The US-UK Fulbright Commission is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to advance education, promote civic engagement and develop compassionate leaders through education exchange between the peoples of the US and the UK. As part of our advising mission, we deliver the Sutton Trust Fulbright US programme. Working in partnership with the Sutton Trust, one of the UK’s leading social mobility charities, the ambitious programme gives talented state school students a taster of US culture and higher education through an annual programme of support, including UK-based residentials and a week-long summer programme at a US university campus. Those students interested in pursuing a full undergraduate degree in the US receive one-to-one guidance and application support from the team throughout the admissions and financial aid process in the autumn.
This role supports three programme managers and the director to work with the students, by helping to administrate the programme – including supporting programme selection, residential coordination, US admissions advice, through to pre-departure programming before students enrol at a US institution. The programme is administered by the Fulbright Commission, and the assistant sits in the Advising team within the Commission.
You will offer a passion for higher education and a willingness to learn. You’ll have a great eye for detail, be organised and be efficient. You’ll be able to spot problems before they arise and excel at ensuring processes are followed – all while being sympathetic to our students. Essential for the role will be experience of working with young people either in a professional or volunteering capacity. Given the mission of our organisation and the nature of the Sutton Trust Fulbright US Programme, candidates with personal experience with the US higher education system will be at an advantage.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Community Care Coordinators to support some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. These roles have been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

About you:
We are seeking someone who is comfortable and experienced working in a small company or charity, understanding that our capacity and resources are limited. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to identify and promptly address risks or safeguarding concerns. Empathy, attentive listening, and strong verbal communication skills are also key requirements. Proficiency with IT and the ability to maintain up-to-date records in our database are necessary. Additionally, you should have the tools to maintain your well-being in what can be a challenging but rewarding role. You will need to demonstrate and build the resilience required to work with individuals who may struggle to engage with services like ours and think creatively to encourage engagement. Purpose of the role:
To provide trauma informed and person-centered information, advice, and guidance to a variety of caller types, including people in and out of exploitation, professionals, members of the public, and businesses. You will form part of a 24/7 team of Helpline Advisors whose day-to-day responsibilities include answering incoming calls, making callouts, sending emails, drafting referrals to external agencies, and maintaining accurate data records.

About the role
As an integral part of the Volunteering Team, this role focuses on enhancing and sustaining a proactive corporate volunteering programme at the BHF. Success will hinge on close collaboration with colleagues in Retail and our Marketing Fundraising and Engagement directorate (MFE).
Beyond corporate volunteering, you will support other directorates in involving volunteers and seek opportunities to increase volunteer participation across the BHF. As a senior team member, you will provide expert advice, support change governance, and ensure effective work prioritisation, working with internal teams and external partners to advance the BHF’s mission through volunteering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhancing and sustaining a proactive corporate volunteering programme at the BHF
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in Retail and MFE for successful programme delivery
- Supporting other directorates in involving volunteers and increasing participation
- Providing expert advice and supporting change governance as a senior team member
- Ensuring effective prioritisation of work and collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Working Arrangements
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract, working until the 30th November 2025.

About you
We are looking for an experienced individual to enhance our volunteering programmes, with strong skills in stakeholder engagement, volunteer management systems, and project implementation.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- A proven track record with large-scale volunteer management in fast-paced environments
- Skills in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Good general knowledge of the third sector and the role of volunteers
- An understanding of the complexities and opportunities within Retail Volunteering
- Experience of developing and managing corporate volunteering programmes
- Familiarity with digital onboarding systems and stewardship platforms
- Experience working across multi-site organisations with remote workers

Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Senior Independent Sexual Violence Advocate to provide an effective and professional service to LGBT+ people facing violence and abuse.
Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do.
We run a national support helpline for LGBT+ victims and survivors of: domestic abuse; hate crime; rape and sexual abuse; and so-called “conversion therapy”. We provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for LGBT+ victims who need longer-term support. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
We use what we learn through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence. We build evidence through key pieces of research, like our upcoming report into LGBT+ experiences of sexual violence. We push for legislative change, improved statutory guidance for victims, and better understanding of the needs of LGBT+ people around the country.
Galop is looking for an experienced practitioner to provide effective support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence in the UK. You will work within the advocacy team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual violence. You will act as a specialist lead within the advocacy team on sexual violence, including providing support, advice and expertise to your colleagues and externally.
You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community.
You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services. You will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team.
