Our Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will be able to write compelling cases for support, bringing in funding from a range of charitable trusts to support delivery of our programmes, directly supporting people living with cancer in our region. They will be detail focussed, able to engage suitable funders and work effectively with colleagues to identify opportunities to attract support.

• Work with partner organisations to establish hearing voices peer support groups in addition to organising and facilitating existing groups.
• Offer support to a range of people who hear voices and/or have other sensory experiences or difficult beliefs (at the moment, primarily young people and their families) in a variety of ways (email, Zoom, phone, face-to-face).
• Deal with enquiries and offer information to interested stakeholders.
• Facilitate focus groups and support young people’s involvement in a range of areas.
• Support relevant data monitoring and evaluation on the projects.

About the role:

This is exciting opportunity for motivated, strategic development operations professional with experience of leading fundraising operations teams.

In this role, the Head of Strategy and Operations will create and lead a world-class development operations function, play a pivotal role in developing and planning the Museum's major capital campaign, and embed best practice in fundraising and information management across the Development directorate.

The Children’s Literacy Charity is a specialist literacy intervention charity providing expert tuition to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them to close their literacy gap and achieve their full potential.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

The Feelgood Factory is a community-led healthy living centre working in more deprived areas of Sefton to improve lives and promote health.

About the Role

As a pioneering and growing Network of youth charities, it is paramount we have clear and robust volunteer strategies, maximising the value of volunteers.

You will promote a positive culture of volunteering across the Network, working collaboratively with Youth Zone senior leadership teams. This will include support and delivery of workshops, proactively focusing discussions to result in strategic commitment to volunteering. You will also support the Youth Zone Network with general volunteering advice and guidance, promoting best practice so our volunteers shine in their roles.

You will have experience of volunteer recruitment and management, implementing volunteering strategies and thrive on working collaboratively. And you will be excited to work for an innovative, young person-centred organisation.

Project Officer (Peterborough and Cambridgeshire) 

Salary: £26,508 to £28,327 depending on experience

Location:  Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area with some remote working available

Hours: The role is full time (part time hours can be considered 22.5 – 30 hours per week)

We are recruiting for a project officer role in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to join our Communities team. The successful candidate will help us deliver an exciting and wide range of practical training and skills programmes alongside community and education projects across the county. 

You will have the ability to recruit, engage with and train a range of volunteers and will be responsible for overseeing the practical landscaping work and the delivery and assessment of Level 1 City & Guilds qualifications. You will also deliver a wider range of community and education focussed environmental projects alongside the wider team.

You will require strong communication and organising skills and will be leading practical tasks.  You will be working with different community groups particularly vulnerable people as well as co-ordinating with local partner organisations.
