An opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Worker who will support the Diocesan Safeguarding Team in the delivery of case work, cold case reviews and management of casework recording.

Staying Put are proud to lead this partnership of 5 exceptional providers of domestic abuse services; Leeds Domestic Violence Service represented by Leeds Women’s Aid and Behind Closed Doors, WomenCentre, Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Wakefield Domestic Abuse Service.
We are now looking to set up our team of dedicated and passionate Family Court IDVAs. There are vacancies at all partners for this post, the salary will be the same across the partnership, however the terms and conditions may vary.
The locations for this role will be Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds or Wakefield. You will be employed by one of the above organisations and be based in one location, however there is the need for flexibility and expectation of travel across all areas, at times.
About the role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting individuals, families and children through the family court process as part of the Pathfinder programme. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across the courts of West Yorkshire, you will ensure the voice of the survivor informs every stage of the process. Using a client-led and trauma-informed approach, this role provides high-quality advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.
- Various hours available – 22.5 hours over 3 days, 30 hours over 4 days or full-time at 37.5 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- £27,898 – £28,898 FTE per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced public affairs professional to join our small staff team to lead our public affairs activity and to grow the influence of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. This is an exciting opportunity to influence positive change at a time of significant policy and political developments.
As Public Affairs Advisor, you will lead on the Coalition’s public affairs and influencing activity. You will be responsible for influencing the Government’s policy and legislative agenda relating to children and young people’s mental health, forging relationships with the new Parliament, and ensuring the Coalition’s views are heard across Westminster and Whitehall.
With over 370 members across the country, our Coalition has a significant potential to extend its influence. Many of our existing members are well placed to influence at a local level through working with their NHS Integrated Care Boards, councils and MPs, but do not always feel confident carrying out public affairs work. As Public Affairs Adviser, you will work with our members to upskill them to carry out their own influencing activity through a series of ‘Learning and Development’ workshops.
You will have Public Affairs experience of developing successful strategies to influence legislation or government policy, have strong knowledge of political systems and processes, have existing networks and contacts, and feel passionate about creating positive change for babies, children and young people.
This is a new role within the Coalition staff team and is generously supported by the Prudence Trust and the Hollick Family Foundation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the Coalition’s parliamentary influencing strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with Parliamentarians and other key stakeholders, such as civil servants and special advisers.
- Lead the Coalition’s engagement with Parliament and Government, ensuring strong systems are in place to capture and track engagement.
- Monitor and respond to political and legislative developments affecting our work, making recommendations for responses, and proactively seeking opportunities to further the Coalition’s objectives.
- Provide political intelligence to the staff team, Chair and our members, and help to prepare staff for parliamentary activity as appropriate.
- Produce high quality written briefings, reports and other materials that communicate our messages clearly and effectively to a parliamentary audience. This will also include contributing to other Coalition communications such as media responses, newsletters, blogs, and social media posts.
- Plan and deliver events aimed at political stakeholders, for example, parliamentary events and roundtables.
- Participate in collaborations with other charities for shared influencing activities, for example the Fund the Hubs campaign and the Future Minds campaign.
- Support work on legislation as appropriate, including drafting amendments.
Working with members
- Regularly engage with members to understand their influencing priorities and to gather insight to help inform the Coalition’s wider influencing priorities.
- Connect Coalition members to decision makers and help spotlight their work, for example, helping to organise visits to services.
- Provide advice to members on engaging with their local decision-makers such as their local MP, Integrated Care Boards and Councillors.
- Deliver workshops with members to share information and skills related to influencing and public affairs activity. For example, this could include delivery of sessions on influencing local systems, working with the government, and legislative processes.
General
- Work closely with the Coalition Lead, the Policy and Public Affairs Assistant, and Chair of the Coalition to develop and review priorities for the Coalition and support to drive these forwards. You will also be required to work closely with the staff at Centre for Mental Health.

About the Role:
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside professionals in a multi-agency environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both domestic and sexual violence.
This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Old Street.
As a Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:

- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
- Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic and sexual abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic and sexual abuse including the impact of abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic and sexual abuse and their children.
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic and sexual abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.

About the role:
This role offers help and support directly to victims and survivors of sexual violence, working to the national ISVA framework to provide support throughout victims criminal justice journey, or if they haven't reported the incident to the police, on their own recovery journey.
The role involves regular travel across Lancashire, and supporting victims and survivors directly at criminal justice hearings. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. The successful post holder will ensure victims and survivors receive ongoing continuity of support, advocacy and impartial advice and information including reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling. About the role:
- You will be supporting people on the telephone, by text or email from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences.
- No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience.
- You will be supporting clients who have experienced domestic abuse. Previous experience is not required as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients.
- You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.
- These roles are based in our Essex office in Ingatestone. There may be an option to split the work between home and the office. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Advisor to join a fantastic charity who provide those living with HIV practical and emotional support to help them live a fulfilling life free from isolation.
Location: Hybrid, between home, office (Old Street) and HIV clinics across London
Salary: £33,660 (full-time equivalent, or pro-rata for part-time post)
Hours: Full-time, part-time or job share will be considered
Fixed-term contract until May 2026, with a possibility of extension (depending on funding)
In this exciting newly created role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of a bespoke crisis management service accessible by everyone living with HIV in London. You will deliver comprehensive housing options advice to people referred to the service by HIV clinicians, peer support workers and voluntary sector partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on risk of homelessness, social housing applications, rehousing options, bidding process, house swapping options
- Submitting poor conditions complains, advising on disrepair and liaising with local Environment and Health Agency
- Working with asylum seekers to be moved on from unsuitable accommodation and avoid homelessness once granted refugee status
- Supporting applications for legal aid for eviction and homelessness
- Taking part in the ‘Getting to zero’ collaborative monthly/bi-monthly partnership meetings, monthly casework supervision meetings and staff meetings as required
- Together with the Project Lead, using quality improvement methodology to shape and improve the service
- Establishing collaborative working with HIV clinic and provide outreach at various clinics up to four days a month
The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in housing advice (e.g. Certificate in Housing Practice or equivalent) or substantial equivalent experience, with at least two years’ experience in providing housing advice or support, particularly to vulnerable groups (e.g., people living with HIV, homelessness, mental health, or immigration issues). Knowledge and understanding of housing law, homelessness legislation, and immigration issues related to housing is crucial, as is experience in dealing with housing benefit systems, social housing applications, and private rented sector issues.

About the role
Solent Mind delivers Wellbeing services across Hampshire, including Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and Gosport and the New Forest. This post is based in the New Forest locality. The Wellbeing services provide a range of support, including 1-1s, courses and workshops delivered both within the centres and via digital platforms.
The Young Persons Senior Wellbeing Advisor will support clients 18 to 25 years old through 1-1 assessments, facilitating educational courses and social/activity groups, with the aim of enabling people to achieve their goals in a person-centred and inclusive approach. Our Young Persons groups run every week between 6 – 8pm at our New Forest Wellbeing Centres.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1.00pm to 8.00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9.30am to 3.30pm (remaining hours are flexible).
Location: The Hollies, New Milton, New Forest (1 day a week in Marcella House, Hythe).
About you
The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will undertake assessments and reviews with young people to enable them to better manage their mental health and wellbeing and to support their recovery.
The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will facilitate structured workshops and courses alongside other members of staff/volunteers, including those from other wellbeing services and partner organisations, either face-to face or on digital platforms.

About the role:
This role is based in Westmoreland & Furness and will require travel around the County in line with Business need.
As an IDSVA you will:
Provide a high quality, pro-active service to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse. You will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and the Bridgeway, SARC and other local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence. You will work with survivors and other agencies to monitor the care pathway. This involves risk assessment, helping clients access their rights, along with any other services they require.
You will be required to attend relevant meetings and will provide regular reports to your line manager. You will also undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service in the community.
You will need:
- Experience of working with victims of domestic and sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting.
- Experience of planning and delivering caseloads, with strong crisis management skills and an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- An approved and accredited IDVA and/or ISVA qualification or willingness to work towards this.
- Good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues and an understanding of the effects a court appearance can have on victims and witnesses of crime.

We have a unique opportunity for an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor in a pilot project at Charing Cross Emergency Department. This s a full time 37.5hrs on a 12 month fixed term contract until end of June 2026.
Co-locating, in a health service, an Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate (IDVA), a Domestic Abuse (DA) Coordinator and a violence prevention worker has never been trialed before anywhere in the UK.
This pilot project aims to showcase a gold standard approach to care for families experiencing DA by: -
- Improving recognition and management of victims and perpetrators of DA
- on-site specialised help for victims and perpetrators
- Building sustainable and long-term partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham council, Standing Together Against Domestic Violence (STADV), and Domestic Violence Intervention Project (DVIP).

About the role:
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals in a hospital environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse.
This role is co-located within Charing Cross Hospital 4 days per week and 1 day per week at our office near Old Street.
You will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.

- Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital.
- Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.
- Please note that the successful applicant will be required to sign an honorary contract with the Hospital Trust in addition to their contract of employment.
