As a Volunteering Services Officer, you’ll play a vital role in maximizing the impact of our 650-strong volunteer workforce while enjoying a supportive and values-driven workplace. You will:

• Lead the training and induction process for new volunteers.

• Support volunteer managers to strengthen volunteer engagement practices.

Main purpose of role:

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver innovative direct marketing campaigns that drive donor engagement across our regular giving and cash programmes. As an Individual Giving Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our fundraising program. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Project manage multiple direct marketing campaigns delivering accurate campaigns on time, on budget and to a high standard.

• Work across the organisation to gather engaging content for our direct marketing activities. Write and review copy for collateral used for engagement, conversion and acquisition activities.

• Completing relevant campaign management documents including post-activity analysis reports, identifying learnings and recommendations for future campaigns, and writing internal and external briefs.

• Support the Head of Individual Giving with forecasting and reporting across financial and non-financial KPIs in relation to the Individual Giving programme.

• Ensure excellent communication and liaison between the St Martin’s Charity’s Fundraising team, marketing agencies, suppliers and key stakeholders.

• Work with the CRM Manager to ensure that all campaign data is utilised and captured efficiently, effectively and accurately.

• Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the Charity optimises digital fundraising opportunities in relation to individual giving.

• Acting as a day-to-day contact with external agencies ensuring high quality delivery of campaigns on time and on budget.

• Maintain a close working relationship with the Supporter Care Officer so that they are aware of all activity and able to respond to enquiries and complaints

• Keep abreast of key individual giving fundraising trends and issues and the regulatory environment.

Role Overview

Around 75% of your time will be devoted to securing funding from trusts and foundations. This includes researching, identifying new opportunities and crafting compelling, tailored funding applications. The remaining time will be dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with new, lapsed and existing major donors and developing creative and engaging stewardship plans to inspire and secure high value gifts.

About you

This is a great role for someone with previous experience of both Trust Fundraising and Major Donor Fundraising. You’ll have excellent communication skills to enable you to quickly build solid, strong relationships both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent writing skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and CRM experience. In these challenging times you’ll need to channel your creative skills to develop exciting stewardship plans.

The role
 
This is an exciting role, to liaise and support partner organisations to ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date, coded correctly on UH’s cashbooks and reconciled against bank statements. You will also provide technical support to partners’ finance staff and train them on the use of the cashbooks and financial reporting to UH.
 
You will be educated to degree level and have experience in a fast-paced and complex finance role. You should have experience of working with technical accounting packages as well as experience in financial planning and monitoring.
 
The role is fast-paced and complex, and the ideal candidate will need to have proven inter-personal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assess priorities, organise workloads and initiate action and problem solve.

Corporate Partnerships are a key funding stream for Movember and an area of growth for the charity. The team has a renewed focus on building long term multifaceted and mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as driving new business to secure the future growth of our partnership revenue.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will have experience working in a fast-paced national Corporate Partnerships team, with at least 4 years’ experience in either high-value 6 and 7 figure Account Management or New Business. This role is responsible for growing the year-round corporate fundraising revenue in in the UK through existing or new partners.

This will achieved by:

• Implementing the strategy for Commercial and Fundraising partnerships under management
• Developing and managing a portfolio of partners worth over £500,000
• Developing and managing a robust pipeline of high value(6 figure) commercial and/or philanthropic prospects
•  Working collaboratively with other Movember income teams in the UK, Europe and in our other key markets, as well as with other Movember functions locally and globally (marketing and impact in particular)

Churchill College is seeking a talented and flexible individual to join its successful Development and Alumni Relations team. This role is a part-time post held as a job-share with an existing role-holder. Job Purpose

To lead the management and continuous improvement of facilities, safety, maintenance and the provision of accommodation, prioritising contractual and statutory obligations alongside quality management reporting.

Main Responsibilities

• To ensure that relevant staff and volunteers are managed and supported sufficiently to fulfil their role and to operate in accordance with the requirements of legislation, funding arrangements and YMCA Doncaster’s policies, procedures and KPIs. 
• To maintain accreditation and compliance records, oversee submissions for quality management and inspections and act as the responsible / senior person as required.
• To operate a Health and Safety management system, including risk assessments, in keeping with legal obligations and the requirements set out in the Health and Safety Policy.
• To ensure that new staff, volunteers, resident clients, external users and others as appropriate receive a clear Health and Safety induction and that individual issues are addressed promptly.
• To manage property condition, cleaning, planned maintenance and responsive repairs. 
• To ensure that appropriate property records and asset registers are maintained. 
• To create efficient arrangements for scoping work, gathering quotations and making recommendations for approval of large or exceptional items of expenditure.
• To oversee the KPIs for accommodation management including minimising voids and maximising rent / service charge collection.
• To manage reception and ensure that services provided contribute to positive customer experience.
• To oversee IT issues, including the provision of equipment and resolution of problems, and to liase with the external IT services provider.
• To provide expert facilities / operational input and knowledge to those engaged in planning and launching new work.
• To take responsibility for drafting recommended policy / procedure updates.
• To attend meetings of the Board or relevant sub groups as required in order to report and give advice.

• To ensure that the YMCA’s insurance arrangements are appropriate and are compliant with any binding requirements from funders or other stakeholders, and to oversee processes for renewals and claims.

Person Specification

• Experience of managing buildings and safety, including delivering to a range of KPIs.
• Experience of effective management and leadership of people at a range of levels, including staff and external contractors.

 Workforce

• Maintain a positive culture within the Centre in line with the London Irish Centre values and expectations.
• Overall responsibility for management, development, motivation, support and appraisal of the community services teams, and other team members when agreed with the line manager.
• Maintain and implement effective policies and processes for managing staff and volunteers, including recruitment and retention, induction, training and appraisals. 
• Ensure adequate and appropriately skilled staffing of the community services team.
• Monitor performance against budgets, targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure best practice and quality assured delivery of Community Services and Programmes.

Financial 

• Overall responsibility for management and reporting of community services budget.

Income generation

• Ensure relationships with all supporters and donors are managed and developed effectively, including trusts, individuals, major donors and corporate partners.

• Lead on monitoring, reporting and submissions for current grant and trust funds in accordance with funders` requirements.

Impact and Innovation 

• Overall responsibility for the service`s impact management in line with the London Irish Centre’s theory of change. 
• Lead on identification and adoption of innovative technology to improve the processes and impact on community services.
• Overall responsibility for communicating the outcomes and impact of the community services and programmes.

Overall Duties of the xxx will include:

• Manage inbound and outbound post daily using the virtual systems in place
• Respond to telephone calls and allocate these to staff as appropriate.
• Administratively deal with the foster care training
• Liaise with the Duty Social Worker, Placement Officer and Area Manager re. Requesting and chasing children and young people outstanding looked after paper-work.
• Compile and produce weekly Newsletters/briefings for foster carers.
• Support the Children Resource Worker in producing quarterly children and young people Newsletters.
• Take panel minutes in the absence of the Admin Manager and Senior Admin Officer.
• Carry out any other task that the Admin Manager, Area Manager or any other Social Worker requires.

The Adult Carers Team Leader reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for leading and managing the Adult Carers team. 

You will provide leadership and stability to the Adult Carers staff team, by line managing, coaching and supporting employees to create a happy, productive work environment. You will work within the Adult Carers team to deliver an engaging, accessible range of peer support groups, social activities and one to one support, working to targets and budget, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders.

This role requires you to work collaboratively with carers and professionals to meet carers’ needs and shape the service, building and maintaining strong partnerships to do so. You will support our wider organisational objectives and help out with events, communications and other ad hoc work.

Smart Works is looking for a Head of Data & Impact to play a pivotal part in ensuring that Smart Works is a data-driven organisation, where insight and analysis underpin strategic decision-making and service delivery. 

At its core, this position is responsible for overseeing the how the charity measures impact. The successful candidate will lead on management of the charity’s central database—used across all centres—to manage client, volunteer and referrer information. This includes coordinating system updates, working with external contractors, and maintaining data integrity and functionality across the board.
