About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated evaluation manager to lead and develop a programme of evaluations. Working closely with the evaluation senior officer and colleagues across the organisation, this role is responsible for ensuring we have robust evaluation methods that produce high quality impact evidence to inform improvement plans for our charitable activities and future strategic direction. The role will also have a cross-organisation focus, supporting a wide range of teams to develop their evaluation activities, ensuring that we can evidence the impact of our whole range of work.

About you 

You’ll have demonstrable work experience in delivering evaluations of services or projects using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews and creating theories of change. You should be methodical, with strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills. We expect you to have experience of creatively disseminating evaluation evidence to a variety of audiences. You will be a self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with a range of teams across the organisation.

The Role

To provide a high-quality housing management service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery, by a being a primary point of contact for tenants. We are looking for a Marketing Executive, to work in the Marketing and Communications team.

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join Young Enterprise as we prepare to launch our Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in helping the marketing team with two business transformation projects which are closely aligned with our Strategy: rebranding the charity and launching a new website.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with experience of digital marketing and branding, who can work autonomously.

The role will lead on elements of the production of marketing and communication materials in the new brand. The job holder will need to evidence excellent project management skills as they be helping to manage the process of creating and approving a large number of marketing materials. They will also prepare marketing templates for use across the charity, providing advice to colleagues on branding and content.

The Marketing Executive will work closely with our Digital Engagement Manager to liaise with teams across the charity to prepare content and visual assets for the new website.

The job holder will be involved in all other aspects of communications, such as contributing to creating content for social media, helping to prepare and deliver integrated campaign activity, creating basic designs for social assets and helping our internal teams shape and activate marketing briefs.

The job holder will need to quickly develop relationships with stakeholders across the charity, and be able to manage deliverables and support colleagues through the transformation projects.

Occasional travel will be required to England/Wales to attend YE events, e.g. to capture content for social media.

We Are Looking For

• Experience of print and digital marketing – working with design, social media and other digital channels, with content tailored for different audiences.
• Experience of a rebrand process.
• Experience in developing a new web presence.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Agile project management and organisation skills, including proven ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience of working with agencies including writing briefs, overseeing work and providing feedback.
• Candidate is likely to have at least three years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of brand and design, and optimal ways to use them to create standout and engagement.
• Energy, drive and a positive attitude that motivates others.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, utilising negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Design/editing skills – Canva or Adobe (Indesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties. 

What we are looking for

• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Please note this role requires Enhanced Adult DBS checks.

A key part of a broader Communications, Policy and Campaigns division, our media team serves the media needs of the whole organisation. Collaboration and relationship building skills are the name of the game, as we work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external partners to generate influential coverage across Shelter’s campaigns, fundraising, community and services outputs. Our aim is to make sure housing and homelessness rides high on the political and public agenda through timely and powerful storytelling. This senior media officer position is an exciting role that’s been created in partnership with our High Value Partnerships team to help boost the media cut through and support the smooth running of our partnerships with big brand names like Ikea, HSBC, B&Q and Marks & Spencer. It is a new role that you will have the opportunity to mould within a supportive framework and team.

Crucially, you have a keen grasp of what journalists and producers are looking for and are as comfortable speaking to a consumer journalist, as you are the policy editor of the Times– and you will know how to tailor your pitch accordingly.

Adept at managing your own time and projects, and happy to contribute new ideas and try different approaches, you also know what it takes to support, enable and motivate others. Your keen eye for risks and opportunities, and strong attention to detail will help ensure your team and colleagues deliver to a high standard. Salary: £21216 per annum for actual hors worked (full time equivalent is £25,857.00).

In the role of Young Carer Practitioner you will need to be passionate about empowering and helping carers with a range of matters on a one-to-one basis.

In this role you will provide values based support, advice and information to service users and carers ensuring they have access to practical and emotional support.

You will also assist carers to develop coping strategies, conduct home visits and carer assessments and provide information about mental health and mental heal services that are available to them.

Job purpose

The Safe Haven Deputy Manager’s role is to be part of the Safe Haven management team and jointly ensure effective delivery of high-quality service for adults experiencing mental health crisis in Oxfordshire. The postholder will be required to independently lead a safe and effective shift and offer crisis mental health support for people presenting in mental health crisis including assessing risks, facilitating re-focusing activities, and conducting one-to-one support sessions on the phone and face to face focusing on person-centred listening, grounding, safety planning and exploring coping strategies. Our highly committed Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the North East England & Yorkshire Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North East England or Yorkshire region, which includes North, South, East and West Yorkshire, Teesside, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. There will be occasional travel around these areas and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.

The post is part time, three days per week, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

About the team

The team works remotely and prides itself in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR, along with experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families, along with supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the North East & Yorkshire would be valuable.
