As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a vital role in securing funding from companies and businesses to help drive forward our work. We rely completely on voluntary funding to fund our work, and our corporate partnerships play a huge role in enabling us to do this, year after year. The successful candidate will be starting with an excellent baseline and portfolio but will really be able to build the pipeline, taking our partnerships to the next strategic level.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will:
- Account manage a range of corporate partnerships from cause related marketing, to charity of the year and staff fundraising
- Build a new business pipeline and secure new partners
- Line manage the Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer within the high-value team
- Work with the wider Income and Engagement team to deliver to income targets

About the role

About you
This role requires experience of line managing employees, experience in managing a shop including knowledge of retail and health and safety legislation and administrative/cash handling experience.
You will also have an ability to deal with customers and maintaining a high level of customer service, have good verbal, written communication skills, as well as being comfortable using IT and EPOS reporting. You will have an ability to motivate yourself and others, have excellent organisational skills and be comfortable working under pressure and dealing with changing priorities.

As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. Sue Ryder is looking for a Fundraising Operations Development Manager to join the Fundraising team, playing a crucial role in leading the implementation and management of Sue Ryder’s world-class fundraising operations model, while overseeing the successful delivery of our key strategic projects
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Supporter Experience, Data and Insight, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the fundraising directorate ensuring that our Supporter Experience, Data and Insight team provide exceptional service to our internal customers, reviewing key fundraising processes and ensuring that our fundraising operations works as effectively, and efficiently as possible to support Sue Ryders fundraising strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and report on fundraising operations performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as project deliverables within the fundraising operations remit.
- Ensure the experiences of key stakeholders is in line with our strategic aims, as defined in world-class fundraising operations strategy.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify new ways of working, to enhance and improve fundraising operations processes and systems, and to develop and manage central process resources.
- Oversee and help coordinate cross departmental and cross organisational fundraising operations projects
- Oversee the wider team’s priorisation process and ensure information is available for periodic reviews.
- Manage line reports within organisational guidelines undertaking necessary management responsibilities.
About You:
- Strategic understanding of effective fundraising operations, including the ability to translate strategy into operational plans, develop processes to achieve strategic aims, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Experience leading and delivering projects successfully within clear and communicated timelines.
- Experience working effectively in a complex organisation of a similar scale and breadth of fundraising.
- Experience of Change Management and Improvement and effective approaches.
- Ability to evaluate processes and workflows holistically to identify areas for improvement and drive process improvement and change.
- Data and Technical Skills with an understanding of the importance of clean and consistent data for business planning

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager to join our Governance & Fellowship Office, providing key support in the delivery of the Academy’s overall EDI ambitions across all aspects of its work.
The Role
Working closely with the Academy’s senior management and workstream leads within other teams, you will oversee the delivery of the Academy’s ambitious EDI activity and strategy. With experience of supporting and delivering EDI initiatives in similar contexts (HE, research funding, fellowship bodies or the charity sector), you will be responsible for both overseeing current and ongoing EDI activity, as well as initiating new areas of work as needed.
You will need excellent communication skills, to be able to liaise and report internally across all levels but also to provide high-quality external communications and act as an ambassador for the Academy and its work.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of the statutory and best-practice contexts of EDI matters and be able to bring these to inform the Academy’s activity, acting as both internal adviser across Teams and the Fellowship and an ally for staff, researchers and the audiences we serve. You will have an understanding of the specific EDI challenges within the UK HE funding and research sector, and work closely with internal and external partners to develop responses and new initiatives. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver new EDI initiatives, but also to influence our governance and accountability processes to ensure EDI outcomes are measurable and effective. You will play a key role in implementing the Academy’s cross-cutting EDI strategy, and ensuring this is evidence-based and supports our role as a key player in the UK HE and Research landscape.
This post sits within the Governance and Fellowship Office and reports directly to the Head of Fellowship Engagement & Governance. This Team supports the Chief Executive and the President of the British Academy, as well as its executive and strategic committees (Council and Senior Management Team). The Office also provides core Fellowship support, including their biannual meetings, nomination and election processes and a number of Fellowship engagement activities. This means that not only will your EDI activity be embedded across the main governance functions of the Academy, but you will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and decision makers across all of our work.

Overall Purpose of Role
The Corporate and Individual Donor Manager will play a leading role in driving our fundraising strategy, cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and individual donors to secure vital funding for our programmes.
