About the role
Do you love working with supporters or customers, and have brilliant administrative skills? And do you want to make a difference to people affected by breast cancer? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to start your fundraising career working as part of a newly created fundraising products team. You’ll work on our sector leading virtual events programme, which has raised millions of pounds to date, as well as innovative product development to help us reach new audiences.
This is a varied role where you’ll play an important role in the smooth delivery of fundraising campaigns. A typical week may include providing brilliant stewardship to our supporters over email and phone, as well as to our online communities, and sending out fundraising materials. You might also develop new fundraising resources and content plans and help to setup a new campaign with the digital team. Joining a collaborative and fun team, you’ll be supported to learn and develop in your role.
About you
Having previously worked in a customer or supporter facing role, you’ll know how to provide a brilliant experience and be an excellent communicator. Friendly, organised and proactive, you’ll have great administrative skills gained in a professional environment where you’ve worked both independently and as part of a team.
You’ll have a passion for fundraising and it’s a bonus if you’ve worked at a charity before. Some experience working with databases or supporting online communities would also be helpful but isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone with a positive, can do attitude who is eager to learn, deliver results and be part of a high performing team.

Are you an outstanding Programme Compliance/Funding Specialist?
We are proud to be partnering with an environmental focused grant giving and programmes focused charity to find an Interim Programme Funding Manager. The duration of this role is expected to be for 3-6 months with scope to become permanent. Fully remote and UK based.
The Programme Funding Manager will provide cross-team support to strengthen the organisation’s funding and budget management functions and ensure the successful delivery of the organisation’s grantmaking and other programmatic activities. This will include collaborating with multiple teams internationally, including the Programmes, Grants Management, Finance and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to design and implement systems, processes and improvements to ensure high quality budget management and high standards of donor and regulatory compliance across all funded activity.
The role will also be responsible for the budget management of all programmatic activities, working with Programmes colleagues, Advisory Board representatives, donor relationship managers, Finance staff and others to ensure funds are spent appropriately in line with project plans and donor obligations.
You will design and implement systematic and operational improvements to ensure high standards of donor compliance and budget and funding management across the organisation, in partnership with the global Operations, Grants Management, Programmes, Finance and Philanthropic Partnerships / Development teams.
You will ensure that funded activities are managed responsibly in order to align with donor requirements; maintain a good understanding of donor budgets and contractual obligations and coordinate with Philanthropic Partnerships colleagues to ensure compliance. You will also provide timely, accurate information on funded activities to support the completion of high-quality donor proposals and reports as required.
This role will also require programme support and you will project manage specific donor-funded activities where the charity holds responsibility for implementation, especially in relation to outsourced consultancy work where the supplier contract is held. This includes working closely with Programmes and Philanthropic Partnerships teams to define roles and responsibilities and implementation timeframes; monitoring progress; and identifying and resolving potential challenges with implementation.
This role is fully remote although will require quarterly visits to London for team get togethers.

Grants & Programmes Manager
Battersea's Global Programmes Department advances our ambitious plans to play a global role in achieving a positive impact on thousands of dogs and cats. This Department comprises two teams: Academy, which supports the professional development of staff and volunteers in rescues and rehoming organisations and Grants & Programmes, which provides strategic funding and support to organisations and researchers within the animal welfare sector.
We are seeking a Grants & Programmes Manager to manage the delivery of a portfolio of work within the Grants & Programmes team. This is an exciting time for Battersea as we expand our work to impact more dogs and cats, and over the coming five years it is planned that the size and complexity of grant making will grow, including the establishment of several multi-year programmes in the UK and abroad.
This is a senior grant making role within the Grants and Programmes team in the Global Programmes Unit, requiring excellent experience of relationship management, building strategic grant programmes and good grant making practice.

Job Description
Working together with the Forest of Avon Trust CEO and our team you will:
•Arrange internal meetings and take minutes/list of actions for example team meetings, team training days.

•Arranging team wellbeing and social events.
•Recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

Norton Hall is a small, but growing charity with a vibrant team based in and working with the community of Wash wood Heath, in East Birmingham. The WASH will be based at our Dolphin Women’s Centre in Ward End Park; a much valued, Green Flag accredited 54-acre public space with a Lake and the Wash Brook.
Thanks to National Lottery players, Norton Hall has received a five-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.
The funding will be used to engage our local community in nature and climate learning activities, connecting them with the rural environment, increasing their connection to their surroundings and encouraging them to understand what it means to them. About the role
We are looking for someone with experience in facilities and contract management, and the drive and desire to find solutions and complete projects to a high standard. You’ll need to be highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to multi task. You must be a compelling advocate for the work of the Trust.
This role manages the Trust’s office facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean and support a positive working environment for staff and volunteers. The opportunity
This is a great opportunity to make your mark on a fantastic community project as part of a small and friendly team. Using your excellent organisation and communication skills, you will support the existing Community RePaint (CRP) schemes and help to develop new schemes in order to substantially increase the volumes of paint collected and redistributed in local communities across the UK. You will promote and raise awareness of CRP online across multiple platforms, develop the CRP brand, lead on communications, and assist with promoting ReColour remanufactured paint. You will work with community organisations, paint manufacturers, retailers, businesses, decorators, and housing associations across the UK to increase the supply and distribution of surplus paint into the network and onto walls in local communities. An important aspect of the role is to develop and secure new schemes to join the network and find creative ways of encouraging paint reuse.
What you will be doing
Line managed by the Network Manager, you will have their support and guidance, to deliver the following;
Supporting the CRP network
- Proactively engage and respond to scheme enquiries, providing excellent customer service through email, phone, and social media accounts, troubleshooting to find quick and helpful solutions.
- Provide support and advice to all schemes, sharing relevant information and resources, and assisting with operational issues.
- Improve the ‘networking’ element of existing schemes, to increase the number of network functions and opportunities.
- Undertake visits to schemes across the UK, both independently and with CRP colleagues.
- Organise, devise, and deliver training materials, presentations, and events to support existing and new schemes.
- Respond to external enquiries via telephone and email.
- Liaise with external organisations in order to better assist local schemes and customers.

Growing the CRP network

Marketing and communications management

- Monthly Paint Pad (to CRP schemes) and bi-monthly RePaint Roller (to external organisations) newsletters.
- Regular press releases.
- CRP network promotional materials.
- Produce marketing content (including photographs and videos) for use across the network’s communication channels.
- Assist individual schemes with the production of tailored communication and publicity materials.
- Oversee maintenance and update of the CRP website content, liaising with our website partners when complex amendments are needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of social media accounts – Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok.
- Conduct monthly reviews of social media activity, performance and website statistics with the Network Officer and assist with content planning for the month ahead.
- Deliver presentations to external organisations, to promote the work of CRP.
- Manage stocks of marketing materials, organising print of new materials, as necessary.
Other responsibilities
