We are looking for an experienced finance professional, preferably with charity sector experience, who has strong leadership skills to lead the Finance function and play a key role in ensuring the Fund delivers excellent financial management. You will be responsible for the leadership of the Finance team and delivering financial expertise essential to the organisation’s ability to steward finances properly, make sound decisions, comply with regulations & standards and manage risk.

To be suitable for this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong leadership, technical and people skills. You will have the experience to support a finance function that is motivated, adds value to the work of the Fund, and is strategically influential and important. You will be innovative and solutions focused, used to working in a collaborative, business partnering environment and able to nurture a high-performing team. We’re seeking an Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising team. In this role you will lead on regular giving, appeals, major donors, legacies and the development of our lottery product.

Together with our Marketing and Communications team you’ll develop and implement a portfolio of inspiring campaigns and appeals that connect with our existing supporters, as well driving the acquisition of new supporters particularly through regular giving. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues to shape, refine, and execute our fundraising strategy.

Pay and conditions

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Be responsible for curating CSE's social media content calendar. With support from digital comms manager, produce engaging content and ensure CSE’s social channels reflect our strategic goals.
• Create engaging multimedia digital content for websites, social media and our e-newsletter including written copy (blogs, news stories, content pages), video, and graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Lead on producing video content to promote CSE’s work, including planning, filming, and editing content using Premier Pro.
• Maintain CSE’s video library, including our internal folders, processes, and YouTube channel.
• Support the Senior Communications and Brand Manager to develop CSE’s suite of branded content. This includes creating branded templates for colleagues to use as well as designing digital and print materials for projects.
• With support from the wider comms team, ensure our online presence including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising reflects strategic goals.
• Support the day-to-day management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
• Support the digital communications manager with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic) as well as re-designing pages to enhance user experience (UX).
• Commission external videographers and photographers when appropriate, dictated by project and business needs.
• Responsible for producing CSE’s monthly e-news with support from the comms team to ensure CSE’s key work is promoted to external stakeholders.
• Regularly track digital metrics and analyse performance data to optimise messaging and strategies and responsibility for monthly reporting.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• Minimum Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• 3- 5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, PR, or related field.

ARB is an independent professional regulator, established by Parliament as a statutory body, through the Architects Act, in 1997. We are accountable to government.

The law gives us a number of core functions:

The Investigation Panel (IP)

The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the is the statutory regulator of architects in the UK, under the terms of the Architects Act 1997. The role of the Investigations Panel (IP) is to investigate allegations of unacceptable professional conduct or serious professional incompetence against architects and decide whether there is a case to answer at the Professional Conduct Committee. Each IP has three members, one architect and two lay. The Investigation Panels make decisions at the conclusion of the investigation.

We are looking for candidates that have an interest in professional regulation, have worked in committee settings or working groups are able to work through complex and voluminous information and work as a team to reach outcomes. Architects must be registered with ARB.

Evidence & Impact Research Assistant

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a regional charity providing life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars, our crew of critical care paramedics and specialist doctors bring their advanced skills, equipment and medicine to the scene of the incident in the fastest time possible.

This exciting new role will support the Research, Audit, Innovation & Development (RAID) team to conduct research studies and audit projects aimed at optimising service quality and achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.

Working collaboratively with clinicians and researchers, you will support RAID projects at EAAA. Responsibilities will include data entry, extraction and accuracy checking, administrative support, and contribution to report writing.

You will have previous experience of working with data, maintaining accurate records, and working in a team and to deadlines. This varied position offers significant learning opportunities in pre-hospital emergency medical research and is ideal for someone who is organised, motivated, and detail oriented.

The role will primarily be based at Helimed House in Norwich however some travel to EAAA’s base in Cambridge will be required.

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As a Senior Account Manager, your role is to line manage a regional team of Account Managers to maximise partner engagement and ensure we retain sky-high resubscription rates. You will manage your regional team’s objectives and regularly monitor and report on progress towards this. 

Alongside managing your team, you’ll work with a cohort of partner schools and colleges, facilitating an environment which identifies and promotes best practice across partners within your region. Using data analysis across schools and colleges within your region, you’ll identify trends and opportunities to further increase the use of Unifrog, maximising engagement and resubscription rates.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Line manage a regional team of Account Managers to achieve their resubscription and engagement goals, delivering weekly check-ins with each team member to review their progress with partners.

• Run team meetings with your regional Account Management team to review key engagement strategies, objectives and share best practice.

• Meet weekly with the Head of Account Management, reporting on progress with your partners, and the progress of your regional team.

• Analyse regional engagement data to spot trends and work closely with the Head of Account Management to devise and implement strategies to improve on any areas of low engagement.

• Work with Senior Account Managers, Head of Account Management and other Unifrog colleagues, to design and implement projects and processes across the Account Management team, that help deliver against our organisation’s objectives and mission.

• Work with a region of schools and colleges with the responsibility of an Account Manager, providing resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, and identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work closely with your regional Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and maintain a sky high resubscription rate.

Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.

Safeguarding: 

The role-holder will have experience working according to ethical and good practice safeguarding principles. They will be expected to adhere to and promote Amna’s Safeguarding Policies as they will be involved and responsible for programmes working with children and vulnerable groups in different settings. 

How Will you Make a Difference?  

The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative support to Amna’s CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board of Trustees. This includes administrative help such as managing calendars, drafting communications and briefings, planning, and organising meetings, inbox support, travel, office administration and personal assistance. It also includes working on and managing special projects including research, data analysis, preparation for public speaking, writing and research. 

This dynamic and creative position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills including strong written and verbal skills, the ability to work with little supervision, and manage simultaneous priorities within the leadership team.

The role holder will report to the CEO. 

Key areas of responsibilities: 

CEO/SLT Support 

• Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Act as a "barometer", staying attuned to the internal and external environment and keeping the CEO updated on relevant issues. 

• Anticipate the needs of the CEO and SLT in advance of meetings, conferences, and public appearances. 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO and SLT team, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. 

• Liaise between the CEO and SLT to ensure regular communications and smooth decision-making. 

• Provide sophisticated calendar management for Amna’s CEO and the SLT. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts and exercising tact; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. 

• Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect CEO’s and SLT members style and Amna’s values and policies. 

• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to coordinate the CEO’s outreach activities. Follow up on contacts made by the CEO to cultivate ongoing relationships. 

• Writing and managing documentation and data sets for the CEO and SLT as needed, including briefing papers, correspondence and talking points. 

• Leading and managing special projects including research for Amna’s, CEO’s and SLT’s contribution to future books, podcasts and articles. 

• Maintain an organized filing system for documents, records, and correspondence related to the CEO, SLT and board. 

Admin and travel management

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative functions 

• Assist in the preparation and execution of organizational events. 

• Research and propose the most efficient and cost-effective travel options, including flights, trains, and accommodations. 

• Secure necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, well in advance. 

• Prepare detailed travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodation, meeting times, and addresses. 

• Book accommodations that suit the requirements of the trip, ensuring comfort and proximity to meeting venues. 

• Manage group bookings for team members traveling together to streamline costs and logistics. 

• Handle travel expense reports, ensuring compliance with Amna policies and timely reimbursement. 

• Occasional travel may be required.

Board support 

• Manage due diligence and onboarding processes for new Trustees, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping. 

• Organize tailored training sessions for Board members. 

• Maintain up-to-date records of Board members, including contact information, terms of service, and compliance documents. 

• Assist Board members with travel expense claims and ensure accurate processing. 

• Compile, organize, and distribute materials for Board meetings, including reports and presentations. 

• Edit and format Board papers to ensure consistency and professionalism. 

• Coordinate logistics for Board meetings, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and required technology or equipment. 

• Attend Board meetings to provide administrative support, take minutes, and document actions and decisions. Distribute minutes promptly and track follow-up actions. 

• Develop and implement comprehensive induction plans for new Trustees. 

• Facilitate introductions and provide orientation materials to integrate new Board members effectively. 

Governance and Compliance 

• Support the CEO and committee chairs in adhering to the organization’s governance framework. 

• Maintain a centralized, up-to-date register of governance documents for easy access by senior staff and Trustees. 

• Ensure the organization complies with GDPR regulations in relation to all Board activities. 

• Work with the CEO and Chair to ensure the Board is informed about safeguarding practices and remains accountable. 

• Support emerging governance practices and Trustee development in partnership with the CEO and Chair. 

• Plan and execute Trustees’ regulatory obligations, including registering them with appropriate bodies. 

  Qualifications and Experience:  

• Minimum of 4-7 years of progressively responsible and diversified administrative experience, experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 

• Excellent research skills and experience in writing briefing papers 

• Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail. 

• Ability to work both independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. 

• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials. 

• Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. 

• Demonstrable commitment to Amna values and mission. 

• Legal understanding or experience with the Charity Commission is preferred. 

• Non-profit board experience is preferred.

Remuneration Package  

Remuneration: 38,000 GBP per annum.

You'll act as the first point of contact for school staff on people issues, referring to Central HR as necessary, as well as liaising with and building effective relationships with parents, Governors, Trustees, staff, local authorities, visitors to the school and other stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Formal secretarial/administrative qualifications or experience of providing high quality secretarial and office management / administrative support
• Experience of processing compliance files, including DBS, referencing and occupational health verifications for external agency review such as Ofsted, CQC and or Home office
• Experience of using a variety of HR, recruitment, training and payroll systems, we currently use Select HR, Clear Review, Linkedin Learning, iHasco and e-Pay safe

Public Interest Litigation Support (PILS) is a Belfast-based non-profit committed to supporting local organisations to use the law in a creative way to protect human rights and equality.

Now, PILS is looking for a Legal Support Manager to coordinate PILS’ membership network of law firms and NGOs, help them develop and submit applications for PILS’ services, and assist the PILS Director with legal casework. 

PILS is a membership organisation, offering a range of free legal and financial supports to our solicitor and NGO members to help them take strategic human rights & equality cases in the public interest. Public interest litigation refers to legal cases that will create positive change for vulnerable or disadvantaged groups of people in Northern Ireland. 

From our origins as a pilot project, PILS has matured into Northern Ireland’s dedicated support service for litigation in the public interest.

Since our project was founded in 2009, our membership network has grown to over 170 NGOs and solicitor firms. Through collaborating with these organisations, and connecting them with pro bono lawyers, PILS has been part of major legal success stories: from ‘game-changing’ judicial reviews on integrated education, seismic climate justice challenges, and multiple examples of holding public bodies to account.

We are now looking to appoint, for the first time, a dedicated Fundraising Events Manager to work within our small and dynamic Fundraising & Supporter Engagement team. You will help us unlock the financial and awareness-raising potential that a programme of events can deliver as we seek to lift more children out of bed poverty across more parts of the country.

As our ideal candidate, you will need to be within commuting distance to our Leeds warehouse, meaning you can travel regularly to meet with the team. 

You will be someone who has proven experience in fundraising event management and/or the delivery of successful corporate events, from concept to execution. 

Alongside your fundraising-related skills and experience, we’ll be looking to see that you have a genuine care for our mission and, as such, are self-motivated to do a great job and be a values-led member of our team.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working within a charity or not-for-profit organisation, due to some of the specialities that come with this. But charity experience is not essential if you can demonstrate an appetite and track record for continual learning and development across your working life to date.
