- Deal with enquiries and offer information to interested stakeholders.
- Facilitate focus groups and support young people’s involvement in a range of areas.
- Support relevant data monitoring and evaluation on the projects.

An opportunity has arisen for you to join Fauna & Flora’s Eurasia Marine team to provide expert technical support to the Eurasia Marine Programme. This is a role based in our UK Headquarters providing technical input and support to our regional programmes and partners, with a focus on supporting marine protected area projects.
You will hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent professional experience in marine ecology and conservation. Experience in marine protected area development, monitoring and management will be an advantage. You will be experienced in initiating, coordinating and supporting complex marine species and habitat research and monitoring, with proven experience of project design, data management and analysis for impact monitoring and evaluation.
You will have an excellent understanding and knowledge of marine and coastal conservation alongside a determination to tackle the issues facing the world’s marine species and habitats. You will have significant experience of working within challenging environments in low and middle income countries to deliver positive change, and will understand the need for inclusive, collaborative and evidence-based approaches to marine conservation.
A team player also able to work on your own initiative, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise across teams and cultures. You will enjoy applying your critical thinking to complex issues and explaining these in plain and accessible language. In addition to essential fluency in written and spoken English, skills in relevant languages, particularly Portuguese, are also desirable. You will have strong verbal and written communication abilities, including scientific writing skills, and experience in communicating conservation science to a range of audiences.
The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines will be a key attribute. You will have excellent training and coaching skills, ideally with experience in developing and applying blended learning materials and methods. You will be part of the Sefton-wide Living Well Sefton service and will give support to members of the community who wish to make lifestyle changes to improve their wellbeing. Rooted in lived experience and developed over three decades, SYEDA is a leading regional charity offering support to individuals affected by eating disorders, along with their carers and the professionals who support them. As CEO, you will:
- Lead SYEDA’s strategy and vision, working closely with a committed Board and team

- Support and develop the staff team (~20 people), embedding a culture of inclusion, learning, and wellbeing
- Drive income generation and ensure financial sustainability
- Represent SYEDA regionally and nationally.
About you:
You’re an experienced senior leader with proven experience in people management, strategy, and operational delivery. You understand the importance of good governance and inclusive leadership. Ideally, you’ve worked in or alongside the NHS or charity sector, and you bring passion for health/social care, EDI, and recovery.

Strategic Volunteer Lead
We are seeking someone brilliant to be our Strategic Volunteer Lead and work collaboratively to support Youth Zones with their volunteering strategies, recognising and rewarding the huge benefits a volunteer workforce brings.

As a pioneering and growing Network of youth charities, it is paramount we have clear and robust volunteer strategies, maximising the value of volunteers.
You will promote a positive culture of volunteering across the Network, working collaboratively with Youth Zone senior leadership teams. This will include support and delivery of workshops, proactively focusing discussions to result in strategic commitment to volunteering. You will also support the Youth Zone Network with general volunteering advice and guidance, promoting best practice so our volunteers shine in their roles.
