We're looking for a Trusts Fundraising Manager to join Your Place and be part of our dedicated team to help us with our mission to solve homelessness in east London, one person at a time!
About the role
Based within the Fundraising and Communications team, this role will lead on submitting successful funding bids, take responsibility for delivering against a stretching trusts and foundations fundraising target each year, enabling Your Place to achieve its fundraising strategies and supporting the efficient delivery of our broader business plan.
The role is a blend of major grant funding from trusts, foundations and statutory funders, as well as high quality research to identify significant sources of funding. The post holder will primarily secure capital and revenue funding for the organisation.
Reporting & Line Management:
This role reports to the Head of Fundraising & Communications and has line management responsibility for the Senior Trusts & Foundations Officer.
Salary: £39,520 - £46,800 annual salary
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours. Monday - Friday
Location: Canning Town, London
Other responsibilities include
- Work as part of a team in implementing an income strategy for the charity ensuring continued success and planned growth in order to fulfil our charitable goals.
- Provide advice, support and assistance with corporate trusts and foundations applications as required to help maximise our income.
- Develop and sustain existing trust and foundation work, identify and source new funders and maximise opportunity through developing multiple propositions
- To implement a plan of activity that develops relationships with funders from existing and new sources of funding
- Produce high quality funding applications, in line with the requirements of potential funders and with reference to their published guidelines and any communication with them
- Review budget information with the Finance Department and liaise with other employees across the organisation to ensure accurate applications and reports are submitted.
- Ensure high value applications go through the proper internal approvals processes, which may involve completing application appraisal reports for Board review.
- Manage and monitor multiple applications providing additional information promptly as required
- Track and plan applications throughout the year to ensure a continuing income stream
- To take lead responsibility for the reporting schedule on behalf of the organisation
- Meet the financial targets and budgets relating to income from trusts and foundations and statutory sources
- Work with the Strategic Management Team to respond to and deliver strategic income needs
- Produce reports for and attend meetings internally as and when necessary, for example, Directorate, Management and planning meetings
- Undertake other duties within the competence of the post holder which may be required from time to time
- Undertake any training or appropriate professional development considered necessary.
- Comply in all areas of work in line with policies and procedures.
About you
Experience
- Significant experience of researching, collating, preparing and submitting multiple and compelling trust funding applications, drawing on complex information
- Proven experience of funds raised successfully through trusts and foundations with an annual total in excess of £600,000
- Experience of developing and maintaining key relationships with funders and funding bodies over a sustained period of time

The role
You’ll be key to delivering our corporate partnerships income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. As Corporate Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for driving income growth and leveraging Ovarian Cancer Action’s increasing levels of brand awareness and creating compelling, mutually beneficial partnerships. To achieve this, you’ll need to find innovative ways to engage businesses and identify opportunities to maximise income from the relevant sectors.

Main purpose of the role
To lead on the development of new and existing partnerships, products and activities, building strong relationships and influencing and negotiating both internally and externally. Delivering on robust financial planning, reporting, and spearhead relevant high value cross team project work, as well as working with Director of Fundraising to identify opportunities to strengthen and grow partnerships at Ovarian Cancer Action. Building and delivering successful partnerships that engage and meet not just business requirements but customers and employees alike.
Scope of the role
- Growth and delivery: Lead on the growth and delivery of our Corporate Partnerships portfolio ensuring the development of sustainable and priority new business leads, alongside retention and uplift of existing partners.
- Account management: Deliver excellent account management and stewardship of Partners, ensuring buy-in, support and involvement from relevant, key internal stakeholders.
- Leadership: Contribute as part of the wider team of Manager’s (Income area owners) to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and KPI’s, providing excellent leadership and line management to any (future) line reports.
- Strategy and opportunity: Work with the Director of Fundraising to develop and deliver a longer-term focus (growth strategy and priority areas, activities and benefits etc) to Corporate Partnerships, ensuring it aligns with any broader organisational partnership objectives and priorities.

Summary of the role:
The Community Fundraising Volunteers Coordinator will drive and enhance fundraising efforts for Muslim Aid by planning, coordinating, and executing innovative fundraising events and campaigns across regional and national levels. The post holder will ensure that all activities adhere to regulatory standards and organisational promises, effectively represent the organisation in public forums and live appeals and manage productive relationships with external partners to optimise outcomes. Additionally, the post holder supports strategic campaign planning and evaluation, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with legal frameworks. The incumbent is expected to be flexible, with readiness to travel and adapt to unsociable hours as needed to meet the demands of the role.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with the Community Fundraising and Volunteers Manager on developing national campaign plans that support the Fundraising strategy to meet agreed income targets.
- Map donor markets to identify opportunities for targeted activities and areas/issues that could impact income.
- Develop activities that can optimise income through various community and innovative events, meeting agreed financial targets whilst remaining within budget.
- Map evaluation and lessons learned from fundraising campaigns/activities that can be used to develop future approaches that improve planning time, reach, delivery and return on investment.
- Partner with the communications and digital departments to ensure all messaging is on brand, engaging and reaching the audiences needed to drive awareness and income.
- Partner with the Facilities and Volunteers Department to deliver bespoke national recruitment campaigns aimed at increasing the number of fundraising volunteers around the UK available to deliver activities/events.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Experience in building a fundraising portfolio and securing income across a range of fundraising disciplines, especially from universities, mosques and volunteers.
- Proven experience in Community Fundraising and volunteer coordination.
- Able to inspire people and to develop long-term relationships, with the gravitas to gain the trust and respect of relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to refine and implement plans to increase activity/campaign effectiveness.

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
The East Anglia and Bedfordshire regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Cambridge hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement SECAmb’s first-ever Charitable Strategy, aligned with the Trust’s goals and community needs.
- Lead on fundraising initiatives, including events, donor relationships, and grant applications, to meet ambitious income targets.

- Ensure the charity operates within the highest standards of governance and compliance as per Charity Commission guidelines.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Lead and co-ordinate the development, design, production and review of a SECAmb Charitable Strategy, ensuring operational and governance processes have realistic timeframes and are met.
- Lead and operationalise a fundraising plan to implement, manage and report on progress against KPI’s to agree income and expenditure levels as agreed by the Charitable Funds Committee (some of which will be events based).
- Prepare regular reports for the Executive Team, Charitable Funds Committee, Trust Board and external stakeholders such as NHS Charities Together, detailing progress against agreed plans and indicating any areas or risks requiring attention.
- Prepare regular updates and news items for internal Trust staff, inviting engagement to raise awareness.
- Support the delivery of Trust strategic objectives that achieves best value for money.
- Act as an ambassador for the Charity at relevant internal and external engagement meetings and lead on bid writing for grant/Trust applications.
- Ensure the Charity has effective polices and procedures for accurate and timely reporting against all statutory, constitutional and contractual standards. This will include ensuring performance KPIs reflect the key priorities and challenges of the Charity with risks identified on the BAF and corporate risk register, where appropriate.

Introduction
This new role, funded by the Church Commissioners' 'Buildings for Mission' grant, will provide frontline support to parishes in the Southwark Diocese for capital fundraising to maintain, repair, and conserve church buildings. The aim is to ensure these buildings remain sustainable, open, and available for both worship and diverse community use. The post-holder will offer hands-on support to priority churches, ongoing guidance to around 50 additional churches, and ad hoc advice as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide specialist advice and – where appropriate –‘hands-on’ assistance to parishes on grants applications and other means of capital fundraising, for maintenance/repair/conservation of church buildings and capital improvement-works projects.
- To offer encouragement, help and support to parishes in developing strategic financially-achievable approaches to maintenance/repair/conservation and sustainable use of their church buildings, including community engagement and wider uses, as well as energy-efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
- Support Capital Fundraising: Advise parishes on grants and income generation to maintain and improve church buildings, including achieving Net Zero Carbon goals.
- Parish Assistance: Help parishes with grant applications, financial planning, and income-generating strategies through meetings and ongoing support.
- Grant Management: Administer building and energy-saving grants, ensuring effective allocation and use.
- Training and Guidance: Deliver workshops and provide resources to enhance parish fundraising skills.

We have an opportunity within our London, South East and East Region for a Funding Manager who is passionate about communities and the wider voluntary sector.
The post holder will lead on strategic and programme funding initiatives, coordinate our regional learning function and ensure that our grant making in the region is learning informed and equitable. The role will also support our transition to our new Strategy particularly working to embed a new approach to partnership at a regional level. Working across the region (three sub regions and 9 patches); engaging with teams across our England Directorate a typical day can be fast-paced and highly varied. Funding Managers are responsible for coordinating the whole lifecycle of our grant-making, placing communities and an equity-based approach at the heart of what we do; managing a portfolio of grants, working in support of regional strategy, leading on learning, and managing an individual team. You will be able to “think outside the box”, be confident working in an innovative and experimentation space to help deliver equitable and measurable support for the sector within the region.
You should be experienced in Grant Management and Stakeholder Management processes and systems or confident in your ability to quickly learn how to use them as key management tools.
Responsibilities include
• Working across the region to support the design and delivery of Funding and Partnership and specific programme focused initiatives, ensuring strong project management and coordination
• Leading the LSE&E learning function; promoting a culture of learning and a commitment to ensure we are data, evidence and learning informed in our grant making.

The Fundraising and Communications Executive will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and communications strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns.
