This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development (L&D) professional to join our team as we implement our strategy.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy L&D team, providing functional support to help the organisation deliver its strategic aims and corporate plan.

In this role, you will develop and deliver a range of learning activities, as well as support the Business Partner in implementing key projects and learning programs. Your day-to-day duties will be varied, allowing you to utilise your training capabilities within a supportive team environment while contributing to our key deliverables and goals. You will play an integral part in enhancing the learning and development experience across the organisation.  

Based in the UK, the L&D Advisor will be part of a team of six which sits within the People & Culture directorate.

The ideal candidate will bring experience of working within a learning and development environment, delivering training activities both face-to-face and virtually, preferably in a hybrid-working context. This role will have a positive impact to the work of the L&D team and some of our key priorities and deliverables.

Location:  Newcastle or Birmingham preferable - Our L&D team are based out of our Newcastle and Birmingham offices. We have a hybrid approach to working, work pattern and location will be agreed with the successful candidate.  This role involves frequent travel to other offices but in particular to Newcastle and Birmingham.

Our other UK offices are Belfast, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, and Newtown.

· CIPD Qualification, working towards qualification or willing to undertake relevant development.

Hosting is wonderful, but only ever temporary.We're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable person to support our hosted guests to move on from their hosting placements. 

You'll combine your compassion, organisational skills and expertise to work with our guests as they take their next steps in finding a safe home and rebuilding their lives after exploitation. 

Hope at Home operates a hosting scheme for survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK.  We train and support hosts to welcome a survivor facing homelessness into their homes for an agreed time period.

We believe no survivor of slavery should ever have to sleep on the streets. 

We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated person with demonstrable experience of helping people find accommodation to join our team and assist our guests directly to move on from hosting.  This is a brand new, but vital role as we are only able to continue hosting if guests are provided with ways to move on from their temporary hosting placements.  As advice services, housing and support providers are increasingly overwhelmed, we plan to offer our own support for our guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Build a relationship via phone, email and online calls with hosted guests to help them progress their move on options.You will sometimes use an interpreter for these calls.

·Advising guests of their rights to statutory or private rented accommodation.

·Working with guests to apply to housing providers, asylum or MSVCC accommodation when entitled.

·Signposting to other sources of support for guests.

·Ensure Hosting Coordinators and external guest support workers are fully informed of interactions and plans.

· Collaborative Working with housing providers, external support providers, guests and the Hope at Home hosting team.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Stoke and North Staffordshire.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to join us in delivering a comprehensive Stroke Recovery Service across the region.

Position: S11199 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Stoke and North Staffordshire. Extensive travel will be required as part of this role (travel will also include team meetings or other work related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: Circa £19,099 per annum (FTE circa £26,700 per annum)

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract under 31 March 2025. Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2025.

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their carers

· Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified

· Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan

· Providing regular reviews to support people in establishing and achieving their own personal goals.

About You

You will:

· Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities

· Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.

· Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs

· Have the ability to use basic Microsoft system

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme Coordination and Project Delivery

• ​To work closely with the Director of Strategy and Programmes to coordinate and support the delivery of all our programmes to achieve the outputs and outcomes agreed with our funders. 
• To support with event management both online and face to face including providing technical support to participants on platforms for online training, including driving all courses hosted on Zoom, and providing excellent customer service to all engaging with our work.
• To support evaluations through providing and analysing data to use in reporting to funders and stakeholders. 
• To lead on programme administration and funder updates, including tracking key data on platforms including Arts Council Annual Survey, Julie’s Bicycle, Illuminate and Salesforce. 
• To support with the administration of programme activity by attending and writing minutes for key meetings, drawing up programme contracts, aiding with diary management, filing, liaising with key personnel, and conducting phone or zoom conversations as needed. 
• To support with the financial administration of our programmes through invoicing and managing participant expenses. 
• To take part in training and attending any networking events as required, including potential out-of-hours events such as our 3-day residentials, to represent Cause4 externally when required.
• To contribute to Cause4’s overall business development when required, and being pro-active in terms of personal development, working alongside the line-manager to build key objectives for growth within Cause4.

Marketing and Communications

• To oversee and manage the day-to-day communications of our programmes, including managing our dedicated programme inboxes, liaising with participants, trainers and partners as needed. 
• To set-up and publicise key events, projects and training opportunities on all programme websites and relevant platforms, including Eventbrite. 
• To support the Programmes team to achieve public-facing training sales targets for our programmes through implementation of the marketing plan.
• To support with communications and marketing by curating social media content (SmarterQueue), programme newsletters (Mailchimp), graphics (Canva), and blogs. 
• To support updating the website on a regular basis with support from the web designer and to be a coordinating lead and contributor in writing for key publications such as the digital Now, New and Next publication. 
• To research and develop our audiences and networks, in line with our priority areas, regularly updating our databased to ensure key contacts are in place. 
• To lead on the analytics of our marketing data, collating vital information from SmarterQueue, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Analytics. 

This is a remote (home) working role, with opportunities to meet with the Cause4 team at regular events throughout the year in London, Cambridge, and other locations. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To deliver the role, we’d expect you to have the following skills and experience:

• Some existing project management experience in the arts, heritage or culture sectors, or an equivalent role where your skills can be transferred to the above responsibilities. 
• Demonstrable commitment to Cause4’s values.
• A broad understanding and interest in the arts, culture and heritage sectors in England. 
• A thorough approach to research and attention to detail and exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in different forms and styles. 
• The ability to manage budgets and a track record of achieving targets.

• IT literate with experience of working with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

About the team

Our Strategy Enablement directorate brings together five core enabling support functions -  Finance, Tech & Data, Governance, Planning and Property and HR Delivery, where this particular role sits. About the role

As a Resourcing & Talent Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting and delivering against our people sourcing strategy to reduce cost per hire and build our employment brand. • Comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in the criminal justice system (desirable but not essential) 
• Research and advocacy skills – you will reach out to other organisations to support your cases where required 
• Significant resilience, and willingness to be professionally developed and clinically supervised

The Role

Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Data Protection Adviser will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws. The role would suit a candidate looking to develop a career in compliance and data protection.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Acting as a knowledge expert on compliance and promoting a culture of compliance within the charity in relation to data protection, fundraising and the provision of support services, by the provision of advice, guidance, internal communications and training.

· Assist in the development of new training materials and communications relating to Data Protection and Compliance including overseeing the relevant intranet pages.

· Help to review existing processes and policies and assist in the updating/development of these, along with tracking changes in the external environment that may have an impact on these policies and procedures.

· Overseeing, managing and responding to queries from the departments different inboxes including those for Data Protection, individual data rights requests and data breaches.

· Project managing a number of key actions from an external review of the organisation’s Data Protection practices.

· Assist the Compliance Lead and Associate Director of Legal and Governance in producing ad hoc and annual compliance reports along with any annual submissions to regulators, 3rd parties or external bodies.

The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is looking for an experienced, proactive and customer focused adviser to support the work of the wider Advice and Support team

The post holder will be responsible for the Midlands area plus other areas as required with an expectation of completing in person visits across the allocated counties.  The role therefore requires access to your own vehicle and to reliable broadband. The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the UK’s leading charities, providing a range of benevolent support to individuals and awarding grants to local and national charities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance & Legal Structure Coordination

• Support our internationalisation efforts and the set-up / registration of new country entities 

• Conclude & maintain necessary agreements (collaboration agreements, service agreements, contracts, and data protection agreements) between ProVeg International Inc. (US) and new and existing ProVeg legal entities, and liaise with external lawyers for advice

Trademark Coordination

• Manage, oversee and expand the trademark portfolio of ProVeg International Inc. 

• Coordinate infringements actions with a trademark law firm 

• Support the development of a trademark strategy

• Liaise/ manage contact with a trademark law firm 

International Legal Affairs Coordination

• Check and arrange international and national contracts and agreements for ProVeg C.I.C (UK) and ProVeg International Inc. (US) and liaise with external lawyers for advice

• Ensure organisational compliance and assess legal risks. Advise the Senior Leadership Team on mitigation

• Support ProVeg countries (provide templates for contracts etc. or general advice where possible)

Data Protection Coordination

• Manage, update, maintain and ensure compliance with GDPR and other international Data Protection Regulations 

• Ensure and monitor compliance with Data Protection Regulation for ProVeg’s International Departments and support countries with compliance with national Data Protection laws

• Liaise with internal Data Protection Coordinator (Germany) and external Data Protection Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field required; graduate degree preferred

• Broad legal knowledge, particularly regarding data protection, contracts, governance, business law, and related regulations. Knowledge around employment law, Trademark, and other areas strongly preferred.

• Proven experience with a minimum of two to three years of working in a legal support role, ideally in the non-profit sector

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors, Heads and International Senior Leadership and Operations team)

• IT skills, including Google Docs, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets

Working closely with the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the role is responsible for managing the finance function and developing a culture of providing financial help and support across the charity. Responsibilities include day to day management of the finance function, overseeing and motivating a staff team of 5. You will prepare and develop management reporting, including monthly management accounts and restricted fund accounts, ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare budgets, and manage the year end accounts and audit process including drafting charity SORP financial statements. You will also take the lead on process improvements, where appropriate to ensure efficient and effective running of the finance team and it’s support to the wider organisation.
 
The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing finance functions within the charity sector, with an excellent understanding of SORP and charity compliance. You will be either fully qualified or qualified by experience and will have demonstrable experience of managing and motivating finance teams effectively and be accomplished at building relationships, driving the team towards more effective business partnering with the wider organisation. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with both finance and non finance colleagues. The service offers peer-led self-management and physical activity courses both within communities and online. Courses are designed to support people to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to live well with their condition.

You will help us to develop and pilot services for young people transitioning from our Young People and families service to adult services.

You will help us to ensure our services reach diverse communities in the North West, by co-producing resources and testing ways of working.

You will co-ordinate all aspects of the Versus Arthritis service, including recruiting volunteers, course promotion and building relationships in the community. You will be responsible for supporting volunteers to deliver services, as well as monitoring and evaluation so that we can effectively demonstrate the impact the service is making.
