We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to support the Head of Membership Engagement in the overall development and delivery of commercial revenue streams at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. This will include all current sponsorship for conferences, including our flagship Fundraising Convention, corporate membership, and strategic partnerships.
Job purpose:
- Recruiting, retaining, and developing corporate members.
- Identifying and securing new sponsors and exhibitors for the Chartered Institute’s event business, including one-day conferences, webinars, and Fundraising Convention.
- To identify, secure, and nurture long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Accountabilities
- Work and support the Head of Membership Engagement across the following income streams:
- Fundraising Convention: Responsible for the overall management of expo – planning, sales and invoicing;
- Fundraising Convention sponsorship: lead on this and assist the Executive Director when required;
- One-day conference sponsorship and expo: to be partnership lead on day-to-day conference sponsorship sales including print advertising;
- Develop partnership support for the strategic objectives of the Chartered Institute;
- Work with the Membership Team, supporting all areas of membership where required;
- Strategic corporate partnerships: Work with key clients and provide support for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s portfolio of events, including Group events.
Business Development
- To be client-focused and visible in the marketplace with sponsors and supporters.
- To create a plan for growing expo, conference, and corporate supporter revenue.
- To work with the Head of Membership Engagement and Executive Team to highlight potential new partners and create a strategy to increase support from existing customers.
- To work closely with the Professional Development Team to maximise all revenue-generating opportunities.
Financial
- Work closely with the Finance Team to maintain accurate reporting of revenues.
Marketing
- Work with the Marketing Team to ensure all commercial opportunities are optimised across all promotional materials.
Administration
- To collate all materials and information from all Fundraising Convention sponsors.
- To manage the Convention expo pack and any administrative requirements of Fundraising Convention exhibitors.
- To attend Fundraising Convention and provide administrative support to all sponsors, exhibitors and partners as required.
- To be responsible for the overall management of the Fundraising Convention exhibition, including planning, sales, and invoicing.
- Any other administrative duties required to deliver the partnership strategy.
Other

About the role:
The Advance Prison Advocate will support women on remand and those unsentenced within the prison setting, providing pre-release support; focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion.
The Prison Advocate will develop a referral pathway with the Offender Management team within the prison, for women to access the service and will work in partnership with the existing service providers operating within the prison. You will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified above including providing ‘through the gate support’. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.
You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.
You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Advance Prison Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).
The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

Overall purpose
The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing key aspects of our communications and engagement strategy. Your focus will be to maintain our high reputation and build engagement with key audiences – principally target public audiences, corporate partners, funders and supporters, volunteers, clients, and staff.
Bridging the gap between senior leadership and delivery, you will be a confident and strategic thinker, but remain excited by the challenge of getting stuck in. You will be comfortable supporting colleagues to deliver activity as well as working independently on your own projects. You will have the knowledge and experience to ensure that the right policies, frameworks and plans are in place for our small team to achieve ambitious plans.
The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for campaigns, PR, content and storytelling, brand and creative, and plays an integral role in internal communications. They also support other external engagement activities, such as digital marketing campaigns, corporate partner acquisition and retention, and public fundraising.
Strong copywriting is essential for this role. You will be able to write, edit, and tailor content for different audiences, and publish it across various channels, including the website, social media, emails, and marketing materials.
You will enjoy variety. Your day could involve operational planning, developing a new campaign, briefing freelancers and agencies, finding compelling stories, creating our Impact Report, speaking with journalists, working on internal communications, or drafting social media posts.
The successful candidate will have strong emotional intelligence, relationship building and negotiation skills. They will be collaborative and creative, drive projects forward, work effectively alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, and bring people together across the organisation. They will provide supportive, effective management to the Communications and Campaigns Officer, and be an internal advocate for the impact our Communications and Engagement can have.

About this exciting opportunity
Our successful candidate will complete an Initial Needs Assessment, using a strength-based approach within agreed contractual timeframes, before dynamically assessing need and risk, alerting to changes that could indicate change in risk or serious harm, including personal safety and safeguarding. The role:
- Lead on the development and execution of financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting and cost control for the ACO and related charities.

In this new, impactful role, you will be responsible for mobilising and subsequently continuously improving a new network engagement and support function. Working collaboratively with local Age UKs and national teams, the Director of Network Engagement & Support will be responsible for developing and implementing a network engagement and support strategy. This includes driving forward changes that may include the type of support provided, the way in which it is delivered and how it is monitored and measured to ensure our approach is responsive, sustainable and supports the strategic objectives and operational needs of the network.
This will require collaborative working across a range of teams to ensure a coherent and coordinated approach. This role and team will engage directly with local Age UK leadership, be the owner of the organisational overview of the network and network interactions, ensuring risks and issues are appropriately managed and that there is an effective and transparent flow of information across the organisation and network including into formal governance mechanisms.

The Centre for Computing History is an accredited museum and charity situated in Cambridge, with collections and learning at its heart. The museum's core purpose is to increase understanding of the history of computing by exploring its social, cultural and historical impact.

Role Summary
We're now seeking a talented, energetic and efficient Project Coordinator to oversee this exploratory project.
The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, aims to encourage participatory practice in museums, and this concept lies at the heart of this project. Participatory practice means involving visitors and communities in the creation and interpretation of museum exhibitions, programs, and events content – asking for stories about objects in the collection, rather than assuming we know what the most important stories are. This approach is inclusive, encourages visitors to feel ownership and helps museums discover untold stories about their collections.
We are looking for someone special to co-ordinate this process and exploit our unique platform to raise awareness of environmental issues and e-waste and to create change. The Project Co-ordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Broken Earth Project, including working closely with all external and internal stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring project milestones are met. This new fixed-term role is a critical part of the project and crucial to its success.
