based in Wrexham. Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and lead-deliver a wide variety of energy and carbon reduction projects and activities with communities, businesses, and individuals across North Wales.
- Plan and support the Energy Advice Team to deliver our service in line with all funder and contract requirements, ensuring quality of support, time management and report requirements are all completed in appropriate time aligned with all requirements.
- Manage and monitor the Energy Advice Team through performance monitoring and monthly review.
- Using a standard Groundwork Federation GHG Inventory Tool for emission reporting develop, deliver and monitor our annual carbon reduction plan, working with business managers to ensure data is recoded correctly and improvements to our carbon footprint are made.
- Facilitate the renewal of the Green Dragon accreditation, implementing and managing our internal environment systems and processes up to a level 3 standard.
- Arrange and carry out home visits to support residents in reducing their carbon emissions and to save money by lowering the level of consumption and cost of energy.
- Advocate and liaise for householders with energy companies and gas and electric network providers to ensure customers receive the best possible deal for their requirements.
- Work with referral partners to identify vulnerable households, and evidence eligibility to provide support with energy advice and administer emergency fuel vouchers.
- Provide effective support, both advisory and practical, to enable people to make positive changes to their behaviour and to improve the quality of their lives; record actions and highlight the importance of keeping warm to the health and wellbeing of residents.
- Assist residents to access other relevant and complementary services and agencies, liaising with other agencies to assist residents to access funding and support to deliver larger energy efficiency measures.
- Liaise with residents on a day-to-day basis in a professional and friendly manner and build good working relationships with them either face to face or through the provision of telephone advice.
- Oversee the booking and scheduling of visits and respond to referrals from funders in a timely manner.
- Oversee the ordering of stock, ensuring stock levels are maintained and stock is monitored closely.
- Undertake monitoring information and reporting requirements as required by the Trust and funders, ensuring all the funders’ requirements are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Run events or energy surgeries to raise awareness of projects in local communities.
- Deliver outreach activities to generate referrals, e.g. door-knocking, events, road shows, etc.
- Work flexibly as part of the Energy Advice Team and across other teams, including occasional weekend working.
- Contribute to the business development of the Energy Business Area by identifying needs within the sector and collecting evaluation evidence and factual data that back up any development of new bids and tenders.
- Represent the Trust professionally to internal and external contacts, assisting with the promotion of projects and the broader activities of the Trust.

About the Role
This role is an opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience across a broad range of incomes streams while also providing essential administrative support across our small charity. You will already have strong digital skills and will take the lead on developing our digital fundraising through expanding the effectiveness and reach of our social media. You will oversee the administration of our Peak Partners scheme for businesses and lead on signing up new bronze and silver level partners. You will also lead on community fundraising - supporting individuals and groups who want to fundraise for the Foundation. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the National Park.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a digital communications background who wants to develop skills in fundraising, or an individual with some fundraising or sales experience who is looking to move into the environmental sector. You will be a confident communicator and willing to muck in and be a key part of our small friendly team.
