About the role
Your key purpose will be responsible for developing inspiring and compelling written content to support income generation and raise awareness of our important work. The postholder will need to bring knowledge and understanding of what makes a good story, working closely with teams across the charity to capture and develop engaging content for a myriad audiences.

About you

You will possess an unyielding attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a passion for creativity.

About the role
This role is important in amplifying the work we do and furthering our influence with corporate enterprises, small businesses and the government. You will shape our messaging and communications with stakeholders, especially through the production of our thought leadership and publications, as well as helping drive engagement with stakeholders through different channels including media and socials. You will work closely with the Head of the Knowledge Centre to provide the expertise needed to make this team a success.

Thought Leadership Reports
Content Development
- Work across the organisation with other teams to create impactful content.
- Provide writing and editing support for thought leadership reports, ensuring high-quality content with a clear narrative, compelling headlines, and a consistent tone of voice.
- Provide detailed feedback when collaborating with freelancers.
- Create forewords for our CEO, ensuring alignment with the report’s themes.
Design Collaboration
- Work closely with our design agency on the report's design, ensuring it aligns with our brand guidelines.
- Conduct a final edit of reports to ensure overall quality assurance.
Project Budgeting
- Monitor and manage the budget related to report production and promotion.
Promotion and Distribution
- Have ownership of the promotion and distribution of content and its tracking, so that we can learn what works and continuously improve.
- Develop and provide copy for social media posts, ensuring effective promotion of reports.
- Build and manage report landing pages on the website, incorporating UTM parameters.
- Create press release landing pages on the website and manage related media plans.
- Assist in devising and executing media plans for report launches.
Media relations
- Developing media relations strategy that includes National, Regional and Trade publications.
- Draft and pitch press releases about Be the Business’ work.
- Lead on reporting for media output, producing slides for review at team and management meetings.
Publications
- Lead the calendar of report publications for Be the Business, in coordination with the other parts of the organisation.
- Set and maintain tone of voice across any external publications.
CEO profile
- Lead on drafting speeches, op-eds, and commentary for the CEO including management of social media output.
- Produce and manage LinkedIn content and engagement.
- Develop and agree a strategy for raising CEO profile.
Stakeholder engagement
- Assist in organising and supporting events such as policy briefings, roundtables, and stakeholder meetings.
- Drafting communications to stakeholders including government and leading businesses.
- Contribute to the implementation of stakeholder engagement plans to support advocacy initiatives.

Overview
The Green Team was founded in 1995 to support young people to succeed in achieving the Duke of Edinburgh award. Since then, the team has grown significantly and now offers nine programmes along with corporate volunteering days and holiday activities. The role
To co-lead the charity promoting the mission, aims, values and objectives, be directly responsible for specific agreed areas of the charity’s corporate operations while overseeing and ensuring the success of these operations. To increase income generation, specifically unrestricted funds, enhance existing financial controls, and impact reporting. To also ensure there are clear and impactful communications, partnerships and marketing approaches for the development of the Green Team.
Work in partnership with the Co-CEO Programmes to advise the Trustees on the strategic direction of the organisation and to implement Board decisions. To ensure the sustainability of the Green Team, with a focus on increasing unrestricted funds to achieve longevity of the organisation.

Communications and Fundraising Coordinator
The new role of Communications and Fundraising Coordinator will be the first role in PDA Society which is exclusively dedicated to increasing our sustainability.

This newly created position will become part of the Public Fundraising team and will develop and implement a legacy fundraising programme that will allow the charity to realise the great untapped potential of gifts in wills for the Charity. The Legacy Fundraising Manager will be tasked with increasing the number of legacy enquirers and pledgers from existing and new supporters and contribute to the charity’s sustainable long-term income growth
Gifts in wills are an important income stream for the charity, last year raising over £2M towards our fundraised income, despite limited promotion in this area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legacy fundraiser to really make their mark and develop a programme of activity that will feed our future legacy pipeline.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Developing and driving forward an engaging and inspiring programme of activity that will increase numbers of legacy enquirers and pledgers from existing and new supporters.
- Project managing legacy fundraising activities, including creative development, briefing and managing external suppliers, briefing data selections and assessing results.
- Managing a legacy pipeline - engaging prospects, generating enquiries, moving supporters from enquirers to pledgers, stewarding pledgers and legator family members.
- Applying a strategic approach to legacy fundraising, producing annual fundraising plans, and contributing to longer term strategic growth of legacy income for the charity.
- As the programme grows there will likely be opportunities to develop and deliver legacy cultivation and stewardship events, alongside a digital and offline communication plan - making the most of existing events in the calendar as well as working with colleagues in the major giving team to explore other opportunities to engage those on the legacy pipeline in person.
This position would ideally suit a candidate with;
- A strong track record of legacy fundraising, with a broad knowledge of the gifts in wills marketplace and an ability to champion legacies
- Excellent experience and knowledge of relationship fundraising, marketing, cultivation and stewardship techniques needed for legacy fundraising
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, and competent using data and insight to plan supporter focused activity
- Passion for improving healthcare and patient experience for the people of East London, and in supporting the amazing NHS staff who work for this Health Trust

The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.

Working with the Footwork Director and Advisory Board, the main purpose of the role is to oversee and coordinate overall delivery of Footwork’s new five-year strategy and to take a leadership role in maximizing fundraising opportunities. Footwork is a small but ambitious charity with an established reputation in global health networks and partnerships. The Role
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help to maximise income through fundraising appeals, provide beneficiary support and increase supporter retention through digital channels
Key responsibilities will include:
· Plan and implement digital fundraising campaigns

· Lead on the development of Weston Hospicecare’s Legacy and In Memory fundraising strategy, using your expertise to analyse activity and grow this area of income, building the financial resilience of the Hospice.
· Inspire support by developing a compelling Legacy fundraising proposition to encourage support from existing and new supporters.
· Deliver results through inspiring communications and promotional activity, bringing to life the extraordinary work of Weston Hospicecare and driving legacy pledges and support.
