About the role
Location: Community based in London with some homeworking elements.
Contract: Fixed term post until 30th September 2026.
In this role, you will work with local communities to build trust and raise awareness of dementia and our information, support and services. You will attend and organise events, build relationships and manage volunteers across the region.
Working closely with the Local Communities and Volunteering Lead and Local Services Manager, you will deliver our planned community engagement activity, with a particular focus on reaching underserved communities. You will also create opportunities to stay connected with our volunteers by supporting in organising volunteers networking and events both online and in person.

About you
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with an understanding of dementia, the needs of people affected by dementia, and experience of working with the underrepresented communities.
You will essentially have experience in coordinating and delivering talks, presentations and information sharing events to a range of external stakeholders which include faith groups, voluntary and community-based organisations, and others. Experience of working with volunteers, managing them and providing training support would be ideal.
You will have:

About the Role
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) Support Unit (SU) seeks an experienced accounting professional with proven track record in the non-profit sector to provide finance and accounting services to support the Finance team. We are looking for an individual with strong understanding of accounting principles, with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
The consultant will assist with preparing and analyzing financial reports and ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations where OGP conducts business. This role involves various accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits. The Consultant will work closely with other finance team members to ensure that financial and accounting systems, controls, and standards are in place to support the organization's overall financial health.
Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and experience with accounting software- Intacct or Netsuite preferred. The consultant can work remotely, with a preference to be based in the Washington, D.C. area, London, or Brussels.
Deliverables and Timeline
Consultant services are required through March 31, 2025, with the possibility of a contract extension. Key deliverables and services to be provided include:

Agreement and payment
OGP and the Consultant will enter into a service contract as listed in this Terms of Reference. The agreement will start as soon as possible. For services rendered per the description above, the consultant will be issued a contract with a fee of US$60/hour (VAT included) corresponding to about 20 hours per week between October and March. Contract will be for a maximum of 560 hours of work through March 31, 2025, with a ceiling amount of USD $33,600, with possibility of renewal. The consultant will invoice OGP at either monthly or other agreed upon frequency intervals, as preferred, and include details of number of hours worked and description of services rendered per invoice period and banking information. Founded in 1955, the Society works to improve and diffuse knowledge of the life, work and influence of William Morris. We combine our broad and international appeal with a strong local presence in Hammersmith based on the contribution of Morris to the arts & crafts movement and grassroots politics during his time living at Kelmscott House – the Coach House of which is today run by the Society as a museum. We work with organisations across the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, including the Council from whom we receive an annual grant.
A wide-ranging and rewarding role, the Director of The William Morris Society and Museum is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational management, and financial sustainability of the charity. This involves overseeing museum operations, exhibitions, public programmes, membership services, and commercial activities, managing a small team of staff and volunteers. The postholder will be required to secure renewal of Museum Accreditation and, in consultation with the board, to develop and implement a new Strategic Plan.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven leadership experience in the museum or cultural sector or membership societies.

We're looking for two proactive & passionate individuals to join our Housing Advice team to deliver an effective housing advice and advocacy service to young people accessing our day centre.
You will be working within our Housing team to deliver an effective advice service for young people. You should be experienced in delivering housing advice within a youth and community or other relevant setting, of supporting clients with multiple and complex needs, and have a proven track record of referring and progressing vulnerable people into suitable accommodation. There are two roles available.
Key details
- Contract type and hours: Permanent. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Some work over the Christmas period will also be required.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Young people's services
Delivering a housing advice service to young people with multiple needs. This will include:
- Working to ensure young people receive a high-quality service from the point of registration to move-on. Taking a hands-on approach to dealing with complex or difficult cases.
- Carrying out thorough needs assessments with young people accessing the service in order to refer young people into appropriate accommodation and to external specialist services.
- Providing young people with expert advice and guidance relating to their housing situation. Monitoring and evaluating young people’s progress.
- Engaging other relevant external partners, able to provide accommodation and other move on opportunities to young people.
- Referring young people to other internal New Horizon Youth Centre teams in order to support their progression, including Health, Youth Work, Outreach and Jobs, Education and Training.
- Providing advocacy and referring young people to a wide range of specialist external advice services including around advocacy, substance misuse, mental health, immigration, counselling, financial/debt advice, and legal services.
- Attending regular briefings, team meetings, reflective practice and clinical supervision, both with NHYC and project partners. Ensuring that Health and Safety or safeguarding issues are addressed at all times.
Sharing best practice
To proactively share best practice with internal and external stakeholders in order to maximise the impact of the work of NHYC. This will include:
- Identifying and acting to maximise NHYC’s profile by seeking out and responding to opportunities with specialists and agencies who might offer resources, funding, or individual services relevant to client needs.
- Promoting and representing NHYC at relevant forums, meetings and events.
Information management
To produce and maintain accurate and useful information in a range of formats in order to promote effective service delivery and evaluation. This will include:
- Recording all contacts with clients appropriately and maintaining all relevant files and recording systems.
- Producing written reports in a variety of formats to meet the requirements of NHYC, external service providers and funders, e.g., project reviews and assessment reports.
- Inputting and extracting information from client monitoring systems and other accounting and database systems. Utilising other relevant software for the production of reports.
- Being self-servicing in day-to-day administration, and following team and NHYC’s administrative procedures.
Reviewing personal and professional development needs
To be proactive in reviewing and evaluating own performance and identifying and acting upon areas for improvement. This will include:
- Reviewing and evaluating own performance to identify strengths and areas for development. Identifying own learning/development needs and opportunities.
- Undertaking development and training opportunities and being responsible for obtaining maximum benefit through review, reflection and practice.
- Taking a proactive approach to supervision including regular line management supervision, team meetings, team reflective practice and clinical supervision.
Other
To contribute positively and constructively to the development of the team, the service and the centre. This will include:
- Covering for other members of the team where necessary.
- Following NHYC’s policies, procedures and performance expectations in all functions of the post.

Your role
We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.
We seek someone who aligns with the DfG mission, has a passion for fundraising and can strategise and deliver new initiatives. The fundraiser will collaborate with program staff, and senior management to develop leads, compelling proposals and reports. Key Responsibilities
· Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors, program officers, and key stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact for grant inquiries, reporting, and communications.
· Research: Identify and explore funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other potential donors whose interests align with our programs. Regularly monitor donor databases and other sources for announcements and opportunities.

As the Admin Officer, you will be a critical part of the Global Secretariat- helping to link the different parts of the RWA together and co-ordinate with our partners around the world.
About the Role:
You will work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the team can deliver our work to the high standards we set for ourselves. As the RWA delivers its ambitious programme of work the post holder will ensure we are delivering high quality events, prompt and regular engagement with key stakeholders, and rapid and consistent processing of contracts, payments and reporting for donors and suppliers. This will require the ability to build an understand of the processes and objectives of WaterAid and the Resilient Water Accelerator so that we respond appropriately to work and opportunities as they arise, and are conducted in line with agreed policies and procedures.

- Providing support and solutions as the RWA puts in place new structures and systems ahead of independence, working with SMT to explore the practical and regulatory steps towards building our own independent systems.

Digital Storyteller
Salary: £28,701 per annum - FTE (35 hours per week)

Combine your passion for nature with your digital skills! We’re looking for a talented communicator who can tease out stories from across the Trust and turn them into compelling social media content. You might be out and about across Cumbria, gathering content at our sites and with project teams, or in the office putting together videos and infographics.
You’ll need a strong understanding of the social media landscape and an ability to select and tailor content for different channels, finding ways to increase supporter engagement and reach diverse audiences. You’ll also be great at explaining your ideas – from the serious to the silly – and getting people involved.

This role is crucial for advancing the rights and protection of our clients, many of whom are vulnerable individuals seeking asylum or are survivors of trafficking. We do not provide legal representation directly to our clients, instead we act as a support team to our clients and their legal representation by providing second tier advice. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure the highest standards of legal protection, and contribute to the overall mission of the Foundation including developing relationships that promote HBF’s expertise and reputation. This role requires exceptional people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team, foster collaboration, and articulate complex legal issues clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

As is the nature of work in this sector, the role will expose the postholder to traumatic and distressing material and, whilst they will be supported by the CEO and the surrounding team, they should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the self-care principles needed to manage working in an intense work environment and be able to collaborate in the dissemination of those principles to other members of the team. Clinical supervision will be offered to support the appointed post-holder where necessary.
